@GinMiguel Thing to note here is that the Switch was starting from a lower base than the Switch 2, due to the poor sales figures for the Wii U. The Switch also got an insane sales boost from the release Animal Crossing: New Horizons coinciding with the global lockdowns, something the Switch 2 is very unlikely to repeat.

I reckon the Switch 2 is on track to sell 120-125 million consoles over its lifetime.

@MADLUDWIG11 Most of Nintendo's releases during the Switch era were Wii U ports. Mind you they still publish quality new titles too.

I think this game might just be right up my street. I loved the ISS games on N64 and liked the PES releases on Wii, 3DS and PSP.

I have always strongly suspected this because I collect wrestling action figures. I have one of the earlier Cody Ruthless Aggression figures from Jakks in 2008/9, and it had the Triforce symbol on both boots. I noticed from both other Jakks releases and photos from 2009 that Triforce is missing and I always assumed that either Nintendo issued Cody a Cease and Desist or Vince McMahon forbade Cody from using the Triforce in case Nintendo took legal action against WWE.

Personally, I think it was rather petty and self-defeating of Nintendo to act in this way, as Cody was giving them free publicity, free public publicity they could have tapped into by recruiting Cody Rhodes to work alongside Robin and Zelda Williams to promote their Zelda releases in 2011.

Take my money Nintendo! I don't care that this is a remake of a remake of a remake.

I hope Wario is the big bad in the next Mario movie before getting his own spin-off series. Wario should also be the Thanos of the NCU.

Nintendo should get the writers from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the Battlestar Galactica reboot / Caprica to handle StarFox movies and TV shows.

The next Mario movie will come out in early April 2029. It will be called "The Super Mario Odyssey Movie" and will be built around Bowser's nephews / Bowser Jr.'s cousins , the seven Koopa kids from Mario 3 and Mario World.

I find this claim from NintendoLife laughable as it is predictable.

Claiming that Larson / Rosalina was kind of wasted is a bit like complaining that Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't get enough lines in the first Terminator movie. Everything that Rosalina did was impactful and carried weight. Larson made what "little" material she had to work with matter; and that's all that matters, especially considering how insufferable Larson has been up until recently. Larson and Rosalina was definitely an upgrade over Seth Rogan's Donkey Kong.

There may be a "Fox McCloud will return in Star Fox: Lylat Wars" screen during the Mario Galaxy Movie credits. It's also pretty much certain that there will be a Super Smash Bros. movie by 2030.

I hope General Scales from Star Fox Adventures is featured in the Mario Galaxy Movie, as he'd be a good fit alongside the Koopas and Wart. Fingers crossed that we get a Star Fox movie as good as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Peace Walker and Ghost Babel are worth the price alone. Lets hope this will be locked at 60 fps throughout, especially on Switch 2.

After watching review videos for Starfleet Academy, Voyager seems like a masterpiece in comparison.

I don't care what lies Sony says, Switch has outsold the PS2 and is thus the best selling dedicated video game system of all time.

After a decade of Woke Trek, I'm almost well disposed these days towards Voyager. I would much rather have a decent new Deep Space Nine game though. Maybe a spiritual sequel to Crossroads of Time in the Prince of Persia / Flashback mould set around Seasons 5-to-7 perhaps?

But will Kiwami 3 have the Rain Maker Kazuchika Okada like Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 6 do?

Nintendo have unrealistic expectations about human behavior, even among the Japanese. My advice would be to keep the rules to absolute bare minimum while doing enough to protect their exhibits and property from leftist nutters like Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion.

I have the following theory:

From Antiquity until the 1830s, the colour purple in fabrics was so rare that just one ounce of Tyrian Purple was worth three bars of gold. This suggests that the next generation Nintendo console will have a purple theme and be positioned as a premium, iterative version of the Switch (a glorified Switch Pro Plus if you will) costing $450+ at launch, which would be in line with those Switch 2 molds and CADs that were leaked a couple of weeks ago being accurate. It would also suggest that Nintendo are looking to extend the life of the existing Switch line towards 2030 by positioning it as Nintendo's budget format (much as they attempted to do with the 3DS after the Switch's release).
