Re: Review: The Sinking City - A Solid Port For This Lovecraftian Detective Mystery

@Coach_A ever since Dom took over this site, it went a bit down hill. Way more "payed reviews", where games who buy ads get high review scores and so on.
On topic, I wish I knew if I should buy this game. Just don't know if it's for me... Loved Eternal Darkness but didn't touch Alan Wale after playing it for 10 minutes.... Gonna watch some gameplay videos I guess.

Re: Talking Point: Ring Fit Adventure Is A Thing, But Is It Your Sort Of Thing?

I LOVE this idea! Battling by doin squats? That might even get me to do those ! I love that Nintendo is doing this and making this step to make exercise more accessible for people that dont like to exercise (wii fit was just an exercise app, which didn't change the experience of exercising in my opinion, it didn't make it "fun"). I think I'll buy this!

Re: Yo-Kai Watch 4 Will No Longer Be A Nintendo Switch Exclusive

Barbara001

That's okay, we got a lot of other games that were developed originally for the "bigger consoles", let's give something back 😊. Can't wait for the release of 1 on the switch, didn't finish it on the 3ds. I hope the Japanese version supports English, then I don't have to wait that long 😊.

Re: Feature: Beamdog On Bringing Baldur's Gate And Classic D&D RPGs To Switch

Barbara001

I played 2 when I was 12 and was only familiar with the FF type of RPG. I didn't understand any of it, though O could see awesomeness and a vreat adventure was there within my reach if I could just wrap my head around what was going on. Now that I'm 32 and played several of these types of ganes and actually played D&D, I feel like O' m finally ready foor that experience. So I'm SO glad I'm getting another chance to go on this adventure! Thnq guys for bringing this to switch!!!

Re: Switch's NES And SNES Games Will No Longer Be Added Monthly

Barbara001

@Old_Man_Nintendo I know, there are so many. And I'm going to play them al to teeny tiny bits! But I was hoping that with a steady stream they'd eventually had to resolve to lesser known SNES games (like they had to with the NES games) which would mean Lufia 2, Illusion of Time or Prehistoric Man stood a chance. With this no schedule they could stay with the classics Like DKC, Earthbound and Mario All Stars, and they wouldn't have to fill the gaps when they're out of those classic games. So here's hoping those niche games still find their way to the switch even without the schedule.

Re: Switch's NES And SNES Games Will No Longer Be Added Monthly

Barbara001

@Ludovsky that sounds reasonable. For example if Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles launches, they release the line up of F games for SNES. Could be cool. But then the question becomes, why are there no DK games yet? Is a new one coming??? Would be cool! I just hope a no schedule doesn't mean lesser games.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Technical Analysis Of Astral Chain On Switch

Barbara001

I "LOVE" how these people always makes the switch feel inferior and that things "are strange", but "for switch it's a well made game". Keep in mind, "for switch" , cause on other consoles it would apperently be utter garbage, but "for switch" it's a nice made game. With other games as well, "it's a definite downgrade from other console, but for switch it's good, but a definite downgrade." "Did you get it's a DOWNGRADE?". Wregh. Always so condescending. Hate DF.

Re: Switch SNES Controller Confirmed, Nintendo Switch Online SNES Games Next?

Barbara001

A Link to the Past, Lufia 2 (never gonna happen but still), Illusion of Time (also never gonna happen), Earthbound, Yoshis Island, Secret Of Mana, Final Fantasy 6, Castlevania Dracula X, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Donkeu Kong Country 3, Super Mario All Stars (sooooo bad), Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy 3, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 5....I got a few I'm waiting for 😁

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo DS Games

Barbara001

Seriously? A SNES game and a GBC game in the top 2? With Chrono Trigger being almost a direct port...? Like, heart gold and soul silver were remakes, I get that, but Chrono Trigger? Shouldn't it be in the SNES list to begin with? Good to see though that the Castlevania games score so high (as they should)! Don't know my favorite DS game actually... I think Dawn of Sorrow (it's the one I played the most, so, I guess that one).
