Well ... to be perfectly honest I keep having difficulties getting this one off the ground for some reason. I jump in. It seems fun. I knock out a bit of ground but then ... just completely stall out and get distracted over to a different game. Not sure what my problem is on this one as I usually love open world gameplay.
I've been playing this on PC off and on for a while. I would label it as a very quirky little indy gem. Considering how small the team is I'm not at all surprised that they are doing a cloud release. They struggled with PC issues for quite some time and I haven't checked back to see if the Linux version issues ever did get ironed out. Any how, if you don't have a separate system to play this on I would definitely recommend checking out this version.
I would love to revisit this one. I played it for a while and was really enjoying it, but after taking a break for a bit due to life interruptions I couldn't remember what I was supposed to do next and eventually gave up in frustration.
When I got ahold of The Last Story I was disappointed. My expectations may have been set wrong but I just expected a whole lot better story than what was executed. I would be much more interested in seeing Pandora's Tower brought over!
Pearl was the first Pokémon game that I got to play and I really enjoyed it! Never finished it though, due to reasons beyond my control at the time. My wife and I are picking up both to jump in and enjoy!
I've had tons of fun with this one on the PC! It was a lot more fun than I had expected. Highly recommended. Just may pick it up for the Switch as well so that I can easily continue the fun on some long flights.
It wouldn't have been so bad if it was in there from the beginning, but the way it was just shoehorned in here really killed any desire I had to play the game. I had been enjoying some of the gardening events and the game felt like it was ok to play as a free player, but not so anymore. I'll just stick to Pokemon Shuffle, a game that I feel is actually worth putting a bit of money into.
Here in NA I wasn't able to patch my new copy of Pokemon on the 3DS until later in the day. Fortunately it wasn't too long of a wait and my daughter had no problem with Fire Emblem Warriors!
@duducamargo I'd imagine that setting it to 3000 would result in a large amount of fragmentation as the router breaks those packets down for re-assembly on the other side. Unless do not fragment is set, in which case the connection would drop entirely. I would definitely not set it above 1500 as that is the most compatible setting. And for DSL connections 1492 is safer, albeit better to set it on your router rather than the internal nodes.
My family is AC crazy so I'll be giving this a look. I'd really have preferred if they had gone the Super Mario Run route with a one time payment though. I don't like the idea of constantly looking at a money sink.
@darkswabber The store update applies to both the digital and cart versions. It enabled being able to buy the season pass through the game, but unfortunately still doesn't enable you to apply a code obtained outside the eshop.
I don't have a Switch yet so I had no qualms over getting this for my 3DS. I definitely don't regret the purchase as I've been having a blast with the game! Wish there was a Wii U version. I am unimpressed that I can't redeem my season pass code so far. Should have gotten that part through the eshop rather than Amazon.
I'm surprised at how many for ActRaiser. I certainly expected more to be for Chrono Trigger or Earthbound. I'm fully behind ActRaiser though! SMW, F-Zero and ActRaiser were amongst my first SNES games and it is hard to say which one I played the most.
That's a blast from the past! I grew up in Michigan so Faygo was all part of life. I never even realized when I moved away that I don't see Faygo in the stores anymore.
I'm sad about this. Miiverse was really something for Animal Crossing groups connecting together easily. And the Miiverse integration in a bunch of the games was pretty fun. Bye-bye bottles in Zelda!
I'll miss Miiverse. It added some interesting flavor to Mario and some other games. Where I'll definitely miss it is in the AC community. Lots of activity and fun had over there! I wish they had brought it to the Switch as I felt that Miiverse had a certain special something that you don't get from a more generic online community like Twitter or Facebook.
There's a possibility that it is a specific glitch related to this weekend only. A timezone related issue. I had several different service providers lose hours to the entire weekend of data that the only reason I can come up with is not being able to cope properly with the time change in whatever timezones their servers with my data reside in.
I know my daughter will have a blast with this one. It looks a bit rough around the edges but could still be a lot of fun. And the troll is definitely ugly.
@plug313 I'm with you on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. I've been having an absolute blast with that game! It has been the highlight of my year and one of the most fun JRPGs I've played in a long while.
Yech, not a fan of this director. He's put out many a disappointment. Though I'll confess to having actually enjoyed Event Horizon. But I was horribly disappointed with The Three Musketeers.
Definitely on board with this one! Looks like some good and fast paced fun. It is pretty exciting to see all of this support coming out for the Switch early on.
Ouch, those load times really are terrible. I definitely won't be considering this until I hear that the load times are patched up. Sonic Boom already pushes my tolerance for load times a bit too much.
I had a blast with both Super Mario World and F-Zero when I got my SNES for Christmas! I remember dreaming F-Zero it was just so fast.
It was an interesting dynamic around my school. Nobody got made fun of for the systems that they invested in. Had a friend with his Genesis and another guy with his TG-16. We all had fun going over and playing each others' systems. Though it did become clear pretty early that the TG-16 was inferior. I think there were slightly more SNES owners than Genesis owners in my area. I didn't know anyone with a Neo Geo.
To be honest this video got me interested. Once I set aside my disappointment that there isn't a real AC game coming to the Wii U combined with the horrible sneak peak at E3, this looks very interesting. A bit more laid back board game with some Fortune Street notes. I'm definitely pulling an attitude 180 and am very interested in this game.
I definitely prefer to get a physical copy if at all possible. I enjoy the box covers they put together and at least used to enjoy the physical manuals that came with them. Unfortunately that is extremely rare these days, but even then I would like to get the box. I also prefer having the physical media available for easy portig over to a different system if necessary. If my Wii U croaks and I need to purchase a new one I won't have to wait for things to download and don't have to worry about digital space management. Much easier for me to just shift things around on my shelves.
I definitely like the idea of the original concept with the little girl and the dinosaurs. I think it could have gone in an interesting direction. Too bad we'll never see it!
I picked up this game earlier this year hoping to really like it but unfortunately I found that it just didn't fit my tastes. I could definitely see the potential in it though, for the right audience. It is a shame it didn't do better.

Re: NYXI Reveals A GameCube-Inspired Switch Controller With No Drifting
Looking at the product's purchase page:
Connectivity: Wireless(Bluetooth) Wired (USB-C)
So it does appear to support bluetooth. Pictures also talk about rumble. There's also an axis image on one of the pics so it may support gyro.
https://nyxigaming.com/products/nyxi-wizard-wirleless-joy-pad-for-switch-switch-oled
Can't find a support documentation page though, for more details. Maybe they will have one up soon?
