Re: Splatoon's Big Update is Coming on 6th August

Love the upcoming update. I would have hoped that they allowed for loading out within the lobby though. Also, seems like Smash is still the king of options. You should be able to choose time lengths, splatzone time length would also be nice.

Re: Splatoon Holds Its Territory in the UK Charts

Splatoon is an amazing game. I absolutely love it. If Batman was coming to the Wii U I most likely wouldn't buy it. That being said I wish it was coming to the wii u. It would be nice to know that there are many more options. I truly believe if you haven't played Splatoon you're missing out on something very special

Re: Feature: Five Key Moments from Nintendo's E3

@Shiryu that's a good reason to ensure that it does show up at the biggest conference for gamers (when all the worlds gamers are focused on you). Who will watch the Nintendo direct? Nintendo fans. Everyone would have seen this game at E3

Re: There's Another New Weapon Coming To Splatoon Today

wisdomsprince

@TheAceofMystery I feel they are OK in splatzone to lay out a path at the beginning of the battle. I feel they should have a beacon as their sub weapons because they can move around the battle field really quickly placing them. Not sure of the top of my head what they do have now

Re: Hyrule Warriors Is Slashing Its Way to 3DS

wisdomsprince

@Jason723 Yup, I've noticed they are spreading the news throughout the week instead of holding off until e3. I guess I'm ok with that too. I just wish I knew that was the plan because I don't like seeing it as a spoiler but as something to look forward to

Re: Splatoon Ranked Battles Creep Closer as the 'Splatometer' Fills

wisdomsprince

@CreativeWelshman I don't really see how waves could fit this game. Maybe something more along the lines of filling the world with your pain in a certain amount of time with different obstacles in the way so you'll have to plan it out but even that seems like a stretch. It just doesn't feel like that type of game

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Confirmed for Wii U

@EarthboundBenjy Project Cars said the same thing. All these crowd funding games are foolish in my opinion. If you want to make a game then take the risk to make it and you'll be rewarded if you make a good game. You don't make the potential customers take the risk for you. I've learned from experience, something meeting a stretch goal doesn't mean anything. Clearly not many of you have learned this lesson yet.

Re: Poll: Early Impressions on Splatoon and That All-Important Online Multiplayer

wisdomsprince

@Technosphile I'm with you on the loadout in the lobby's. That's the one complaint I have. They should just give you 30 seconds or something to select your weapons for the match. I haven't gotten annoyed by the sisters yet though (maybe that will happen). It could be cool though. Now it's annoying because there is never any real news. It's just, "here are the two new maps" (There are only 5!). However, I can imagine that being quite an exciting time when there is actually real news. Breaking news, the person who gets the most kills in the next our will be rewarded a special costume! Or The top 10% in paint coverage will be rewarded a special item etc etc. Or the winner of the challenge is....I THINK that's what they might be going for with that but only time will tell

Re: Nintendo Download: 28th May (North America)

wisdomsprince

so in Canada Splatoon cost $70 Plus $40 for the 3 amiibo. Poor form Nintendo. I will buy the game but I'll be locked out of Content because I don't think that the content of this game is worth $110. I've been a huge backer of Nintendo this generation but if this trend continues I'll have to back out.

The impression I originally had about Amiibo's is you would basically have one per Nintendo character which could be used in a number of different games. What's it has turned into is each game comes with it's own Amiibo to unlock all of the content in the game. Mario Party was a clear example of this and this is the worth example yet because you require 3 different amiibos to unlock all of the content in the game. Very bad trend

Re: Exclusive: Slightly Mad Studio Head Ian Bell Sets The Record Straight On Project CARS Wii U

wisdomsprince

I wish this would put an end to all the kickstarter/crowdfunding articles about so and so getting a Wii u stretch goal and all this foolishness, If you haven't seen gameplay for a Wii u game then it shouldn't really be mentioned on these sites. It's just free advertising and these companies add these "stretch goals" without ever having the intention of making the game for Wii u just so they can get the attention of Nintendo fans (most of which will have the system that it IS coming out for). Stop giving free advertising and see the problem disappear.

Re: Nintendo Announces Its Plans for E3 2015, Headlined By New Nintendo World Championships

wisdomsprince

@rjejr I'm pretty sure the same people who cover Square aren't the same people who cover Nintendo. Even if they are, Nintendo is what people will care about. Everyone wants to know what Nintendo is up to. That won't change because there is some competition. Kingdom Heart and Final Fantasy, is this what that company is known for? Great! I'm not concerned, they won't be able to match what Nintendo is doing. I'm much more interested in Nintendo and I venture to think so is everyone on this site

Case in point, look how excited people get when Nintendo announces an Announcement about when they will announce whatever they will announce at E3
