Re: Feature: 25 Essential Wii U Retail Games

Finntendo

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy

Well BOOBSLIDER was removed in west. The very important feature that affects gameplay SO MUCH.

I agree with many that Sonic Racers (or whaterver) should have been included. I own majority, missing some games than are not my thing: Mario Maker, Pokken, Star Fox and Colour Splash.

Not owning 101 or Mirage Sessions but probably will buy some point.

Re: eBay Reports an Average NES Mini Sale Price of Over $200

Finntendo

@XCWarrior

I agree. Why people are OMG I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW AND WILL PAY ANYTHING. Chill out people.

I have Nes Mini. Stalked it appearing on website here and insta preordered (79.90€ here). Would not pay more for the system.

It's not stupid who is asking but the one who is paying.

And shame, SHAME ON Nintendo being again short on supply. Wonder if you pull the same with Switch.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of the Nintendo Switch?

Finntendo

I told myself no need to Day 1, but I cannot help myself. I am SO excited. I truly hope it has enough power to be amazing as docked and not just handheld on big screen.

I am already looking at preorders, probably going to change it later to BoF bundle if there is one... THERE HAS TO BE ONE.

So now time to clear some backlogs with other games XD

Re: Editorial: The Rights and Wrongs of Shutting Down Pokemon GO Fan-Made Tools Like Pokévision

Finntendo

@Shirma_Akayaku

Our closest Pokestop is about 12km from our house

And boohoo for you lazy people crying about Pokevision being shut down. It was just obvious cheat. And yes, it takes fun out of the game . But we want everything the easy way, don't we? Best would be that I could lay down on my sofa and catch them all without walking. Just like with my 3DS and other Pokemon games.

Of course you can say "no one forces you to use those".

Re: Pokémon GO Updates to Make Game "Respectful" of Private Institutions

Finntendo

Actually, at least in here Finland, churches have said no problem playing in graveyards as long as you do it respectfully (not jumping over gravestones and such). Also here churches have given players a chance to charge their phones and offered water/juice to drink since it's been hot few weeks

Of course also noticing if there is some kind of service going on in church/at graveyard that you don't go pokemoning there during it.

Re: Pokémon GO Players Told To Steer Clear Of Japanese Nuclear Disaster Zone

Finntendo

I never understood why people turn into idiotic zombies with something like this. Going to area like that, breaking in places - especially when the radius is enough to catch something without breaking in.
Or jumping over gravestones at graveyard. Or going to church when there is funerals/weddings/something in process.

Or complain it is company's fault that kids run to the streets. No. You don't have to run to street to catch it, you can catch it from the sidewalk. Your kid, your responsibility.

Adult? Could someone slap you for being an idiot.

Re: Nintendo Download: 21st July (Europe)

Finntendo

@Shambo

Oi! Someone else liking it too! I have it as physical version as well, idea is wonderful and loved it - even it being bit clumsy

I found the game when I was just trailersurfing on YT and I knew I had to get it. Did not regret. But yea, even with my likes, 20€ sounds bit pricey.

Re: Pokémon GO Arrives in 26 More European Countries

Finntendo

I am WP person no one for me, but husband downloaded it and well...crashing. Hahah! Besides we live middle of nowhere so it seems no Pokemons here

A friend of ours lives in Japan and he said "thanfully no Pokemon Go here yet. I think it may cause mayhem" XD

Re: Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition Coming This November, Ships With 30 Games

Finntendo

@Yorumi

I simply see this as moneysaver - the games I don't have mostly but kinda have always wanted. Without spending hundreds first to buy used console, then games and then probably new controllers. And yes, playing F-Zero with SNES with my 42" does look bit strange but hey... I can still plug it in (unfortunately my old Phillips Videopac would need older tv).

But hey, we all prefer different things <3

Re: Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition Coming This November, Ships With 30 Games

Finntendo

@XCWarrior

If you have original NES, why would you want it? I have SNES so if there was SNES version, I wouldn't buy it because I have original. I rather buy that with € of normal WiiU game than play with gamepad/emulator.

Adding cartridge possibility would push the price up. And all you would be here whining, why Ninty releases a copy for 30-yr-old console.

Yes. It is perfect for holidays, price of one Wii U game. 1/3 of the price that those games cost on VC. Also the people who don't have access to VC.

@Yorumi

You do know real NES with few games costs 150€. At least here it does, just kept checking the prices. And games costs more than 2€.

But good thing is - none of you are forced to buy it.

Re: Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition Coming This November, Ships With 30 Games

Finntendo

@-DG

Exactly this. I haven't bought any of these on VC (okay, Megaman is probably the only one). Also, if you buy NES and start buying games to it online, it is awfully pricey. I checked our own "eBay" and just consoline (no controllers, no wires, nothing than a box) costs 50€ (+shipping). Console and few games around 140€. I really don't get kicks out of using cartridges, I basicly don't care. If it is in smooth package with much cheaper price than buying those on VC/original cartridges - why not. I am sure 30 games with my busy life keeps me entertained among with my other Nintys.

So yes, this is probably just for silly us fanbo..girls who used to play with the original as a kid in the 80s. But in the end of the day in MY life, it is only about how I feel and not how others feel.

throws her money at Nintendo

Re: Stardew Valley is Digging Its Way to Wii U

Finntendo

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!

throws her money at screen

Haven't had time to play it on PC recently since been busy, but I did use already 145h with it XD

It has been worth the money.

And if person who I had conversation months ago in Asdivine Hearts review about "too bad SDV won't have port for WiiU" or something, I take back my words now.

Re: New Splatoon amiibo Now Available For Pre-Order On Nintendo's UK Store

Finntendo

I think I am good with original amiibos but Sisters? OH YES.
I try hide new amiibos from husband, but he keeps spotting that amount of amiibos is going up, those are everwhere. Besides, him seeing a package in mail, it is like Christmas for him. OOOH WHAT WE HAVE HERE.

I haven't wasted money on amiibos since Roy and Ryu.

Ryu <3

Re: Review: Asdivine Hearts (Wii U eShop)

Finntendo

@Dpishere

Oh it would be great! The game is worth the money. but like you said, being one man project.. probably not going to happen. Unless he hires people to do the ports. But I am glad he decided to go for PC and Steam instead instead of XBox

And yea, Ninty has Harvest Moons but would be awesome to have something else like that on Ninty.

Re: Review: Asdivine Hearts (Wii U eShop)

Finntendo

Actually bought few days ago, just googled and it had gotten nice reviews on mobile and steam so... played two hours and it's been ok. Tho the moving speed is indeed annoying.

(My nintygaming has been so little lately... after I got involved with Stardew Valley - 120h with that so maybe I could now play also something else...)

Re: Nintendo of Europe Rolls Out Official Online Stores In More Countries

Finntendo

@BornInNorway81

or more like to Nordic countries, not just Scandinavia. We have several online retailers that already ship all over the Nordic countries so NINTY COME ON! We are left out on everything (no Club Nintendo for example, at least MyNintendo works )

So far I use order my ninty merch from EMP and games from different online retailers...

Re: Nintendo Download: 31st March (Europe)

Finntendo

@Chandlero

Actually Other M (if you can find it anywhere anymore) has been here for 9.90 for few years I've also bought it, never played it but you know.. ."because it's cheap"

But nothing, nothing. I am glad, more time to finish games

Re: Review: Miitomo (Mobile)

Finntendo

Sounds... complicated.

Also, I own WP so probably not coming there and then again... I really don't think any of my FB/RL friends do Nintystuff....

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th March (Europe)

Finntendo

LTTP MY CHILDHOOD LOVE! I've been too cheap trying to find it online for my SNES (And I do not want NTSC or German version) so this will do it... I love, love, love, love, love the game. Despite of Moldrom.

Which I hate. The most of the all Zeldabosses.

Re: Rumour: The European Version of Bravely Second Only Has "Good" Sidequest Endings

Finntendo

I really don't understand the huge fuzz about clothing cencoring and stuff. I mean, just how cencored at least US tv has been ... always. So you just want to see underage (preteen) girl in very little clothing... okay ummm yes. I mean, I couldn't care less, but it is bit creepy. And "it's just a game" doesn't make it less creepy.
Boobslider removing was bit disappointed (female player here )

Removing bad endings are... well stupid, idiotic and makes no sense. Life ain't candyfloss and rainbows and unicorns. I do understand European strange laws like how MiiPlaza game purchase differs from NA one but yea.

Re: Miitomo Preregistration is Now Open in 16 Countries

Finntendo

@Glenka

For a moment I was sad there was no Finland, but then it was good to notice no Sweden either

Honestly, we were already missing all the ClubNinteno stuff so would appriciate that this at least would appear... Tho I have to say, interesting choise of countries...

(edit: sorry if I double post and don't notice, my mouse is broken and keeps doubleclicking on its own)

Re: Feature: Time to Vote for Your Nintendo Life Game of the Year Awards 2015

Finntendo

For me it is kinda tie for Splatoon and XCX. They are great both in their own way. Even with kinda limited content, Splatoon just doesn't get old. And the fact that "shooting" multiplayer doesn't have to include blood or humans/zombies/aliens And it is all tied together with awesome soundtrack

XCX (I actually got it on release day, but hubby started it first so erm.. he is playing it) is very well done massive JRPG with so many things to do and hours to spend that. It is awesome.

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

Finntendo

I have LE preordered as well

Except everything is lagging BECAUSE OUR POST WORKERS ARE ON STRIKE. And then again, I'll be gone from 4th till 12th pretty much. Stupid husband gets to play it first.

with first XC he had to play it first because I was so sick with 40c fever that was too tired to play so I forced him to play so I can watch.

Tho he'll probably order Fallout 4 (he had first get better graphics card) and is busy with that ...
