Today sees the release of the latest Paw Patrol video game from Outright Games, and there's even a launch trailer to prove it.
Called PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls, and definitely not a movie like that title might suggest, the game is a 3D platform adventure that lets players take on the role of their favourite pups like Chase, Skye, Marshall, and Liberty. Players need to use their unique abilities and "next-level" gadgets to explore locations inspired by PAW Patrol: The Movie. Ah, so that's where the name comes from.

If the new trailer has you sold, here's a list of key features that you can expect to enjoy in the game:
● TO ADVENTURE CITY! – Explore all-new locations from PAW Patrol: The Movie
● BE THE PUPS – Including Chase, Marshall, Skye, and new city pup Liberty
● MISSION PAW – Save the day in amazing rescues and bonus missions
● COLLECT THEM ALL – Unlock reward badges for collecting all the pup treats
● PLAY MINIGAMES – Like Pup Pup Boogie, in solo or local co-op mode
You can download the game from the Switch eShop today for $39.99 / £34.99. As ever, make sure to let us know if you'll be giving this a go in the comments.

before all the coments slagging this off. my kids have the previous two games from OG Games. yes they are simple and to be honest bloody awfull games but my kids played both to death loved them to bits. So im guessing that makes them a success. but they are for young paw patrol fan
couch co-pup mode is the greatest/worst pun I've ever heard. well done script writers.
You're barking mad if you don't give a woof about hero puppers and their pawesome adventures.
@Anguspuss Same. My 5 year old daughter loves them, and doesn’t seem to tire of them either. They’re great entry points to gaming. This will be a purchase in our house I suspect.
@The_New_Butler There is, his name is Mario. I have both the earlier Paw Patrol games, and they barely get a look-in since the eldest discovered Odyssey and 3D World.
My kids have the first 2 on not only the PS4 but also their Switch. They love them, and as my older daughter has problems with sight and complex button pressing, she is able to play these. As there are less and less children games for consoles anymore...some of the Mario titles are complex for new gamers as well, it's glad to see that some are still made, granted...they're not the best for adults. I hope OG can continue to make some good platform titles for kids in the future too, and I hope that with their games selling enough, that the games can be made better. I miss the old days where all TV Kid popular shows and movies were made into games...whatever happened ( read an article over a year ago about Activision bringing some back) to more of the old nickelodeon titles being re-released...we got the Spongebob one, but where are the others that they talked about (Rugrats, Jimmy Neutron and more)?
@vyseofhr and when they get to 10 i bet we can both easily sell them to some other poor bugger to suffer them with their kids
Very fun game, I highly recommend it! Although I’ve purchased it for my Son, I ended up playing it with him and it’s very fun. Reminds me of the Golden Nickelodeon N64 Days!
This would be better as a dog fighting game.
You need to prowl around the neighbourhood looking for accessible pets to use as bait that when fed to your pupper levels them up ready for the next death match.

@Iggy-Koopa wahoo quality!
I thought people had cancelled the police dog because it was a police officer
that police dog looks suspicious and dangerous
YES!!! Day one buy.
I don't know about the games, but the show is probably the best on Nick Jr right now. Right now, not period, Blue's Clues will always be my favorite.
But I've gotta say, the movie's graphics are actually really good.
My 5 and 4 year olds love the first one and they are actually amazing games to introduce gaming. If you have toddlers I couldn’t recommend these more
Yo, I will get this PAW Patrol game. 😀
I can see this as a $19.99 game, but $39.99? That's extortion.
@HotGoomba
Don't forget if Blaze and the Monster Truck from Nickelodeon will be on multi consoles this October 2021.
@JLPick
Kudos to Outright Games as publisher who still willing to publish games for kids (and teenagers) based on kids cartoon series or movies such as PAW Patrol, Ben 10 Rebooted, Spirits, Hotel Transylvania 3, etc.
Don't forget to check Blaze & the Monster Truck on multi released consoles this October 2021.
Down the road I'll get it for my little one
So now we’re promoting shovelware? The Switch really needs a new powerful upgrade and some higher quality of games.
@Anti-Matter Oh Blaze is trash, but it's ok if you like it.
@JSDude1 Shovelware is on every console, don't use shovelware as an ass excuse to make a console upgrade. That's literally the worst reason.
Not saying that there SHOULDN'T be a Switch hardware upgrade. But the reason you gave out? Garbage.
@JSDude1
I don't think PAW Patrol games are shovelwares.
I have interest with those games.
Just because the games are not AAA it doesn't mean they are shovelwares.
And if the games are shovelwares, who cares ?
There are some peoples still prefer shovelwares than AAA games.
@The_New_Butler
I don't even think PAW Patrol games are rubbish.
The last title Mighty Pups was actually pretty good. The game was playable and easy enough for kids and everyone to play.
I will get this PAW Patrol game for myself as 36 years old adult male gamer.
Kudos to Outright Games as publisher to publish kids games from Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network cartoon series. 👍
@Anti-Matter "I will get this PAW Patrol game for myself as 36 years old adult male gamer".
You do you, dude.....
I'm all for games based on kid's franchises, but at least make them good. A lot of them are mobile-level garbage.
Me after seeing this article:
Why is this even news here, I'm pretty sure everyone on this site is above the age range of this game so who even cares about it.
Me after reading comments:
Well then... I was completely wrong and plenty of people actually care about this game.
Well played, Nintendo Life, I guess this called for a hat tipping moment.
lol
@Iggy-Koopa
I have observed the gameplay of all PAW Patrol games from YouTube.
The first one was not really convincing me for being 2.5 D style.
But the Mighty Pups and Adventure City were decent enough for my qualify.
They were not really like cheap mobile games. Sometimes simple games like that felt more enjoyable to play than AAA games.
I will pick both Mighty Pups and Adventure City ASAP.
@Goat_FromBOTW yeah, it puzzles me as well. Especially Nessisonett getting pulled is odd. He is a very frequent poster and normally I give his comments a like. Strange...
I Hope Nintendo Life reviews this game - I've considered buying the other Paw Patrol games for my kids, but I'm unsure if they'll actually enjoy them or if they're bad imitations of better choices. (They do love Paw Patrol.)
