BOTW was actually a little too dense for my liking. That sounds like a strange complaint but some areas didn't really feel 'natural' and felt a little too game-y, like how the Gerudo desert was just stuck in the corner of the map. The game needs a little bit more space to breathe.

@jimi Other people will see the appeal, as they won't have experienced it on Wii U beforehand. For them it's essentially an entirely new game.

Wii U owners may be enticed by the combination of new content and the games being free/very cheap on Switch if bought by a Wii U game owner.

@Mogster the only game I genuinely felt was worth buying a Wii U for was splatoon. It's a shame other console shooters don't use motion controls, it somehow feels more intuitive to use motion controls than a mouse to aim

@Freeon-Leon You could say the same about George Lucas. The man's recent ideas have been kind of rubbish; if I'm not mistaken he was the one who suggested they take the story out of the new Paper Mario; yet, the company still follows his every order because Japanese business.

The biggest mistake Nintendo made with the GamePad is lack of multiplayer support. With only one gamepad the console feels half baked, but if there was support for multiple GamePads the possibilities and the allure of the console would have been immense. Granted, the tech needed to create such a console might have been expensive, but just imagine the multiplayer possibilities when each player has his or her own private screen!

I'm surprised that plate spinners haven't already switched to 3DSes, it would make their job much easier.

I was so close to being disappointed in that direct but Megamix's localisation single-handedly pushed my rating up to great. That was the only thing I was really happy about; the rest was meh-to-terrible teir.

It would be nice if Nintendo could implement a special ringing implement that made dogs stop moving...

If the NX is actually a home/handheld console hybrid everyone thinks it is, it's in a pretty sticky situation in regards to release date. If it releases too early, the Wii U's life cycle is too short; if it releases too late, the 3DS's life cycle is too long. They just have to time it right

Seriously? How many videos do we actually need to tell us that SMB's design is good?? Can't these people change it up a bit and cover the design genius of Super Mario Land or something?

@MarkyVigoroth Lol are you seriously saying that the reason Nintendo's consoles have mostly sold mediocre-ly is because they use 3D graphics??

I think the solution is for nintendo to arrange a deal with Sony to make the PSVR compatible with the NX, as it would allow Nintendo to create VR titles while also boosting the headset's value and saving us from buying two different headsets unnecessarily.

Ooh, a super beefed-up Melee-style sequel to splatoon at launch with much more content and actual local multilplayer wouldo do it for me.

If the NX is a home/handheld console hybrid like people have been saying, this game could potentially be a combination of the 3DS and the Wii U game. If that's the case, this game could be a game-changer. It would be by far the biggest Smash Bros game by a long shot, and if it was a combination of the two games, I'd consider it a day one buy.

Well, this has cemented my belief that Amiibo are the worst thing Nintendo's ever created. Remember five years ago, when Nintendo said they wouldn't be the kind of company to do this? What's happened to them? I can only hope this Amiibo plague will stop soon, or else whole games might be locked behind these money-grabbing plastic content locks.

Better than Minions any day, even if they are cheap pieces of plastic rubbish anyway.

I'm pretty jealous to be honest, if only because they'll get to play Rhythm Heaven 3DS

Splatoon isn't even an FPS, it's third person.

my 3ds used to keep falling off my shelf when I wasn't using it. This update should hopefully fix that.

If they are localizing it, it should be remembered that they usually take a while to translate the game. However, in this case, it theoretically should take twice as long to translate it, as they are now localizing twice the content (the original was Japan-only, while the other two were localized anyway). I wouldn't expect to see this anytime soon.
