Re: Nintendo Wins $2 Million Lawsuit Against 'MiG Switch' Distributor

While I'm mostly sympathetic to Nintendo on the matter of Switch family piracy, I'd be even more sympathetic to them if they cracked down on companies like Ubi Soft for their WEF-inspired 'own nothing and be happy' crap.

Remember Nintendo, if purchase no longer guarantees ownership, then piracy ceases to be theft.

Re: Nintendo Museum Overseas Visitors Reportedly Breaking 'No Photos' Rule

@anoyonmus Its that mentality that leads to crimes against humanity.

Nintendo have unrealistic expectations about human behavior, even among the Japanese. My advice would be to keep the rules to absolute bare minimum while doing enough to protect their exhibits and property from leftist nutters like Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion.

Re: Rumour: Switch 2's Codename Believed To Be In Latest Pokémon Data Leak

I have the following theory:

From Antiquity until the 1830s, the colour purple in fabrics was so rare that just one ounce of Tyrian Purple was worth three bars of gold. This suggests that the next generation Nintendo console will have a purple theme and be positioned as a premium, iterative version of the Switch (a glorified Switch Pro Plus if you will) costing $450+ at launch, which would be in line with those Switch 2 molds and CADs that were leaked a couple of weeks ago being accurate. It would also suggest that Nintendo are looking to extend the life of the existing Switch line towards 2030 by positioning it as Nintendo's budget format (much as they attempted to do with the 3DS after the Switch's release).

Re: Pour One Out For The Modchip Seller Facing Nintendo In Court Alone

If Mr. Daly has done something immoral (not illegal since law is about power, not morality), then I condemn him for for it. However, it looks like Nintendo are on a power trip and over-extending their might into things that are at the very least a grey area. These grey areas need to be explored and thrashed out in court for all to see. As for selling pre-modded Switches with software, how do we know it isn't homebrew software? Are Nintendo going to start suing people like me for replacing the C-Stick on my New 3DS with a PSP-1000 analogue stick cap? Where will this end Nintendo?
