Dyadic Games' Kickstarter campaign for Sikanda is now live. If you missed the initial reveal, this is an RPG action-adventure game inspired by iconic JRPG series from the SNES era. The game is currently scheduled to launch on the Switch in February 2020.
Sikanda takes place on the moon of an uninhabited planet and is about a young hero who stumbles across an ancient pendant named "Sikanda" and must overcome a group of sinister strangers. There are several skills for the Sikanda, transforming it into powerful weapons and tools.
As previously noted, you'll be able to select between a male or female protagonist and guide them through a non-linear adventure filled with hidden treasures and secret passages. The environments are built around gameplay mechanics and real-time action battles promise to put your skills to the test.
At the time of writing, the game Kickstarter for the game has raised €8,000, with a €40,000 goal and 27 days to go. For more information be sure to check out the game's Square Enix Collective page.

I'm wary of Kickstarter, but good luck to the developers.
I will wait until the game ready to be released.
To Liam Doolan:
"The game is currently scheduled to launch on the Switch in Feburary 2020."
Feburary ??
And it will release in 2025. I know Kickstarter projects..
@Anti-Matter Fixed, thanks.
@CCore28
There is another indie games that funded by SquareEnix collectives, and used Kickstarter also.
It was Re:Legend by Magnus Games.
That sword looks way too much like Frostmourne haha
You would think Octopath's success would encourage Square to invest more in these types of RPGs. I guess they need more of our money to be sure? Okay then...
Burner by KS too many times. All the best for the Devs, but I wouldn't hold out hope.
I hope they can improve the game drastically cause it looks ho hum generic to me. Good luck to them.
Generic, derivative, pass.
At a minimum they not making more of the lazy pixel-art nonsense that is flooding the eShop. Glad they still teach in design school the difference between "inspired by" and "a mimic of"
This looks REALLY generic, it looks a lot like that mobile port Oceanhorn. Gonna pass on this, pretty sure I won't have much interest once I've got Diablo III in my hands.
Hmm i like the look of it, i quite like the chunky graphical style
I'm ready to party!
Ayyyyyyyyyyy lmao.
@Racthet916 I thought this looked liked Oceanhorn as well. Will stick with that and the sequel and wait for a release and review of this.
