In this completely silly run of bite-sized features, we're going to write a new version of '12 Days of Christmas' with a Nintendo twist that will, hopefully, be good enough to sing.
Three Angry Cuccos
The original line is "three French hens", so we went for an equivalent that was snappy and brought to mind one of the weirdest and most fun parts of Nintendo gaming. It's natural to mess around with environments in games, but if you're cruel enough to attack innocent little cuccos in a Legend of Zelda game, you will pay the price.
So far, then, our song is as follows:
On the First day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
A big chair in a Pear Tree.On the Second day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
Two Koopa Troopas
and a big chair in a Pear TreeOn the Third day of Christmas my true love sent to me,
Three angry cuccos
Two Koopa Troopas
and a big chair in a Pear Tree
Be sure to share your suggestions for additional lyrics in the comments below; a classic Christmas song will be born. Also, as a festive bonus, below is the best video ever made.

Mr. Aonuma is such a baws glad to have him working on Zelda games.
I sense the tomorrow we'll get a pokemon. Maybe Pidove, idk
Well, that was weird.
For tomorrow, I suggest 'Four Wingulls' in the spirit of ORAS. It was the best I could come up with.
"Four paragoombas" sounds good to me
And Aonuma is so cool.
Four calling birds... Maybe a bird Pokemon that learns sing? Like Chatot? Or I suppose the bird villagers in Animal Crossing can whistle a tune while happy. Falco literally calls you over the intercom. Squawks in the most recent Donkey Kong games, calls to the player when a puzzle piece is near... I dunno this one is hard.
4 Koppai Whistling? I don't think Olimar is Koppai, and it would of been perfect if we got that 4th Koppai character for this song.
On the 4th day of Christmas my true love sent to me:
4 flying types
4 mint condition little samson games.
i can provide a pic for this if needed.
im more of a visual man
"Four brawling nerds"
4 Aonumas
"Four-letter words"
"Forbidden Magna"
I'll stop now.
"Twelve Fantasy Lives"
when you ge to that bit.
Four controller ports...?
@ogo79 Little Samson was such a good game. There were four heroes, but I don't understand the four mint condition part. Or is that just a reference to how many you have?
The song is shaping up nicely so far!
I'm gonna say it again because it needs to come true: Five Monado Arts.
Four Arwings a-flying!
@Samuel-Flutter
yeah its just me being a jerk to my undercover dedicated fans.
i do have the game though. its a good game
