Any sale is good news, but a sale focused on single played games for those who don’t like people would be great
Don't play multiplayer or download games so this is useless to me
@Mattock1987 i also don’t like people so I like your comment
Looks like I need to teach my seven cats how to operate a controller.
@Mattock1987 I wouldn't write this sale off so quickly - some of my favourite single-player experiences on Switch are often marketed as multiplayer games. Minecraft, Descenders, Tony Hawk's, Grid, Burnout Paradise to name a few.
@Friendly people are the worst. Sometimes. Not the ones that make video games.
@N64-ROX that’s a good point, a lot of games are good with single player and multiplayer experiences, I’ll probably end up buying something from it
In a perfect world, a game would have both good single and multiplayer gameplay.
I picked up Doom Eternal Deluxe edition since it was finally cheap enough for me without ever planning on touching MP.
@SteamEngenius I got doom 2016 in the previous sale.. I'm eager to start.. but still have to finish all quake DLC on the hard lvl! hehehe
I only bought 4 games yesterday from last week's sale! Although not a multi player fan myself, I fear the worst for my wallet. As a few others have already pointed out, some of these aren't exactly multi player in the way that overcooked is
@Mattock1987 Sonic Origins is on sales now, that's a good single player game. You got 3 days to buy it at $36 then it revert back to its ripoff price of $45.
I could do with warioware discount. Is that rabbids party game worth anything?
@Serpenterror thanks for the info- I’d still argue that’s quite a lot considering 3 of the 4 games it offers are already available on Switch free with the NSO service
@Bunkerneath same , I'd play Mario kart online occasionally if it was free but I'm not going to pay for the subscription just to play that one game now & then
Does the code work on euro-based eshop cards as well?
For anyone with fond memories of Buzz on the PS2 then I can recommend the Trivial Pursuit games. Unfortunately the rounds aren't as innovative as Buzz but the game style is similar enough that it is definitely worth the £6 asking price.
Aaaaand... Australia gets none of the discounts on Nintendo-published games.
I don't understand why the same sale had discounts for the Diablo Prime Evil collection, and Europe only got Diablo 3 discount...
@Kiz3000 I still bust out the Buzz controllers occasionally. The quiz games are pretty good, but my favourites are the Buzz Junior games which were a series of mini games/party games controlled with the Buzz controllers. They are for kids, so are far too easy against CPU players, but against other players they are great fun.
@dmcc0 Jungle Buzz was the most played between my brothers and I for sure. Elephant Baseball was by far the most competitive we ever got with a videogame ever. Good times
Why are so many games are designed around multi player, being either harder or not as fun in single player. I'm sure most people play video games on their own.
The only thing that I am interested that is on sale is the Expansion Pass for Ultimate Alliance 3 as this is the first time it has been on sale.
I've seen Warioware cheaper physically, got my copy for £25. I would like Monster Hunter Rise but don't think I have enough time to invest in the game.
@PeteW yeah, it’s such a bummer. Most of my friends don’t play video games and this who do do not play Nintendo.
I just bought Axiom Verge 2 for 25% off. Pretty sure that's not a multiplayer game! XD
My point is, for those complaining... there's single player stuff on sale too. And big sale's come along fairly regularly. No need to panic.
Why aren't the prices in euro's? Only the english use pounds and most of them are not into Nintendo, unlike the french or germans.
@StAmbrosius tbh NintendoLife is a English Website.
@wazlon Warioware is GREAT! We play a lot! Nice when you can compare the scores with your friends!
