Game Freak and Creatures Inc really knocked it out of the park with the base starters, and I would argue Scorbunny, Grookey, and Sobble are the best set to come since Gen 3.

These final evolutions though just feel weird. Grookey’s final is admittedly not that bad, but Sobble’s took an absolute 180. I’m fine with them going for this “secret agent” sort of vibe to Sobble, but I wish there was at least a little more going on in the design. Scorbunny’s final evolution leaked elsewhere, and in my opinion, it’s by far the most uninspired, although the only image out there for it right now is very blurry.

They’ve been seriously pushing this part of the game, so I hope it delivers. Ideally they use the Wild Area as a base for how to approach a more open region in Gen 9.

This was really underwhelming, although Ash has a Dusk-Lycanroc and a Melmetal, neither of those two will ever be able to top the strength and coolness of Ash-Greninja or his Sinnoh team.

I genuinely freaked out in joy during this part of the presentation. This is the one thing in Smash Bros. that if you ask me, probably shouldn’t be in it, but for some reason is.

Why on Earth would I want to listen to what Vice has to say on an anime-styled RPG action game.

This is definitely one of my favorite Pokemon spin offs in the past few years, although the gacha elements are annoying. I better hecking get Kris.

This is the first game I have played in the series and I can confidently say I don’t feel let down by it all. It’s great to see awesome games do well!

My DSi was shipped with a broken L button, it would almost never respond to my inputs no matter how hard I pressed.

My original Wii dealt with disk reading problems about 4 years into having it, although I don’t exactly blame Nintendo for that one. However, my Wii nunchucks have had drifting issues in the past, it doesn’t happen all the time though.

After about a month of getting my Wii U, the Gamepad absolutely refused to stay consistently connected to the Wii U unless it was very close to the system itself, it still does it to this day.

Switch has the occasional Joycon drift, has a small crack by the air vent, and the Game Card flap has been chipped down over time resulting in it never staying in place anymore. My kickstand won’t stay in place all of the time either.

Funny that they say a part of the inspiration for the combat came from partner Pokemon, all the more reason to love the game!

This seemed inevitable considering how long it was taking, but it’s still really disappointing. You’d think Mojang would be able to figure out a way to reverse-engineer shaders from the java edition into the bedrock editions, but I guess their will to bring it to EVERYTHING as opposed to just Xbox One X ultimately killed the project.

Even though I’m sure both of these games are fine in their own right, I hope Nintendo winds down the NES titles and starts releasing SNES titles soon.

Perhaps for the 1st year anniversary of the service we’ll see SNES titles.

It always boggles my mind how people find these glitches and loopholes in games.

I was thinking about this the other day actually and I think that this is ultimately the smartest move they could make from a success point of view. Super Mario Maker 2 just came out, and most people’s level-creating itch will have been scratched for quite a few months. If Chicken Wiggle wants to be a viable competitor it has to wait it out anyways, and taking more time for the game to be properly developed with care will make the game be even more successful anyways.

The world truly won’t be the same without him. As someone who has struggled with depression in the past, the thing we tend to forget the most is how important we are to other people. We get so intoxicated with the idea that we are some of the most terrible people ever, when that’s almost never the truth and we forget the value we provide to others.

I’ve been a fan of his for a long time, and watching the events of the past several months take place has been nothing short of heartbreaking to watch. I hope he is still alive and well, and I wouldn’t be the least bit mad if he is simply just done with being “Etika” forever. At this point I just hope the best comes out of this situation, whatever that may be.

It appears Nintendo did in fact give an approximate release window for the game when it got delayed earlier this year.

Didn’t Nintendo say Mario Kart Tour was going to release this Summer? Kind of Nintendo to release these 2 so close to one another, even if Mario Kart Tour ends up being at the very backend of the Summer.

Gosh do those pilots look emotionless or what. I would prefer if they didn’t even show them in their cockpits at all if their going to look like that.

Those screenshots of the game look pretty bad, I don’t blame Nintendo in the slightest for not letting the game on the platform.

I love this so much, BotW is one of my favorite games of all time, and now we finally get to see what happens afterwards.

@Woomy_NNYes Regarding Super Sea Snails: You can actually still get these outside of Splatfests in Splatoon 2, every time you level up from Level 30 and so on, you’ll earn 1 Super Sea Snail. These stack as well so you don’t have to worry about picking them up every time you level up.

Regarding Ability Chunks: These can mainly be obtained through Salmon Run, they are the green capsules you earn by playing the mode after you fill up your reward meter enough.

I hope the goofiness and fun of the old games that didn’t have voice acting is brought back out with this game. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens had some fun parts to it, but it severely lacked in bringing out that Lego charm that 1, 2, The Complete Saga, and even The Clone Wars had in their own respective games.

@Woomy_NNYes Yep, they did it with Splatoon 1 to determine what the campaign in Splatoon 2 would be like. And considering that they’re ending this one with a pretty big bang it’s fair to say that the winning team will determine what the campaign will be like, and to a much greater effect too since there is the whole chaos and order theming going on with this one as opposed to the original game which was simply Team Callie VS Team Marie.

I am really unsure of which to pick this time around, as it’s pretty clear that the results of this Splatfest will determine what Splatoon 3’s main campaign will be like.

Personally I think Chaos winning would probably provide the most unique and interesting story, although Order could provide an interesting story too.

AGGHH it’s so hard to choose.

Considering what happened with Smash 4 and the fact that this is E3, I think it is a safe bet that we’ll see 2 fighters announced, one for immediate download and another for later down the line around August or September.

And at this point, I don’t care who we get, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. As long as what Sakurai and the rest of the Smash developers are able to cook up is fun, I’ll play it.

This is hands down within my top 5 favorite games of all time, which is definitely saying something. XC2 is such an amazing game and it deserves every bit of success it has received.

Even though it is very unlikely, I hope we get a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 true sequel with the same characters and world. I am satisfied with what we got from the base game, DLC, and prequel game, but a guy can dream.

It would be crazy if they tossed in a trailer for Mario Kart Tour, and then at the end of it there was a teaser for Mario Kart 9.

I mean, it’s called Mario Kart Tour for a reason.

And assuming they never add proper online multiplayer, I think it’s fair to predict that we’ll eventually get time trial ghost races to some capacity. Super Mario Run has some of its own which provides most of the replay value, and I’m sure Nintendo is aware of this themselves and has it planned somewhere along the pipeline already.

The year is 2023, you walk into a screening of Detective Pikachu 2 feeling pretty excited to see a live-action Pokemon movie on the big screen for the first time in 4 years. As the movie begins to start, you are greeted with a black screen, and hear the words, “Uh, meow?”
