@PlywoodStick More important is UHS uses more pins so the card would be in a backwards compatibility mode. (I have one Sansdisk Ultra Mobile card that corrupts all the time if it is used without being in a proper UHS device but is otherwise fine).

It does make a difference because the model numbers are different in the UK.

@Morph Problem is the low standards that mean people who care about this type of nonsense (and not games) can get into positions like this. Even worse is the influence even a few can have. Publishers care about metacritic to the extent that they don't care about 60fps because they think it doesn't affect the score. Even a few marking down for these petty reasons will affect the score hence what games get made.

Looks like junk. If I am going to buy something I want it made properly. It is the kind of thing I would have made as a school project using perspex and off the shelf parts.

It is an absolute joke it works so badly compared to the DSi (i.e time to start a game).

@Einherjar I cannot think of any update that has resulted in better performance (I can think of many that have resulted in worse performance). Something becoming slower is making it objectively worse. (Rebooting from a cold boot which I do when my 3DS is in my pocket because in standby it tends to dislodge the cart and have that black screen with white writing now takes ages longer than it used to).

@LordOfGamez Sega's Platform makes perfect sense. (Cabinet looks a bit like the one for Let's Go Jungle! (Same logic could be used as to why Nintendo is promoting MH4U - it is on Nintendo's Platform).

How can a 3DS game be definitive when the previous version also was on the Wii U ? Either that or they don't understand the meaning of the word. (Doing the same as last time would leave the Wii U the best version so by definition this version is not definitive).

Tesco still sells the MK8 bundle at a more normal price.

I got MK7 from them on a whim for £17 yesterday. (Dunno why really).

Maybe they will actually put some content into the game this time.

@Tiredman Sonic Lost World was just fine. (Better than Captain Toad/NSMBU anyway). Any problems are the fault of the player not the game. Sonic Boom was contracted out. (Sega do seem to get screwed over by developers all the time. Gearbox should have gone bankrupt for Alien Isolation).

@BLPs AM2 is also conveniently ignored. (The best team is still that one). Border Break grossed 100,000,000$ and it is an Arcade game.

@Porky I don't think they are infrequent and if they do happen there are no proper repair tools. (You can end up with a game that cannot be copied or deleted) and trying to the copy hard locks the system.

@JaxonH My main hope is on Splatoon being one of the best selling Wii U games. (If that does happen then it will send a good message to Nintendo that a great game made from a great idea can be successful).

I am going to get Codename Steam but I am not expecting any great miracles when it comes to sales.

Dunno about Fire Emblem I am (still) enjoying the GBA VC Fire Emblem more than I did Awakening. (I did finish Awakening on hard with 2 or 3 restarts but I feel as if wasn't a clean win. The GBA one it feels like I have won in a fair way).

@argh4430 There is not that many that are very good at least that are on a current platform when it comes to run n gun.

Romancing SaGa 3 - I think I want that more than almost anything in the Square Enix backcatalog (Proper English release).

@Quorthon Far too much 30fps rubbish (i.e nearly all of it) on both of those consoles. TotalXbox actually seemed to get it for a second (Bet they forget conveniently pretty soon though).

@Dogpigfish That statistic is deliberately misleading like nearly all of the rubbish produced by such people. (Most of the time it is debunked when somebody who understands the Maths bothers to but not before it affects government and corporate policy).

There is lots more women who play casual games and there is a few genres (In console / PC gaming) where there are a reasonable proportion of women playing them.

That statistic counts anybody who has ever played a game. (Play Pacman once in the early 80's it counts even if you never touched a game since).

I much prefer KoF (60fps) to Streetfighter.

If this can happen I don't understand why e.g Wayforward / Yacht Club Games had so much trouble. (Unless they are lying and using the profits from the USA release to pay for the ESRB fees).

I hope for more of the buy x amount of recent games get another recent game free type promotions. Thing about those is I would end up with something I wouldn't be willing to buy but if I did happen to buy it then I would buy the next entry.

@GreatPlayer Burning Depths - Trick is use Amy's Speed Mod. Can just play it normally like any other track then.

Reason I stopped playing it is the exploit where you fail a stunt boost and then flip back. (And that there are trainers that work on the latest version - too many Brazilians with unlimited items / boosts).

So looks like it was less broken than Assassins Creed Unity presuming it works ok now.

@Luna-Harmony But with Blu-Ray it is the choice of the company making the content whether to lock it or not. A decent amount is Region AB (Which all apart from Russia / China).

@JaxonH Other alternative is just add English to the Japanese release which for the Vita people are doing. Apparently the Japanese version of the updated Bravely Default release can do that as well.
