Would it be vaguely possible to use the VB accessory to play 3DS games in 3D should Nintendo add the 3DS to NSO? Maybe find a way to wear it like a headset and not require it to always be propped on a table like surface? Then again, weight might an issue?
ALTTP is one of those games I could play several times and never be bored of. When A Link Between Worlds was being released, and I read about the return to ALTTP’s Hyrule, I was excited to jump back into that world. Easily my favourite 1-2 punch as far as the series goes. A top of the hat to Oracle of Ages and Seasons, hope we get the Link’s Awakening remake treatment for those one of these days.
Going to go with the Japanese one. My curiousity is, however, is his blaster, where he has his on the right arm in the Europe/NA box, and left arm on the Japanese.
Spoiler bit: The post-credit scene reminded me of the ending of Godzilla (1998 version), where there was the undiscovered nest of eggs (complete with one hatching and the roar) in MSG that was to allude to a sequel.
Can confirm we’re the type of people that will apologize for being in the way if someone nudges us with a car at a crosswalk, we beat another team at something, or if our pet moose accidentally eats someone else’s flowerbed.
But yeah, apologies are great if from the actual source of the issues, and proper points if the source knows WHY they should apologize.
Those are damn brilliant looking! Reminds me of a four coaster set I got years ago that had a re-imagining of Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy I, but still a different style.
But what if it’s Punchy or Bob or Stitches? They’re always on about bugs for friends, so, wouldn’t you be killing some of theirs? They’d leave horrified after called you a monster!
I just look forward to another excuse to play SF64. We need a new entry too, dammit. Winback was one I didn’t even expect, kind of forgot about it, actually. Curious if Mission Impossible might be added at some point, only knew it’s a 007 style game, but not much else. Maybe we’ll see San Francisco Rush and Rush 2?
If Nintendo decided to share it (or Astral Chain) with Microsoft for them doing us a few solids, I’d not completely lose sleep over it. Still, though, looking forward to playing it next year!
I’ve played through in bits and pieces RPG Maker 95, 2000, 2003, XP, VX, VX Ace, MV, and MZ, and found each one to have their hits and misses. I got a copy of this knowing the limitations and so far, I’ve found, aside from a clunky UI, that I’ve enjoyed what’s there, and with the hints of DLC, am curious as to what they’ll add. Bare bones? Yes and no, as I find they do have a generous assortment of tile sets in this version. Plus, one can find a decent amount of tutorials on the RPG Maker forums if they’re stuck, and a lot of events don’t require plugins if one has the patience.
If I want to really blow open the doors, I’ll fire up MZ. If I want a simple experience where I just make a smaller version of a game I’m making in MZ, I’ll gladly keep playing around in this one for a while, even if I can’t have all the nice plugins and abilities to create my own or import art and music (maybe a future update?)

Re: Talking Point: Do You Have A New Go-To Racer In Mario Kart World?
Tour or Aurora Rosalina. The lack of Koopalings is sad, and yet again, no Wart?!
Fridge magnets!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th February)
Momodora: RUTM
Monster Hunter Wilds Beta (XBSX)
Doom 2 (PC w/ mods)
Stardew Valley
RPG Maker MZ (PC)
All in between enjoying the lovely Canadian winter and something called a Super Bowl.
Re: Registration For The 'Nintendo Switch 2 Experience' Begins Soon
Would’ve been good if it wasn’t just Toronto for Canada. Would’ve thought Vancouver or maybe Edmonton. All the same, good luck to everyone else here!
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2024 - Our Most Played Games
Fire Emblem: Three Houses - 72 hours
Diablo 3: Eternal Collection - 54 hours
Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - 23 hours
Picked FE:3H for my favourite of the year, though Cat Quest 3 and Ace Combat 7 were up there too.
Re: Opinion: Hyrule Really Needs To Take A Look At Its Prison System
Legend of Cellda this ain’t.
Re: Doom + Doom II Updated On Switch, Here Are The Patch Notes
Now we just need a functioning version of Brutal Doom.

Re: Random: Can Balatro Run DOOM? Yep, It Seems It Can
What’s next, Skyrim? Tetris?

Re: Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Poll Asks Fans To Vote For Their Favourite Monster
Crimson Glow Valstrax for me.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Mega Man 7
Going to go with the Japanese one. My curiousity is, however, is his blaster, where he has his on the right arm in the Europe/NA box, and left arm on the Japanese.
Re: Poll: Which Was Your First 'Final Fantasy'?
Final Fantasy VI on SNES, mind was absolutely blown back then.
Re: Feature: Best Rabbits In Games
What of the Bunny Link form from A Link to the Past when you first enter the Dark World?

Re: Feature: 40 Years Of Weird And Wonderful (And Just Plain Wrong) Super Mario TV Commercials
For me, this one. It’s not exactly Mario per say, but it was an ad for SML3:WL

Re: Talking Point: Which Is Your Favourite 3DS Theme?
Bravely Second, which constantly reminds me I need to get back to playing it.

Re: Talking Point: What's Your Favourite Music Track From A Nintendo Game?
Was tough narrowing it down, but at current…
LoZ:ALttP - Lost Woods Theme
Re: Talking Point: What Was Your First Mario Kart Game?
For me, Super Mario Kart, and I sometimes get the original Rainbow Road theme stuck in my head when I think about.
Re: Feature: 10 Famous Franchises That Would Make Great Warriors Games
Ys Warriors, maybe Animal Crossing Warriors.
Re: Capcom Teases New Armour Sets Coming To Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
The Palico Gore Magala is a must for me. Reminds me slightly of a creepier more sinister looking Poe from the LoZ series.
Re: Rumour: Did The Mario Strikers: Battle League Credits Just Reveal Another Character?
How about Wart for a change? Or Mouser?

Re: GTA Trilogy Dev Responds To Fan Frustrations, Says Updates Are Already In The Works
With a name like Grove Street mishandling the trilogy, CJ would be disappointed.

Re: Tetris Effect: Connected On Switch Receives Its First Major Patch, Here Are The Full Details
At least I could access the 1984 theme, that was a fix too, right?
Re: Former Mario Movie Star John Leguizamo Isn't Happy With The Casting On The New Film
The only thing this movie lacks is Tommy Wiseau, then it’ll have a vampire as a voice actor in it. That way, even other beings are represented too.

And yes, bring back Madworld, dammit!
Re: Feature: Game Boy Games We'd Love To See On Nintendo Switch Online
Though already part of the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge. Also, maybe Revenge of the Gator.

Re: Square Enix Says A Console Version Of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Depends On Demand
It’s rather a no-brainer, isn’t it? Or at least, it should be a no-brainer. Obviously there’s demand for it on consoles, Switch especially.
Re: Games Within Games - The Best Video Games In Other Video Games
The sample of Gradius that you could play during intermission (random, I believe) in Blades of Steel.
Re: Build-A-Bear Is Launching An Animal Crossing: New Horizons Collection
Stitches would be a no brainer, really.
Re: Video: Ten 3DS Exclusives That Could Be Better On Nintendo Switch
Final Fantasy Explorers would be a fun edition to the Switch.

Also, the score given is a fair one.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #52 - Mega Man 2
Europe's gives me a David Bowie vibe, if he was stuffed into a excessively low budget sci-fi movie.
Re: Random: Come On Nintendo, There's Clearly Demand For Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear
Stitches, Bluebear, Saharah, Jack, Agent S.
