I’m a bit of an odd case:

I am what is known as, in the Xbox community, an achievement hunter and belong to trueachievements.com and track my gamerscore, completion percentage, etc.

Switch doesn’t have any sort of trophy system so I can play games on it without having to needlessly obsess over every little detail and challenge.

While I prefer to play a multiformat game on the superior hardware (Xbox), I will be swayed more toward the Switch version if the list of achievements is absurd (i.e. Wolfenstein II). The portability factor is an added bonus too, for sure, obviously.

@SpacedDuck also maybe your PC wasn’t as high high end as you claim if it can’t run a redux of games from 2010/2013 🙄

@SpacedDuck Well, both of these games are pretty old and dated, so if there were any performance issues it was likely just due to the fact that the games released a long time ago and the development of the titles didn’t age too well, even in the redux. I completed Metro Redux 100% all achievements on the Xbox One and love the series. I hope this is true. It’s one of the best FPS’s from a story telling perspective and would be an awesome addition to the Switch library, IMO.

I’ll be noshing on leftover Halloween candy and playing Luigi’s Mansion 3.

As well as two trips to the movie theatre for Parasite and Motherless Brooklyn, firing up the Xbox for Modern Warfare, Gears of War 4, and maybe some Forza Horizon 4.

Anyone pick this up yet? I am curious how the servers perform (lag severity) on Switch. I am reluctant to trust an online FPS on a Nintendo platform, no offense.

Zelda Dungeon has the entire walkthrough (dungeon’s, collectibles, etc) for the new Link’s Awakening Switch Remaster, if you didn’t want to sit around on NintendoLife for forever waiting for them to copy/paste it over.

I don’t think Alan Wake was considered a AAA title (although I loved it to death!) and I also don’t remember there being destructible environments either, but I hope you’re all right about this one!

All I care about is Banjo in Smash and hopefully a new Banjo-Threeie (not a N n B sequel) game, preferably on both the Xbox One and the Switch... Gamerscore comes first, always. Portability second... unless the previously ‘leaked’ rumors are true and they announce that Xbox will be playable on your Switch as of (insert date)... then it will be the best of both worlds and won’t even matter!

They had me at ‘new Yooka-Laylee game.’

They lost me at 2D... the last thing the platforming genre needs is more 2D titles.

Good. The game cards are stupid. Inconvenient to load/store, delicate and a waste of space and a waste of manufacturing cost.

I’ll be getting this digitally on the Xbox One most likely anyhow (assuming there aren’t any Mein Leiben achievements).

Other than Smash, I play mostly Mario Tennis Aces...

In large part due to all of the added content that freshens it up every month.

At least two new boards... preferably more, and some new playable characters w/ custom die.

While you’re at it, release a new kingdom or two for Super Mario Odyssey as I also had my hopes up that there would be some additional content for that other than random Mario costumes that aren’t worth the massive coin grind to buy them in-game.

Already played and unlocked the full 1,000 GS on Xbox One. I'll pass on the Switch edition. Not worth playing for any other reason than the Gamerscore.

I'm going to be torn between the Xbox One version and earning the 1,000 or more Gamerscore and getting the Switch version and "FINISHing HIM" on the go.

I may have to pick up Firewatch again. Loved it on the Xbox One.

Mario Tennis Aces - December Update! New Co-op Challenge!

I’ve been waiting for this patch for what feels like forever.

how about a new co-op challenge for the holidays? that would be nice seeing as the last one expired almost two months ago.

Excited for Koopa Paratroopa. Please add a new Co-Op Challenge with new unlockable accessories / character color schemes too! I loved the Boo event and was hoping that would continue regularly!

After it’s fixed, I assume we will also immediately get a new co-op challenge, live with new accessories / colors for someone else??

I hope the buyer opens all of the packs and gets absolute trash cards. What a waste of money...

I honestly don’t want to know anything more about Smash. Leave us some surprises please!
