Yes and no. My spouse and I both exclusively game on the Switch. Prior to this we were both PC gamers, we since parted out our gaming machines. Our son games exclusively on his X1, however when that inevitably breaks he wants to move to the PS4. so in that sense this article is correct on a per household basis.

@BezBot The Switch is very affordable, especially considering compared to what the Scorpio and PS4 + will cost. But that's not the point, you made an empirical statement "Nobody will get more than one Switch in a house, it's not a 3ds". Just because you feel that won't happen, doesn't make it a reality.

Awesome. His stance on households wanting more then one is correct at least for our house. As soon as we can get our hands on another one the wife will be picking one up. Do I think they can hit 100 million? Talk to me this time next year. If they crack 12.5 million this year, I'll go with maybe, otherwise I would feel safe betting on 50-60 million.

I'm all in for Physic carts and will gladly pay another $10-$20 for them. Case in point will be ordering I Am Setsuna from Amazon.JP so I can get the physical version. Will have to bite the bullet on Snake Pass but hopefully will have a physical release by tbe time I buy it.
