I just watched the Direct. Wow.

When Nintendo goes 110%, they remind everybody why they’re the best. The game is astounding because it’s so full of content. There’s without question I’m buying it Day 1.

They’re always on display at Wal-Mart. California here.

This is one of the more lackluster JRPGs I've played. I wouldn't buy it physical.

@dugan Thanks for the reply. It does sound like a more relaxed game (maybe even more relaxed than Stardew Valley because there’s no rush to try to finish everything before the in-game day ends?) and I’m definitely open to a new experience, especially games that you can come back to again and again. I look forward to see what all the hype is about!

I haven't played any AC game so I'm excited for the new one.

But a question: If the game unfolds in real time, does one normally run out of things to do within, say, one or two hours straight of play time (based on previous games)?

If they were actually confident about their final product, they'd be more transparent. It might be a good idea to wait for reviews.

@Kal_ Install the movie? I've never heard of that. You mean for the Wii to just play the disc as a DVD player would?

I would think there would be copyright issues if some sort of installation was involved. Because what would stop the renter from taking that same disc and installing the same movie on, say, another Wii? Weird!

Still playing through FF8 on the PS Vita. (I started about 3 weeks ago but my save file got corrupted before entering Lunatic Pandora on “Disc 3.”)

But I’m getting FF7 for sure. I haven’t played it since high school (mid-2000s), so I forgot most of what happened in the game.

Because of college and graduate school, I fell out of gaming. 1 year into my (then) new job, I was looking to get back into playing video games so, having loved Nintendo as a kid in addition to those brilliant ads for the Nintendo Switch that seemed to fit my new lifestyle (and it did, still does to this day), I knew I had to purchase the system on Day 1. Never looked back since. I look forward to its even brighter future.

It would be nice if Pokemon Bank were to get incorporated to the game before release. Not a month or so later.

@rjejr Die-hard fans, I guess. I tend to order the "Blue" version since that's the first one I owned. Exclusive 'mons don't really matter to me since I have family and friends who tend to get the "Red" version. We can trade easily.

Hopefully getting back to Hollow Knight (Switch). I got stuck in Crystal Peak a couple of months ago. ;(

I just wish that the director and co-writer's oeuvre isn't such a mixed bag. I enjoyed "Goosebumps" but found "Monsters vs. Aliens" and "Shark Tale" to be mediocre. I'll remain optimistic, but the trailers do not hint toward something deeper, something even remotely interested in exploring the lore of Pokemon.

@Kainbrightside I'm certain we will. Hopefully more than one at a time in the future.
