Re: Scathing Report Suggests All Is Not Well At Team17 Following NFT Backtrack

@Matroska Brainwashed? For stating that an article about an uproar should give a basic description explaining the uproar? Funny you call me brainwashed while being a posterchild of groupthink with that attitude. All I said and it would go the other way too if this was an article that was 100% for NFTs without explaining any reason to love them, is to just state the ire in question on the uproar. Basic jouranlism. Unless you are preaching to a choir, aka groupthink

@Zebetite groupthink been around a long time, you might have limited experiences in life which may explain your take on it being some niche term. Regardless my categorization the article does a disservice to basic journalism to not include a short paragraph to why the uproar. The article assumes every reader is against NFTs with no further discussion.. aka groupthink

@Paej13 I agree, it is a joy to be in this world. The game isn't designed to be super hard and the in game economy is really generous. It is like having fun at an amusement park with a few scary rides thrown in. Only wish the text chat dialog wasn't so stutter like. Click click click for each word it seems. Other games have done dialog much more easy on the brain. Like Fire Emblem or Octopath.

Re: Fire Emblem Heroes Has Generated Nearly $1 Billion In Revenue After Five Years

@ReaperMelia I don't really get the pay to win part. Yeah the gambling to get the characters you want because it is random is the trap. But they give you a lot for free and paying a little bit of money to boost things isn't terrible. I don't know much about the monthly game pass but seems like many companies have gone down that route in a way to keep fresh content going. I rather have a full game price and some DLC instead without the trickery so I do agree with you there.

@ElStormo You say they get 24 for every 100 stolen. That is wack data anyway. Why don't you steal anything else that you can't copy? Are you a wimp and scared of getting caught? Go steal gasoline or cash from a bank?

Why not? oh, you only steal when you feel you can get away with it but ignore that you are stealing from someone else effort. You don't care since you never create anything of value right?

You are just a lowly thief. I don't care if the company is rich or poor, you are stealing from creative people yet you probably have no problem telling people to pay all their taxes and fees to governments that are parasites and don't create anything of value.

If it is ok to not pay for games, music, etc, then it should be ok to not pay for ANYTHING correct?
Now go and bury your head in more illogic to defend your lazy thieving ways.

Re: Poll: So, Do You Think Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Will Actually Release In 2022?

ChakraStomps

It'll come out sooner than people think. They were going to just keep adding DLC but needed to make a few adjustments in the gameplay. That is to mean not a brand new game, just stuff that couldn't be in DLC. So the overall quality checking will be way lower than if making a brand new game from scratch.
Whatever they don't have complete they'll box up for DLC so I feel an early summer release could happen

Re: Best Of 2021: Retro Nintendo Games Cost Too Much, But Nostalgia Is Expensive

ChakraStomps

awwww you mean all the modern free to play garbageware isn't so great that we have so many people respect the good old days and pay a premium?

It's not worth it for Nintendo to do print runs of everything old so a few players can grab them in bargain bins. They protect their IP so maybe someday they bring it back the way they want to.

Nintendo only makes games so they have to protect their stuff more than the other companies.

Re: Commodore 64 Games Are Being Teased For Nintendo Switch

My vast C64 collection was the only system I ever gave away.. did it when I moved on to an Amiga and gave to a friend of a friend to help them out.
I pirated so many games back then that that was the game.. just aquiring everything.
Now I never pirate anything since you should reward the devs for making something you enjoy and I hardly have the time to play the games I buy, let alone use up more time to pirate games that I would have even less time than without them
