Finally something I'm interested in. Kirby's Dream Course locked in! Can't wait until the wife gets home to play!

I can't say it is unexpected but I'm still bummed about the news as I dislike playing MH3U on the 3DS but love it on the Wii U.

My guess is that there are 3 new characters coming in the DLC that are not the 3 boss characters that are being released in the upcoming update. I'm looking forward to the DLC! Ordered it yesterday.

@SetupDisk nice timing on that! I knew I should've taken a vacation ... oh well, there's always Bayonetta 2 that I could use my time for.

I just need to swing by the store to pick up my copy. They open in 15 minutes. But unfortunately it is looking like work issues are going to keep me stuck at my computer for a while. Very annoying.

Disappointing, but I won't let it stop me from picking the game up. I don't own the other consoles and I don't have a gaming PC.

So far I'm leaning toward the gameplay is skewed in favor of items based on a lot of my racing online and against the computer.

It doesn't bother me with this release. I'll be interested in getting it when there's a game or two released for it that I'm interested in but until that point I probably won't get one unless my current 3DS goes belly up. I use my Wii U more than my 3DS anyhow. It is not like this new system will make all the current games stop working, and developers will continue to release targeting the original 3DS hardware for a while.

Fortunately just enough time between Hyrule Warriors and this. It is going to be a pretty exciting few months for the rest of the year!

@Wonkers I do not see any problem with their mentioning the content as it is helpful to parents that check out reviews prior to getting this game for their kids. I know I don't plan on playing this around my kids.

I've enjoyed the few installments of DW I played on a friend's Xbox so I'm quite excited to be getting a hold of this title. 7/10 doesn't read as a failure to me.

Too bad Dragon Quest Heroes isn't coming to the Wii U. That one would definitely grab my interest.

I would love for this news to be true. I've been playing MH3U on my Wii U lately and having a blast. Absolutely no interest in getting it for the 3DS as I didn't enjoy the demo of MH3U on the 3DS. But I'm expecting that this isn't happening.

I remember having a whole lot of fun back when this was originally released. I may have to pick it up to see how well my skills have aged decades later. I don't think I even connected it to the Street Fighter series at the time.

Ok, I'm sold. Can't wait to upgrade!

Already played through Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii so while I think it is an exciting release it won't be driving me to pick up the system. I'll probably upgrade once there is a game I'm really interested in. Or if they came out with a great purple model!

I may have to pick up this one as I had a huge amount of fun and frustration with it back in the days of when video stores existed AND rented out video games.

I was lucky enough to own both systems as a kid. I definitely played the SNES more but I still had a blast with Sonic 1 & 2 and Castlevania: Bloodlines! I much prefer the rivalry of the Sega vs. Nintendo days rather than the Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo bit that goes on.

@daveh30 Alternatively you can hit the home button on your wiimote, navigate to turn the display off with the key pad, and then you don't have to worry about picking up/putting down the gamepad.

Personally I won't see much improvement from this update. I usually used the whole process of booting up the Wii U to get settled into the couch, arrange my coffee and so forth. No time savings for me!

Definitely excited about this one! Though a bit sad about losing the Harvest Moon name. Story of Seasons isn't too bad of a name though.

Looks like something my wife would enjoy helping out with from time to time but most likely will end up a single player crawl.

I'm really excited for this one, it looks like a great improvement on A New Beginning.

I love DW games but for some reason this just couldn't get my excitement levels up. Not quite sure why. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Never played the arcade original though I did eye it a number of times. Looks like fun!

Personally I'm glad it isn't remade into 3d graphics as I love the hand drawn stuff. There's not enough around these days.

I remembered the incomplete version that was unveiled at GenCon. I had a blast playing that. The lines got so long to play. Can't wait to get my hands on this again.

Best eshop news I've seen! I loved those D&D side scrollers. Spent so much time at GenCon playing those.

Count me in on the excitement too! I've loved the Rune Factory series since the first one came out.

I for one will be sad to see them go. I loved their games back in the SSI days.

I preordered this one and got my copy last Saturday. Been playing whenever I have spare time. I can definitely report this game as being awesome. Except that pesky bard. He's a royal pain.
