Re: YouTube Is Working With Nintendo To Make Its App Available On Switch 2

The fact that they’re so behind the ball on this very simple feature that both Xbox and PS have offered for generations, in addition to their anti-consumer changes to their “family-friendly” game sharing for family members (what a complete disaster the virtual game card update was for me)… is atrocious and the beginning of the end for Nintendo… the Switch 2 is the last console I’ll purchase from them tbh, unless they hard-pivot.

Can you PLEASE! also add video streaming apps like Netflix, HBO Max, Peacock, Prime, etc.?

(I know Hulu already exists but I boycotted Disney following the whole Kimmel free-speech incident).

I use my Switch when I travel on planes and it would be SO CONVENIENT if I could toggle between Nintendo games and television/movies… thanks 🙏

My airline does not have screens built into the seat 💺 heads…

I am very much looking forward to this, and February is my birthday month, so thank you!

I didn’t care much for MM when it originally released as I was still quite young, and I didn’t enjoy much, the time mechanic… however, I’ve come a long way over the decades since, playing Dead Rising and such. Also, the N64 NSO’s Suspend Point feature will very much come in handy for this, too…

Re: Nintendo Is "A Jewel" In The Industry And Has The Best First-Party Pedigree, Says Xbox Boss

@TheFullAndy I don’t think Game pass gets as many subscribers as you think. I know a lot of people, myself included who don’t even pay for their game pass subscription because their game sharing partner has it, so they have it as well. Also with game sharing, I NEVER pay full price for any game, whether it’s retail at launch or already deep discounted on the store. If my game sharing partner has a similar interest in it which 95% of the time he does, we split it via PayPal or Venmo.

Nintendo may have the Switch tax but at least they make their partners money... I don’t see how Xbox is doing any of their devs any favors financially, when I practically always have a library of +- 120 games installed for next to no money.
