I really enjoyed this one! … for whatever reason I bought and played this day one… it was the Wii-U drought days lol.
But the Wii-U version had unique content exclusive to the console.
At release… no one had made a guide yet for the new puzzle…
I scoured YouTube for answers and eventually left a comment on a walkthrough video… Some other random person was also stuck and we solved the new content together. Pretty cool experience.
Spreading myself way to thin! The switch is on the back burner this weekend till I finally polish off some other projects…
Final Fantasy XIII on Xbox Assassins Creed Syndicate on Xbox Persona 4 Golden on Vita Trails in the Sky SC on Vita No Mans Sky on Steam Deck Fallout Frontier on Steam Deck The Expanse Book 4 Ciobola Burn on the reading front!
I played it on the Wii-U in 2012, I don’t remember much backtracking… but I do remember it being tedious and having numerous difficulty spikes (damn you police officers in the arcade!)
However… I still loved it.
The fact that the game is a Japanese man’s (Shigesato Itoi) idea of what it’s like to grow up in America is hilarious to me. Every where you look there are American cliches… we all only eat Hamburgers!
Having played a ton of Super Smash Bros and constantly wondering who Ness was… and what the heck a Mr. Saturn is… It was great to see the source material.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 28th)
I’ve once again over extended myself…
Playing Super Mario Wonder, Sonic Superstars, Dredge, Starfield, AND just started Alan Wake 2.
I did manage to beat and get the patch for Wunderling DX, really enjoyed it.
Re: Xbox Developer Open To A Switch Release Of Pentiment
I’m not sure it would actually run well on the Switch, I played it on the Xbox One X and it had considerable slow down.
Specifically the parts when you zoom out of the book to flip pages. I think Pentiment is a bit more resource draining then it lets on.

Re: Poll: Which Was Your First 'Final Fantasy'?
I’m embarrassed to say, as a 35 year old… my first Final Fantasy was 15!
Lol in my defense my parents didn’t let me own a console growing up. Only a PC for games
Re: Another Classic Fantasy ARPG Appears To Have Been Teased For Switch
Hell yeah I would be interested!

I thought it was cool (the main story)
The first two DLC felt like… DLC. Lol just some random extra stuff tacked on
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 11th)
Spreading myself too thin as usual!
Switch - Cathedral -made it to the mermaid boss and may give up lol
Switch - Phantasy Star IV - just got the wand
Xbox One - Pentiment - Act 2
Xbox One - Weird West - just started the third character
Xbox One - Atomic Heart - just beat the intro

Re: Exclusive: Wargroove 2 Brings Strategy To The Shores On Switch Later This Year

Re: Talking Point: Where Should The Next Pokémon Legends Game Take Place?
It should be in 8,000 BC!!!
I WANNA SEE BLASTOISE WRESTLE A T-REX
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 28th)
Been plugging away at 2 major RPG’s Persona 4 Golden (Vita) and Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360).
I’m just past dungeon 4 in P4G and just past chapter 11 in FFXIII.
Both are awesome! But I’m ready to start something new… maybe Strange Horticulture or Risen.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 17th)
“Assassins Creed Origins” sunk its teeth into me, it’s awesome! How did I pass this one up?
On the switch front… I’m at the sunken temple in “Cathedral”
And chipping away at “Destroy all humans”
Re: New Story Of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Screenshots Show Off Town And Cows

Still chugging away at Soul Hackers 2.
I also got seriously addicted to Slime Rancher. (No idea if this game ends or not)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 24th)
Been plugging away at Soul Hackers 2! It’s not perfect… but still enjoyable.
Looking forward to finishing it so I can dive into Disco Elysium and Fuga
Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want To See At Tomorrow's Nintendo Direct Showcase?
I just want a “No One Lives Forever” switch port, AND maybe a remake of “Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure”
Re: Nintendo Direct Showcase Confirmed For Tomorrow
Fingers crossed for Metroid Prime Federation Force 2!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 10th)
@JoeDiddley at first no problems! As time went on (updates came I think) I experienced a severe hang up at the start up screen.
Switched the game to boot up using “proton experimental” no problems after that.
Re: Review: Tinykin - A Wholesome Platforming Spin On Pikmin
Just beat it on Gamepass, I agree with the review, pretty spot on.
I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on the “post game content” unless you really want to hunt down all the pollen
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 10th)
Chugging away at Soul Hackers 2 on the Deck.
I just finished Assassins Creed Syndicate on the Xbox.
Maybe it’s finally time to start Disco Elysium
Re: Game Journalist Doubles Down On Zelda News At Upcoming Nintendo Direct
I still want Starfox Grand Prix
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 13th)
Trying to polish off Persona 4 Golden before Soul Hackers 2 comes out
Re: Splatoon 2 Players Will Receive "Save Data Bonuses" In Splatoon 3
This is dumb… cloud saves aren’t supported in Splatoon 2….
So if you ever see upgraded to the V2 or OLED. You lost everything.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 6th)
Almost done with Disc 2 in Final Fantasy XIII (I enjoy that it was brave enough to try new mechanics)
Just started Act 2 in Inscryption

No Mans Sky on Steam Deck
Fallout Frontier on Steam Deck
The Expanse Book 4 Ciobola Burn on the reading front!

Just playing games I started on other consoles that were announced for the switch later…

No Mans Sky on my Steam Deck

Re: Dreamcast Game 'Slave Zero' Gets A Surprise Prequel Penned By RWBY Writer
Huh? I played Slave Zero on my PC back in the day… thought it was cool because you were a giant ruining a city… and it had good graphics at the time.
…this game has neither. Why even use the Slave Zero name? I doubt it has any weight
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 4th)
@Shambo yes, I also suspect it will come to
Switch too…
But it’s very similar to 4, great branching paths with multiple solutions. It’s awesome, plenty of reliability!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 4th)
Loving Sniper Elite 5 on my Xbox.
Also just started Steam World Quest on Switch.
Re: Soapbox: Help, I Can't Stop Buying Japanese Games I Don't Understand And Will Never Play
Definitely guilty.
It’s funny to think I need the “released only in Japan” sequels to have a full series of a game.
(Glances at Trails in the Sky FC followed by two cases with kanji written on the side)

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 28th)
Just finished Elden Ring and wow, what a game…
I started Final Fantasy Stranger in Paradise right after… but boy… it seemed Janky.
Other than that Nintendo Switch Sports has really grown on me, trying to work my way up the Pro Leagues.
…anyone else notice considerable lag when playing online?
Re: Take-Two Interactive Plans On Releasing 8 'New Iterations' Of Past Games
@anoyonmus that’s true for the Japanese and North America versions! But in Europe… Take Two published.
We can agree on one thing though… it probably won’t happen lol
