Loved this game for a few months then it just got so stale
Glad I never spent any money on it.
A game that relied so heavily on teamwork but limited communication and every lobby was lone wolf selfish team mates, just sets itself up for failure

I got it but it struggles on the switch. I do miss the old style of gameplay with the almost side scrolling diorama like puzzles
This one is more of a goofy 3rd person action, it's fun, but I don't love it as much as the other Lego games

The shooter on Xbox was one of the most underrated games of all time

Mega evolution should be added as separate Pokémon. Break the whole "stops at three"
Some are the best designs in Pokémon and awesome. Would love to have mega Pokémon chillen in my home (would also love bdsp support in my home)

As a teacher (twenty-something) so not boomer energy, I can confirm every year kids are turning more and more into tablet and video game machines with little physical activity
It's like there's this huge gap between"parent pay for top level training and coaching" which makes the top level athletes better than ever, and the "my screen is a baby sitter" kids that are softer than my pillow

Loved this game, story was great and gameplay was a blast too

I was hesitant because I didn't like the aesthetic, and the low end graphics didn't help
But the gameplay is fun, and it's not bad at all

Competitive Pokémon has always seemed like it's for people who love spreadsheets. I've never been into it. Pokémon to me has always been about catching Pokémon and going on a little adventure. Love that this game is about catching primarily. Because shiny hunting is also the worst, and I don't understand people doing that either lol

It's a fun idea but the setting isn't my cup of tea. It seems primed for an African safari theme

I remember when I could trade at all... my wife is banned for going on like 8 days now because her game crashed when we were local trading. A cubone for a phanpy! Like why would we scam over those lol

No but it really comes down an aesthetic thing. I like the idea of the game, but the feudal Japan and lack of brightness aren't my cup of tea.
I'd like it to feel more like African safari, or look more like Pokémon snap (I get the graphics couldn't be as sharp but those colors POP)

Honestly a game like this could be super cool except instead of bullets shoot tranquilizers or "poke-energy" or something and when the health goes down you catch them

Alolan exeggutor is one of my favorite Pokémon, but I guess I can accept this tree.

@SwitchForce I followed all the on screen instructions and it never mentioned it. Luckily I knew about the acnh island transfer. But it did not state any of that during the process.

I didn't realize sword and shield didn't cloud save until I couldn't get jirachi in bdsp. When I switched over to an OLED I lost everything. It was too disheartening to start over so I sold sword. Now I'm upset I'm missing out on these lol

Never understand the hate for this guy. Nintendo life is always so positive and now it's like we're gate keeping Pokémon and spewing hatred. Cmon guys, another person who loves Pokémon got screwed over pretty hard, weird time to try and drag them down further huh?

I like animal crossing but don't wanna lost access if I cancel, but I'm not a retro gamer.
I love my switch/ps5 combo though. Switch is the better value, but ps5 have the truly next level experiences.
My switch is pretty much a handheld only device, while ps5 dominates the TV. (Ratchet and clank is one of the best games in years)
Edit: the real debate right now is when Lego Star Wars comes out, is handheld enough to offset what the ps5 version will offer

I went looking into the comments to see who I agreed with, realized I didn't know who I would put in my top 5, got too overwhelmed and can't do it.
So much easier to choose a bottom 5, what's that say about me?

Pick a theme and go with it and it won't be obvious who is missing.
My dream would be a Marvel smash, but more realistic would be a Pokémon one. Same Pokémon game progression (catching, battles, gyms, team rocket clones) but the battles are smash style instead of turn based. Maybe a party of 4 instead of 6 and use the Dpad to switch?

I wish this was an option sometimes, a lot of my happy home paradises I set up like them in their natural habitat for the villagers that are designed in a "natural way"
Like Kyle lives in Africa, Bianca in some cold mountains, Octavian in a coral reef etc.
Doesn't apply to all villagers (for instance claus doesn't look natural at all lol) but for some it'd be cool

Unite is fun but ranked is frustrating. Half the time my team mates seem to have one brain cell and I have no idea how they're ranked so high. I'm a pretty decent charizard main and I'll get 250 and 15 kills and at least 1 or two dreadnaws pretty regular and that only wins the game half the time.
So I usually play quick matches but I hate shivre city lol

Let my paths go all the way to the edge so there's not jagged green lines by my beach.
Also let me put buildings on paths.

I love the home design tools out of the options but to be specific I like the way happy home paradise is set up.
On my island I always wished I could have more than 10 villagers, and wished I could customize the shops.
Animal crossing on switch 2 should merge the concepts of happy home paradise and the base game.
Let me have 100 villagers, customize everything, and have more lively common areas!
Also I love the tropical aesthetic and vacation resort theme, let's stick with it

I like the art style, I got so tired of fortnite but I loved the way it looked. Too many shooters are so bland looking going for "hyper realistic"

This could be a fun pick up. Not every shooter has to reinvent the wheel. I liked the simpler days of halo 3

Always thought a Pokémon game with smash combat would be great, or another theme and bring back the single player mode.
Would never happen but a marvel/Disney/Star Wars or any combination would be so much fun

Smash bros is one of my favorite all time series and I've always wondered why the space was so empty of AAA games like it.
I mean there's 10,000 games that play like mortal kombat
Make a marvel brawler and I'll give them all my money

Acnh is so much better in handheld and is truly the reason I upgraded

With the addition of greedent, my least favorite eveelution, and the inclusion of my all time least favorite mr. Mime, it's only a matter of time before they add trubbish to spite me further
Overall super fun game though, blastoise is my main

It's a fun roster for sure, game has become one of my favorite for when I have 10-20 minutes

I can't fish in animal crossing with the pro controller
So it's a handheld only for the most part
