Earlier today we shared the confirmation that Super Mario Happy Meal toys are heading to the UK on 12th August, with stock arriving at outlets throughout the country. It'll result in plenty of people eating more burgers or, alternatively, walking into a fast food restaurant and asking to purchase small toys. Whatever the case, we'll regret nothing.
The kind reader that gave us the heads up has now taken some pictures of all eight collectibles; these are the same range that have previously been in other territories.
Check them out below, UK gamers, and let us know if you're planning to get them all.

cool
To bad I hate fast food; nonetheless, the toys look pretty good.
No love for Luigi. It's the same toy from the past collection (at least around here). The same goes for Peach. I don't know... I'm kinda not feeling this one. Oh, well...
This is awesome!!
Plastic garbage from China :-/
@Aromaiden Can't you buy them separately around there? That's what I do here whenever a "junk food collection" gets my interest.
@Aromaiden You can buy the toys, no need to get the food.
It's cool that we got Peach this time, but amiibo already covered my urge for cheap plastic figures of Nintendo characters so I won't be bothering this year.
Oh man! The return of the Mario Happy Meal toys! https://c1.staticflickr.com/7/6107/6856850062_2b93aaf875_b.jpg
They should have another line where they have throwback McDonalds toys to re-release the 1990s line.
I want this in Polish McDonald's! Last best.
i prefer amiibo personally.
These look quite cheap, which is to be expected from a happy meal. Also, Mario's Boomerang is HUGE. It's about half the size in the games.
All of them! Except that fire ball, looks like paper
I have the coin block one, it has the iconic coin sound when pressed. Pretty cool for a happy meal toys, though the battery is dead now. Since happy meal is for kids, it took a little courage when a grown man order one.
I'm not a figure collector though, but some Figma and Nendoroid had me on the edge a lot of time. Some Amiibo too, but I wish they had a better paint job.
Can confirm that the Fire Mario's fireballs are thin cardboard.
Apologies for the lacklustre images, didn't have a huge amount of time to take them. I was working after all...
Jumping Mario's block makes the coin sound, he also slides up from the floor to the block. There are also ? Block stickers for the block. Didn't notice them when photographing. Mario can be detached.
Yoshi is on pull-back wheels.
Mario Visor is somewhat small, even for Children. It would maybe fit around a 2L bottle of Coke.
Boomerang Mario's boomerang moves up and down, can be detached.
Peach, Luigi and Penguin Mario seemingly had no gimmicks. Peach is attached to her backdrop.
The other day a friend gifted me that Peach from the time we had that toy, like 6 months ago. The rest are different and new to me though.
Better than Minions any day, even if they are cheap pieces of plastic rubbish anyway.
Mmm they look delicious...
I was convinced I wasn't going to get these. I hate McDonald's. But I have got to have that damn Penguin Mario now!
The costumed Mario's are cool. The look on Peaches face is pretty funny.
Nintendo needs to use this stuff to promote it's games like film studios do for the latest animated features.
I'd love to see then do a Star Fox Zero or Splatoon Happy Meal set
Wow, it's been a while since the UK got anything gaming related, let alone good in a Happy Meal
No Wario??? Grrr.....
@Aromaiden McDonalds lets you purchase the toys free of the happy meals if you choose. Pricing is another story though. When the Mario Kart toys were out last year the first location I went to charged me $1, another $1.60, and a third $2.00. So pricing may vary.
Collectors, prepare to enter the Mc-est of all Donalds!
They look good for cheap toys in a happy meal. I may as well go to McDonald's once and get one of these.
The toys probably contain more nutritional value than the "food" at McDonald's. =P
What? These better come to the US
Good job I need about 3 happy meals to fill me up.
Luckily, my wife has a good friend stationed in Okinawa. A year or two ago these were in Japanese McDonald's so she got her friend to get almost every one of them and mail them to us! They are pretty cool. I don't have the hat toy thought!
these were out in Europe already, I have that luigi, princess peach and the mario one that hits the coin block, only yoshi looks different and the mario penguin and koopa suits are new, anyway, with amiibo out, these kind loose some interest, it was cool because we rarely see merch from Nintendo, so I got them all from McDonalds, now I don't see the point they aren't that well made, and you can now buy pretty much any Nintendo character you like, that can be used in 3DS and Wii U games, and comes in a box and looks way better, yes this are free, but still, before amiibo I would've been all over them, now, not so much...
I will be sheepishly walking into maccy d's to buy these, 2 of them yoshi's 1 for me and one for the girlfriends daughter she loves yoshi!
@Aromaiden should be able to go and just buy the dang toys. I herd in the US u can do that for like .99 cents each...
@Uberchu it might vary from location to location but the last Mario set that came out I went in and bought some on their own. They were only £1 each.
I told Nintendo Life about this about a month ago and even the release date, I'll be collecting these again but I will also buy them too, last time I had to buy one on ebay. Not this time, I'll go to my local Mc'ds next Wednesday....
