I love both the Emerald & Platinum Box Arts but if I were to choose, I'm going with my Gen IV bias.

@HandHeld3fectAce Wish I had known that before I started a whole new game and transported my Pokémon from my original run to Poké Bank, later Pokémon Home.

I'm just glad I was able to nickname my Weedle, Weed.

I CAN FINALLY GET DEOXYS!!! Its the only Pokémon missing in regards to the Hoenn Pokémon I have on Home.

I unfortunately defeated the one in AlphaSapphire before I could catch it.

Gen IX is weird as, while I do have favorites, I don't exactly have a #1 favorite yet, but it is a tie between Ceruledge & Tinkaton, and I decided to vote for the latter.

Compared to Gen VII, I feel like Gen VIII did a lot better with its Pokemon designs as I am a fan of most of them. With my favorite been Cinderace.

This is gonna be an unpopular opinion, but Gen VII is my least favorite Gen of the franchise. There are not a lot of Pokemon designs I like, with Bruxish been the worst.

As for my favorite Pokemon, its easily Zeraora which is who I voted for. Shoutout to Rockruff, Litten, Torracat, Popplio, Brionne, Mimikyu, Golisopod, Steenee, Lurantis, Mareanie, Vikavolt & of course, Rowlet (I think the Anime has a lot to do with his popularity), who are probably the only other Gen VII Pokemon I would use honestly.

Edit: Forgot about the Alolan forms, Alolan Ninetales is easily up there as a favorite of mine with the Alolan variants of Exeggutor, Raichu, Sandslash & Vulpix been up there too.

Why do I get the vibe some of these answers are Nintendo avoiding the actual questions been asked?

My Gen VI Pokémon feels like a predictable one, that been Greninja, which had 16% of the vote share after I chose it. I do love ninjas.

Do want to shoutout Sylveon, Braixen, Espurr, Litleo and Helioptile.

As cool as Zoroark is, for me its easily Zorua.

While I would personally give it an 8, my personal ranking system is different compared to this site so I'll give it a 7 instead.

For me an 8 = Good and a 7 = Okay.

Easily my favorite Generation, partially because it was the main Gen I grew up with it.

My fave Gen IV Pokémon is also my favorite Eeveelution, that been Glaceon, but a LOT of Gen IV mon are among my favorites in general.

Its easily Rayquaza, I've always been enamoured by it, although I'm not sure why. I've always thought it has looked pretty cool

Its easily Vulpix for me, which is my #1 favorite Pokémon. Feel like it Kantonian Vulpix wasted in the anime and I'll never forgive the Pokémon anime for it.

I am excited for this game, but I am kinda nervous. Between this, ACNH (which I'm getting back into playing) & Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, these games are gonna take a lot of Switch-2 time.

It is disappointing to hear that the Adventure Mode is rather short, it probably won't affect my enjoyment of the game, but it is still disappointing regardless

@PtM I agree, that is why I don't really care about the news of the sharing limitations, espicially when in the same article, NintendoLife points out about Swapnote.

Not to mention the amount of weird stuff that is on the Smash Bros Ultimate's share feature. I think we just need to be patient and wait, hopefully Nintendo will clarify it in a future Direct or trailer. Or the reviews prior the game's release will tell us.

What was the price of the first game when released? I just want to compare prices.

Personally, I don't mind it been €60, although I would of preferred it to be €50.

Man, seeing the option for having your Mii be gay or non-binary got me hyped, ngl. I was not expecting it, and I'm super glad its there.

I remember playing Tomb Raider on PC as a kid in the early-mid 2000s, and at the time I found it difficult on what to do.

I'm not that familiar with Tomb Raider outside of that thou, but I feel like that outfit is game accurate, even if it is super outdated.

Relieved to know that Myles is the only annoying character in Metroid Prime 4. Still have no interest in Metroid Prime 4 myself thou if playing Dread is any indication. Don't do great with games that have a high difficulty.

And yeah, I'm aware there are difficulty options in Prime 4

Well, I think this article has sold me on the game, I'm probably going to look up my favorite characters from various animated series to see if they were made a warp star from well known series such as Simpsons, Avatar: The Last Airbender & Arthur to more niche shows such as Strawberry Shortcake.

@JCLKaytwo Honestly, the fact that the subtitle is "A century of must-have classics" does make this list even more suspicious.

How is Xenoblade Chronicles 3 not on the list? Unless I missed it somehow. I know X & the original Xenobldae are on the list.

Platinum not being on the list is a choice. I know Diamond & Pearl have its problems, but Platinum is way better and fixes the flaws from Diamond & Pearl.

Brie Larson is honestly the right pick for Rosalina in retrospect, don't know why, but I am certainly a fan of that choice.

While I am hoping for a Daisy appearance, I'm not expecting. Will say, surprised we didn't see Yoshi in the trailer.

I don't mind the design, I do like it outside of the eyes, but I am apprehensive about Yoshi's voice. I am so used to hearing Yoshi sounding a certain way that I'm going to be very critical if he doesn't sound that way.

Honestly, I don't know. My favorite era of Pokémon is the DS/Wii era, between both the main series & spinoff games.

However, from the 3DS era and beyond, it has being a mixed bag.

I am one of the few people who enjoyed X, and I loved AlphaSapphire too.

However, Gen 7...is my least favorite generation of all, I wasn't a fan of a lot of the new Gen VII mons, and I never completed the games. There are aspects I do like about it, but this is when I started to feel negative about Pokémon.

In regards to the Switch era, I did enjoy both Let's Go Eevee, Pokémon Sword & Shield. However, Violet is when I started to have doubts about Pokémon, a lot of it possibly being due to me being a different type of Pokémon fan than others.

I love my linearity in Pokémon, and while I didn't mind the open zone format of Sword. I wasn't as much of a fan of the open world of Violet, to the point it took me a long time to get back to the game.

Part of it being that I've being spoiled by Grand Theft Auto as outside of that franchise, I can't get into open world games at all, even Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom. There are exceptions of course, I love Marvel's Spider-Man.

I did enjoy Legends Arceus and have restarted the game to play it again, as it is a great game. However, as for Legends Z-A, I just don't have the urge to play it, and I don't know why.

I am one of the few people who don't care about graphics or how places look, and I don't mind it only being set in Lumiose City. However, I'm not a massive fan of the battle system in the game, espicially with the cooldown feature. And the lack of grinding options doesn't help either as I can't battle trainers as if I lose, then I'll lose money, and I want that money to buy items.

The lack of variety in the Pokédex doesn't help either. I just feel so mixed on Legends Z-A that I just don't know how to feel about it. Its not bad, I am intrigued by the story, but I just don't know if I want to play it.

Its honestly why I feel like when Gen X comes around, I'm gonna wait and purchase it after it releases, so I know it is a game I want to purchase.

I'm a 27 year old adult who has to consider a lot of factors. I'm not that kid who loved Pokémon so much in the DS/Wii generation anymore.

Pretty sure the only Pokémon purchase I'll make next year is Pokéopia.

Its a 9/10 game for me, I love everything about it and its fun playing online with others espicially. Free Roam is honestly the best thing about the game imo, with Knockout Tour being an easy second.

My main negatives namely comes down to missing options with the Vs. Mode such as an option for no items. I'm also not a fan of how rare the Kamek Item is and there are no other ways of unlocking NPC characters. I do agree with the complaints of the character roster too.

Also, I do agree with what @IceClimbersMain said about the free roam mode, I just love to drive around. Its what I loved about GTA V's Director Mode until it was shut down.

@antdickens I initially started this poll on my phone but was having trouble and accidentelly pressed submit on an answer I hadn't finished for the "Where do you typically watch Nintendo Direct broadcasts?" Question. I was hoping I could finish it on PC but it seems like its still submitted, is it possible if I could re-submit with a more complete answer?

I stopped using Pawmo due to this evolution technique, wish there was another option for those that quickly get bored or have short attention problems, like use a Thunderstone for example.

For me, it would be either a new Ranger game or a new Poképark game. A new game in the Stadium/Revolution, Pokken or Mystery Dungeon series would be cool too. Also, while I have yet to finish it myself, I 100% agree with those asking for a Conquest 2

The only reason why I got this game was for the code that linked the Wii U version, sadly, I didn't get to as I ripped the code out of the pack (didn't know you had to scratch it), so I only played it until I got Linkle, and haven't played it since (espicially since Hyrule Warriors Deluxe came out)
