@PlywoodStick I'm not taking it out of context. Even with the whole quote it is still a weird thing to complaint about.

It is a perfect example of what is wrong with some reviews (like the one from ign) people focus on things the console is not trying to do instead of talking about what it is trying to do.

I think citing "what others might want" is not a good practice either because you don't know what others want, you only know what you want and that should be the focus of any opinion.

Sadly this have been happening for a while. No a Switch exclusive problem but all Nintendo consoles. I hope developers find a way to make prices equal on all platforms. People won't easily understand the reason behind this

Retro City Rampage is one of the two games on my 3DS library that make me feel like I lost my money. No a bad game, but meh

It looks nice. I know indiedevs make this kind of games because they like to play them. I don't see how this coming to Switch influences the possibility of other games like COD, Battlefield or any other mindless shooters people like so much, also coming to the console. Can't wrap my head around the connections people make sometimes.

This caught my attention since the reveal. have fond memories of bomberman on NES. It'll be looking to pick this one up when I get a Switch.

I don't know if it is just me or what but it seems like all over the web people are going crazy about the Switch, except for this site. I think I haven't found a community more poisonous and negative about everything Nintendo than this one. Weird enough, this site have "nintendo" in its name.

They went for a style too similar to Corpse Bride even with the jazzy sondtrack. That take away the originality, but other than that, it looks like a fun game.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE What Switch needs above all else is a good amount of fun games and of those is getting a lot, whether they are 2D or 3D is not that important.

As an indie fan and nintendo fan I can't be more happy with this lineup of games. Well, give me a new Earthbound/Metroid and Shantae and I'll be all set.

I couldn't get a pre-order in time, so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get the system day one. Nevertheless I will be looking to Snipperclips, BOTW, 1-2 Switch on the coming months.

Happy for the current player. I get my mobile gaming time from Fire Emblem Heroes at the moment, but this update is good news.

Funny how the youtube comments all focus on Hard Mode being part of the DLC. Haven't they seen this is an Expansion Pass. Not like they're putting part of the story behind a paywall, it is "additional content" which is always great.

Even if my girlfriend is not much into gaming, this is one game that caught her attention. We are looking forward to it.

@Kunteper Because he secretly love everything Nintendo but is a very cranky and negative person in real life. I got a theory that he works for Nintendo life and is here to generate traffic with his negative comments but who knows. He's been doing that for as long as I have been on this site and the moderators support him, so it's usually better to just ignore his comments.

Getting this day one. From the day they announced I can only think of Spring Man debut on the next Smash

Switch have been built in a way that they can upgrade parts of the system without selling a whole new console. They can make new joy-con with different buttons configurations, they can sell a new tablet with upgraded power and a better screen, they can sell a new dock that offer extra power or they can sell a mini Switch that is more portable but plays all Switch games. Possibilities are many with this design, so I don't see them making another double screen thing or a different or starting a new line anytime soon. They have all they need with this line.

Haven't pick my 3DS up since the Switch presentation, no good sale to make me come back.

By the way, the whole interview with Kimishima is worth reading.

I'm hopeful that Switch will be both, my new handheld system replacing my current 3DS and my new home console. I don't feel the need right now for a different portable device unless it is a virtual console only thing.

About VR, I'm in the minority that couldn't care less about it.

I'm enjoying the game so far, even if I don't have any luck with the summoning. I got a lot of 4stars but the only 5star is a healer, so pretty useless.

Maybe it helps that I'm not a fan of the series so I don't have the main games to compare. I enjoy the quick battles and small maps and I'm considering getting some of the 3DS titles now. So I guess Nintendo's plan is working. Remember this mobiles game doesn't suppose to be full title, they are just promotion for the main entries. So if you judge it like that, you'll find it pretty good.

@Locke159 You can upgrade the 2 stars characters later on. In theory you can make them 5 stars, but it won't be cheap.

@daveh30 Don't really see a reason why someone would want a charging grip, unless they plan to be playing more than 20h straight
