Oh, good Lord. When I saw the title I thought the NX had been revealed last night or something!

I'm so done. Phew, that was fun! At first I was salty because I was so unlucky (no, really. A mushroom in 12th place. MULTIPLE TIMES. REALLY?!), but then at least it became favorable for me when I changed my character and wheels.
Funny enough, I noticed my bad luck started when @DreamyViridi left a banana for me in Sunshine Airport. Gah. Good games, though.

I kinda mixed up the tournament times, but I'm glad it hasn't started already. In fact I have a lot of time to complete my Mario Maker stage! Better get right to it.

Like I said already in the forums, I thought the Direct was very good but I'm still bummed my requested characters will never be in Smash 4. And I could say, "Oh well, Smash 5 then!" but I'm not so convinced Smash 5 will be a thing, to be honest.
Bayonetta is probably the most interesting addition to the roster. It's still a shocker as I see her shoes land on the Battlefield stage. And I still think Ryu coiuild have been replaced with someone else.
What's done is done, I guess.

@TheFurminator Look, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I just think the hate against Corrin is much unwarranted, IMO. And if you think there's no hate, just go to Smash's Facebook page. No offense, but there's a lot of anger and "salt" there.
It's not like I wished for another FE character or anything; yet you don't see me ranting after his reveal despite the fact that he has yet another counter move. I think Corrin looks cool, though.

Awesome character choice, IMO. Better than Ryu by far.

@rjejr Well, I really think the game is very generous with free plays. That's why I go to the Badge Arcade almost everyday because there's like a 70% chance I will get a free play. This is probably the most generous F2P game I've ever played, so I don't really think the game is limiting with free plays.

@rjejr Finally, someone who actually believes Subspace Emissary 2 can actually be a thing with amiibo (well, I'm guessing that's what you mean because telling by your mood, you might well mean something else :winking:).
I mean, what describes an amiibo adventure starring Nintendo characters and villains coming together to stop a malicious evil better than Subspace Emissary 2? I get that most people disliked it, but it's perfect for a toys-to-life game, IMO. You could level up your characters, give them gear, traverse through varieties of Nintendo worlds.... Dang, the possibilities are endless.

@Xenocity Yeah, I can't really disagree with you. I'm very much guessing some group of people will be mad following the Direct. And I too wouldn't be happy if some characters got in the game in place of the ones that seem too obvious.

Well, since I'm going to be broke on my Christmas shopping, I wasn't really going to buy this at the $30 price tag. I'll be keeping my eye out on it when the price is reduced, though.
Is it too late? Well, better late than never but I still think it's pretty late. Ah well, Minecraft is a big thing so I guess it could still perform well on the Wii U.
It's mind of weird inventory management using the GamePad isn't supported, but I guess it's not out of the question yet.

@JaxonH Not to mention the Paper Jam forum on this very site is still full of complaints about how Miyamoto or some other Nintendo higher-up ruined the game because the only interesting characters are the Koopalings. -_-

I still hope Inklings and/or Professor Layton is confirmed for Smash. The former seems more likely, too. I'm not willing to buy DLC (especially Smash's), but I'd but those two characters in an instant.

Pineapple on pizza is arguably one of the very best things that has happened to pizza, period. Granted, some pizza joints do it wrong, but if you're in the US I suggest eating Barros Pizza's pineapple on pizza. Just outstanding!
And this is coming from someone who hates pineapples (hate that stinging feeling it does to your mouth).

I'm just joking, but seriously: Mario Kart 8 is just blows MK7 out of the water in almost everything. As for the stages,I did like a few MK7 stages like Music Park and Neo Bowser City. On the top of myhead, I certainly loved Maple Treeway as a Retro stage.

Surprise Direct (well, not so much a surprise anymore) announcing a Zelda U demo of one dungeon available for download after the Direct.
I don't want to get my hopes up, though. I guess we'll have to wait!

Not sure what people were expecting, either way. I couldn't care less either, because I don't play mobile games as much as I play console/handheld games.

@shani: LOL... of course the NX was just a codename. More the reason why I say those who think the NX will be released next year are pretty much coming to very pre-mature conclusions.
I do wonder what's going behind Nintendo's doors... on one hand I'm very excited to finally see what it is (handheld or console); on the other hand I just hope Nintendo can pull this off (especially if the NX is a console). I also hope we have more Wii U games to play as I've really enjoyed that system. _{But I want a little bit more XD}

I still stand behind my reasoning (albeit some silly accusation) and think the NX (home console) will be released in 2017 after it is revealed at E3.

I don't know why you guys were expecting a price of $20 or more. I always knew this game would be $15; I'd be shocked if it wasn't.
