Him taking a pay cut instead of laying employees off tells you a lot about who he was as a person and a leader.

This is a disappointing move from Nintendo, but it is not surprising considering the state of the game industry. The 25% tariff on Japan and tariffs on other countries that Nintendo likely uses is going to have an affect on their bottom line, and of course the customers will pay for it.

I’ll be downloading THPS 3+4 on Friday. Switch 2 has been giving me GameCube vibes (in a good way) so playing a remade GameCube launch title will be fun.

I pre-ordered the Switch 2 version already!

I’m glad I sold off my Series X to help fund my Switch 2. I am certain that 3rd parties will stop porting games to Xbox unless they are given a Gamepass deal, and I predict that the price of Gamepass will rise soon.

Looks interesting, and the AI use isn’t a dealbreaker for me here since it is for the optional voice acting and they disclosed how it was used.

Switch 2 is loaded with racers like Mario Kart World, F Zero GX, Fast Fusion and Kirby Air Riders, so I’ll pass on sonic racing. I’ll watch the animation though!

Played some Mario Strikers this morning, and it was a blast. Besides that I'll be chipping away at Bowser's Fury and Undertale with some Splatoon 3 matches sprinkled in. I am looking forward to THPS 3+4 at the end of the week!

That’s a shame since I’ve been looking forward to John Romero’s return to FPS. Hopefully they find a way to release something in some way even if it’s a smaller scale game than planned.

I think I’ve logged about 15 hours, but it will be much more over time since Mario Kart is a “forever game” for me and my daughter

This post gave me a flashback to being in game rental stores as a child! Never actually chose this game to rent, but I’d give it a shot.

I wasn’t going to pick up a memory card yet, but Walmart was selling 256gb cards for $35. I’m usually fine with deleting and redownloading games as needed.

I’ve apparently been blessed with the attitude of not caring too much about graphics. The games look great to me as much as people on the internet would tell me otherwise.

I prefer that the games are on the cart for storage purposes. Memory cards for the switch 2 are not large enough to accommodate many large 50+gb games. Besides that, it doesn’t matter to me if we have to download the game to play off the internal memory, other consoles have been doing the same since the 360 generation.

I try not to look too far into the future. I’m excited for Bananza, pokemon, hyrule warriors, and Metroid Prime 4. I trust Nintendo to keep the games coming steadily after that

I got the Mario kart bundle and only purchased Cyberpunk 2077. Those are high quality games that offer many hours of fun, so it looks like most gamers are still playing through those like I am.

I was already excited to play this on day one, but the Pauline and game share with switch 1 features makes it a perfect game to also play with my daughter!

As long as I get gold I consider it won. Even champion sports teams lose games during the season!

The racing is as good as it has ever been. People criticize the open world as “empty” but I think it’s fun to explore and look at. I’d contrast it with Forza Horizon 5 where the open world had so many objective markers and other stuff going on that I’d frequently feel overwhelmed and put off by it.

I bought a copy on Xbox, but I sold off the console for Switch 2. I’ll be double dipping soon cuz I want to Sonic Boom on the go.

An OLED screen would’ve increased the price even more, and who knows if Nintendo would’ve been able to produce enough Switch 2s with OLED screens to meet the demand.

I’ve been in love with mine since I picked it up on launch day.

As a 31 year old man, this hits my nostalgia enough to buy it.

I was hoping for Hulk, but I’ll take She-Hulk! Looking to be a good year for 2d beatemups with this and Scott Pilgrim.

I seriously doubt new Xbox hardware will be successful. I’ve purchased every Xbox since the 360 and accumulated over 100,000 gamerscore (not bragging but that’s a lot of playtime and money spent on their ecosystem), but with their new business model I sold off my series X and i’m sticking to Nintendo and PC. I’m sure other Xbox fans will not purchase the next one knowing they can play Xbox games anywhere.

I’ll pick up the Peach set to complete with my daughter
