On my second playthrough of pokemon shield, gonna go to the Isle of Armor soon, and also playing Professor Layton. Both next to Super Mario Sunshine. Still as fun as it was when I first played it on the cube, but now the controls are controllable 😄
I'd like to know, does anyone know how the camera is handles in Sunshine. Booted it up on my cube a few weeks ago and the camera controls are reversed (sp not inverted I guess) and it's unplayable! So I hope they have a "normal" camera or at least an option to change it.
So the trailer looks... Well for a game that's about a gamestreamer, there's a lot of girl (why the boob scene?) and not so much game. It's just another story of, girl "is coy and shows skin" so "people go psycho and stalk the girl" and that is not a narative that tells the truth. Psycho's just be psycho you know. It's always putting girls in the victim corner, never am a fan of that. Don't think they should just pull the game though. Although it might be tough filming all new scenes to tell a sligjtly different story.
I just hope they give a release date for Ys Origin. Other than that, I don't think they will give anything new. Hopefully that comes thursday, when they bring out the big guns direct. A girl can dream right?
@gaga64 congratulations!! And to all the YS VIII players I read, it's so great right? Finished it last year and still miss that game. It's in my top 3 list of best games ever. Now waiting for Ys IX. Playing some Pokemon in the meantime this weekend
@TimboSlice a lot of people are upset because tencent is involved. It's a google like company which has a chatting app that is huge in china. Data from that app is given to the chinese government and police to spy on people, leading to actual arrests. It's a company that helps oppression of people and it's now making a pokemon game. If you spend money on this game, you are funding this company, and therewith the oppression of people. That's the problem people have with this game.
@TG16_IS_BAE aaah the gaming Gods giveth and the Gaming Gods taketh away.. They already gave me Ys IX to look forward to, I'm sooooooo happy about that!!! And I'm still hoping for that 35th anniversay Mario collection with Super Mario Sunshine (oooh, the memories of Sunshine)! And Horizon Forbidden West was FINALLY announced (now that's how you announce a game btw). So maybe, just maybe, the Pokemon Game Gods will listen and give us remakes (in my head there is giant Pikachu dressed like Zeus with a thunderbolt staring down on us).

I hoped the Let's Go mechanic wpuld bring me just the thing to enjoy the games at long last. I would also love another remake of ru y and sapphire, but that would be to soon I guess. So I didn't agree and in that light made my statement. And then there is the fact that apperently there are 27 new job openings since last week, that certainly sparked my hope for another development project. But you are absolutely right. That makes it all the more amazing that a game like hollow knight was developed by just 3 people.

I just know the blizz con boo conference from 2 years ago, I thought it was gonna release soon after (not a mobile gamer, so my interest stopped there). @DrJoson I loved theatrythm, but I got that, cause the 3ds couldn't pull of FFX, you needed a console for the actual games. The 3ds wasnt a console. But they are treating the switch like a handheld here, while it could so easily play at least the remixes. I mean, they are hd PS2 games. It feels like not being taken seriously, like the big consoles get the actual games, we get the, sort of looks like it game. I mean the remixes are free for the xbox gamepass and we're not even getting the option to buy the games? That's just mean. They know we want the Kingdom Hearts games, but they just won't give it. That we're not getting 3, I can understand, but not even the remixes? We get a rythm game? It just.. Makes me really sad, you know.

I watched the youtube video on my 4k screen and it didn't look all that bad. Not even in handheld mode. Could be my screen is upscaling, vut it will do the same when I play the game, so. No, thought I would be way more dissapointed and that it would look way worse then in the teailers and it doesn't. Actually, it looks te same. So me happy!
@Giygas_95 yeah, I also grew up with RPG's but had no playstation in that era, so missed that classic, but the love never died. I still love the grinding and the japanese style, but also come to enjoy the faster adventure rpg's like kingdoms of amalur and Fable (and therefor the Witcher). And sadly for me I s*ck at first person shooters, so those games are lost on me. Tried playing wolfenstine 2, investigated every nook and cranny but died every 10 seconds 😂. I just don't get first person controls on a console controller... To many buttons I have to press and control at once 😋.
@Jooles_95 I still need to start on Three Houses, that's how far behind I am already hahaha. But there are so many fun games. But I still hope Metroid Prime Trilogy is coming soon (need to play those games again), would love for BotW 2 to come out soon and O'm really hoping there is going to be a Lufia sequel, prequel, remake or Ys 9 gets a switch release, but those things are never going to happen I guess...

@Harmonie sorry, in that case I came of wrong, I didn't mean they had to release in that way at all, I just predicted that was what they were going to do (I read that prediction in an article somewhere, I believe on this site), because the let's go franchise is easy to make, it earns them a lot of money, and the rest of the team can work on a new entry in or a new generation (which, according to what I read, releases once every 2 years). So following that logic, I predicted they would indeed follow that model. I never said they should do it in that way, personally, I think they should take longer for a new entry and focus less on remaking games (I mean, I played Blue, Yellow, Silver (which has the original region as extra), FireRed, SoulSilver (same story) and Pokemon Lets Go Eevee, enough is enough). Sorry if it came of as opinionated at all, my opinion does not in any way resemble the way that it could be read. I just thought (because of the article, once again, don't know where I read it) it would make sense from an economic standpoint to give people some let's go while they're waiting for a new full entry (which, perhaps, could be a Shining Pearl/Glimmering Diamond (just made up those titles and I LOVE THEM, instabuy)). So sorry I came off wrong, seems we actually agree with one another 😊😊😊.

Second of all, a lot of people hated on sword and shield, think Trump is a great chap and believe climate change is a lie. Also, a lot of people believe the earth is flat. I don't care a lot about the opinion of 'a lot of people'. I was just talking about how it would make ME happy to play a new let's go game. You could have said, well, it's not my cup of tea, but some people like you can enjoy it, so that would be nice for you. But nooo, you just state your own disappointment and dismay and spew your own negativity and back it up with a statement about 'a lot of people agree with me'. I wish the world would be a bit nicer, but people like you keep proving when it comes to childrens games there are a lot of snobbistic, egotistical, dark people who just care about their own wishes and demands and getting their way or else, not being able to be happy for another person. (see, two can play the serious game, I still hope you get to enjoy a nice Diamond and Pearl remake.)
@Harmonie I reeaaaallly hope it's a new let's go, I really liked Let's go Eevee (so much nostalgia, I played the original blue and yellow back in the day) and it was let's go 2018, sword/shield 2019, so now a new let's go in 2020 and the new generation in 2021. But maybe it's let's go diamond and pearl, then we both kinda get what we want 😊

@Giygas_95 I've started ff7 like half a year ago, 20hrs in and when I had to follow a guy in a black coat for the tenth time something in me just gave up. I reallu do want to finish it, want to know what all the fuss is about but.. Well, it's kind of... Dull?

@Tourer145 Right? I think I played it more already then my SNES and GameCube combined! And that's saying something! So many games, so little time. And there's going to be a blockbuster sale in Europe with games 75% off. YEAY 😁

@Giygas_95 I know the feeling! I'm so far begind playing through my library, they could go a year without releasing games and I still couldn't play everything. For me, the switch is the best console there ever was, games wise.

Owned a Ps4 Pro and an Xbox One, had the free games memberships (ps plus and Gamepass), still bought the games on switch, cause well, it just feels better and nicer and... Can't explain it. Sold both consoles (ps4 and xbox) cause I barely touched them and just wanted to play on my switch. 😳

@Harmonie sorry, in that case I came of wrong, I didn't mean they had to release in that way at all, I just predicted that was what they were going to do (I read that prediction in an article somewhere, I believe on this site), because the let's go franchise is easy to make, it earns them a lot of money, and the rest of the team can work on a new entry in or a new generation (which, according to what I read, releases once every 2 years). So following that logic, I predicted they would indeed follow that model. I never said they should do it in that way, personally, I think they should take longer for a new entry and focus less on remaking games (I mean, I played Blue, Yellow, Silver (which has the original region as extra), FireRed, SoulSilver (same story) and Pokemon Lets Go Eevee, enough is enough). Sorry if it came of as opinionated at all, my opinion does not in any way resemble the way that it could be read. I just thought (because of the article, once again, don't know where I read it) it would make sense from an economic standpoint to give people some let's go while they're waiting for a new full entry (which, perhaps, could be a Shining Pearl/Glimmering Diamond (just made up those titles and I LOVE THEM, instabuy)).
So sorry I came off wrong, seems we actually agree with one another 😊😊😊.

@Harmonie wow, you are very serious about this. I was just trying to be friendly. First oFf, let's go was, for all intents and purposes, a remake, so a lets go diamond and pearl would be a remake. Second of all, a lot of people hated on sword and shield, think Trump is a great chap and believe climate change is a lie. Also, a lot of people believe the earth is flat. I don't care a lot about the opinion of 'a lot of people'. I was just talking about how it would make ME happy to play a new let's go game. You could have said, well, it's not my cup of tea, but some people like you can enjoy it, so that would be nice for you. But nooo, you just state your own disappointment and dismay and spew your own negativity and back it up with a statement about 'a lot of people agree with me'. I wish the world would be a bit nicer, but people like you keep proving when it comes to childrens games there are a lot of snobbistic, egotistical, dark people who just care about their own wishes and demands and getting their way or else, not being able to be happy for another person. (see, two can play the serious game, I still hope you get to enjoy a nice Diamond and Pearl remake.)

@Harmonie I reeaaaallly hope it's a new let's go, I really liked Let's go Eevee (so much nostalgia, I played the original blue and yellow back in the day) and it was let's go 2018, sword/shield 2019, so now a new let's go in 2020 and the new generation in 2021. But maybe it's let's go diamond and pearl, then we both kinda get what we want 😊
