With Christmas just around the corner, there's a fair chance you'll get something nice from Santa – and if it happens to be one of these Original Stitch Pokémon shirts, then you've clearly been a very good boy or girl this year.
The lovely people at Original Stitch got in touch with our very own Alex Olney – perhaps sensing his love of fancy clothing – and asked if he wanted one for free. His reply, as if you couldn't guess, was in the affirmative.
As you can see from the video above, the shirt is pretty great, even if it's not particularly well-suited to the rather chilly weather we're experiencing in Great Britain at this current moment in time.

You might also spot in this video that we now have our own digital store for purchasing eShop credit and games. Use the code 'XMAS10' and you'll save 10% on Nintendo eShop codes before the year meets its end, and you'll be supporting us as a site in the process.

Hey! I love Miami Vice too!!! Wait.....what?
I love the designs that Original Stitch has come up with for these shirts, but they are WAY too expensive. I get that producing custom fabric is expensive, but I don’t feel the need to pay $100 for a single shirt.
I'm still yet to buy one as I have concerns about whether they will be the right fit, and I'm reluctant to spend over US$300 or so on shirts to find out. I do intend to grab a few at some stage though as I typically wear dress shirts to work and prefer them even in social situations, and I've always loved the concept of smart/formal/understated Pokémon attire that one could wear from casual gatherings to work/weddings.
I did buy a few masks from them though, among them being Koffing and Weezing for obvious reasons.
So a few PokeBall buttons make any shirt a overpriced pokemon shirt? Or are bananas and leaves some new generation one I've never seen or something? I'm quite confused..
I can't see it, is it behind the guy wearing the bright Hawaiian shirt?
It's very difficult to notice that the shirt has anything to do with Pokemon.
I used to believe the claim that we Americans had the worst fashion sense in the world. Tacky, trashy, etc. But then I went to Britain...
It's a fruity floral Hawaiian shirt that has nothing to do with Pokemon.
@CowCatcher sadly, I don't think @AlexOlney is selling his adorable cat
however, I'd be happy to settle for more cat pics in the future
its a steal for sure, haha.
$100!? But it doesn't even look like there's many Pokémon-themed things on it.
It's a lot of money just to look like someone's dad...
I really want one, but it cost the cool $100 for me.
Hhhhhhellllllo there lovely peeeeeeeop- wait a minute, Alex didn't write this article. Nice clothes though.
They have some absolutely lovely fabrics and designs... but that price is so outlandish that I couldn't justify ever buying one. A shame, really.
Are they basing the price off of how complicated the patterns are, like they do at Dan Flashes?
Wise words from Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) about Hawaiian shirts: "How do you know the difference between a good one and a cheap one? The good ones match the pattern in the front when closed."
@UglyCasanova I'm disappointed they didn't even use nanab berries instead of real bananas. Aside from the buttons, there are a few Tropiuses in the pattern but it's really hard to see.
That's odd, YouTube didn't show me the button to skip this ad. Also the guy really looked like Alex.
Honestly if I saw someone wearing that I would simply assume that they are a fan of fruity Hawaiian shirts and nothing more.
I honestly don’t care how expensive it is. The designs are so nice on these shirts. Most of them have a subtle nod to Pokemon that you might not notice at first glance, but fans can get an extra kick out of seeing their favorite Pokemon on the design. I have 3 of them at this point and I definitely see myself buying more, especially when Unova and Kalos come to the service.
