@3dcaleb It will more than likely Stream from a PC for the full library and play indies and Valve games (Due to SteamOS). Thing is most of those indies are already on the Vita. At the moment there is Civilisation V / Borderlands 2 & Pre Sequel and Football Manger + Valve + indies.

@PlywoodStick No way to touch any of that part from usermode none of the dangerous things are possible. (Same way you cannot just copy downloads as it is from someone elses 3DS to your sdcard). Absolute worst thing that could happen is the sdcard gets corrupt (Can be put back in and the stuff downloaded again no problem whatsoever).

Broken Age is nowhere near as good as it should be. (It will be more obvious when Grim Fandango is re-released soon).

Legend of Grimrock 2 and Astebreed are glaring omissions from the indie category. (Both great examples of the types of games they are - better execution than Shovel Knight for certain).

They should actually win some some this time. (That is not to say they will).

Astebreed should have been in best indie. (Transistor I think is better than Shovel Knight as well just because its more inventive).

Every time I see Visual Concepts I think that is the one acquisition Nintendo should have definitely done when Sega was selling it.

Bravely Default is the genuinely worst thing I have played to the end this year. (Think it was this year - first week in January).

@StarDust4Ever Not really one figure is worldwide one is just the US. (Might mean the whole region or the literal United States).

@brewsky I mean working indistinguishably from real hardware. No noticeable changes switching from the VC to Real Hardware and back again. (For me on GBA - Tested Warioware : INC - tiny difference at the absolute best I can do on the grid but otherwise its just the same),

SNES I compared Super Mario World (Super Famicom cart / Wii VC / bsnes / Wii U VC). Ignoring the awful filter. bsnes or the cart are fine. Wii VC is not quite right but not that different. Wii U VC is wrong. (Connecting to a CRT doesn't make any difference).

@Nintendobro He definitely isn't lazy but I think him doing something else would be more enjoyable for me. (Kid Icarus : Uprising is my favourite kind of game - not a sequel really good unexpectedly). Very rare something like that happens - he is one of the few people who has done so recently.

@Giygas_95 Problem is the NES emulator doesn't work properly (The GBA one is great).

There is one that is a cross between Monster Hunter that looks quite good. Guild of Hunters.

@TRON I think the PSP or DS (Or GBA even) have much better titles than the 3DS or Vita.

(And more variety and loads more of them).

Almost all 3DS stuff is Wii technology not properly optimised.

(Smash Bros / ALBW show what it should be like).

For me anyway only 60fps games are worth considering which discounts most stuff on the 3DS or that Sony has. (Wii U is much better).

There are no valid excuses whatsoever for the PS4 not being 60fps all the time. (I refuse to believe the people making these games do not realise that it is always better).

@Kaze_Memaryu If they want it binding (And to be taken seriously) they need to do it in the same way they do for devkits. (Side effect is there is no way I would sign an NDA type agreement prior to buying a console).

There is not one Curve Studios game that works well enough for me that I want to play. (Thomas was Alone worked ok but I wasn't interested in it).

KoF XIII is the gold standard everyone should be aiming for sprite based.

If sprites are not integer scaled they look fuzzy.

@GreatPlayer You are right if Lost World was reskinned with Nintendo characters (Like say Kirby) it would have got a 9 here.

@Grumblevolcano What I don't understand is why after the metacritic for Assassins Creed Unity (And Watchdogs) is so high but the games are garbage people don't think something shady is going on. (And with the price tanking for Ubisoft after about 2 weeks consistently people get stuff straight away).

@TeeJay GTA V was embargoed as long as it possibly could have been.

@retro_player_22 Why doesn't this fall into the exemption for Commentary and Criticism ? (Otherwise stuff like screenshots on Wikipedia wouldn't be allowed). There are loads of unofficial game guides (With screenshots) and if it wasn't ok then something would have happened by now legally.

@Knuckles Review copies come with restrictions. The world would be better without them. (For NSMBU one of the restrictions was not mentioning Rock Candy Mines). Without them the incentive to write in a way that means you are going to continue to get more is gone.

@Mega719 I will get it for Wii U if I get the opportunity but if it was for the Wii I would import it immediately. I guess it depends what the plan is. (If it just stays in Japan on the current systems they have lost money).

I wish they were doing this to MK8.

The only reason it should ever need to be on the figure is if you want to use it with somebody elses Wii U. Backing up and restoring should be something you can do.

@Dave24 The original is a flash game. Rebirth is completely reprogrammed properly. (To the extent Nicalis ever does anyway).

Just Crystalis left on GBC that I am interested in when I get Bionic Commando : Elite Forces. (Possibly Dragon Quest III but I think it is unlikely and the new mobile version will probably be based on the SFC best version).

The main thing is at the moment only the Japanese version supports the Circle Pad Pro. If that is changed I will get it.

@Agent721 On a CRT ? That makes the most difference. All Stars or World on the Super Famicom or anything on the NTSCU Wii is pretty much just the same for me anyway. (I have specifically tested it).

Plus most people are going on the NES port of his not the Arcade which is the gold standard. (With a Arcade joystick as it was supposed to be played)

@rjejr I doubt they will ever change the name from Mario Kart even if it turns into Nintendo Kart from the start (See the addition of Xenoblade Chronicles to X when the original name was much better).

That is a bit annoying I am bored to death of all the normal ones other than Mount Wario (That never seems to come up).

@Xamorus Microsoft is doing just fine. Surface is profitable now. Sorting out the parts of Nokia they bought obviously was going to cost. Even wasting loads of money (Skype / Minecraft / Nokia) makes no difference in the long term.

@LDXD I think that is a bit optimistic. When they are running at 720p/30fps it is going to need a fair bit of power to run properly. (Especially deliberately unoptimized stuff). Mine was upgraded in 2012 but even though it should be fine. (2 7950 + Crossfire). In reality I am not sure it will be.

@JaxonH Poor value if you compare it to say the MK8 DLC. (That amount of content but across many games would be fair).

How much is the Wii U one going to cost is it £20 like the RRP of the Steam version ? (It being incomplete it shouldn't be £40 like e.g the Xbone version).

These prices are not that crazy I got mine with MK8 and NSMBU (32GB) for £200 (Might have been £220).

Nintendo Land is £8-£10 brand new.

Paper Monsters already supports icade might as well use that.

(People always seem to use it supports physical controls as a positive without actually checking whether the original does anyway).

@HandheldGuru97 Do you have the PC Engine LT ? That is the impressive one I think. Screen is still great today. (Certainly ten years ahead of the junk NIntendo used).

@JeffreyG For stuff children are going to play with you need high quality otherwise they break pretty much immediately. No collector is going to be smashing them together all the time.
