Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Is Japan's Fastest-Selling Switch Game

Maybe because I am a "casual" Pokemon fan, but I played it 3 hours straight yesterday before bed and loved it.

No more random encounters, I really enjoy the RAID and Gym battles. Yes the cut Pokemon is bad, but it is making me appreciate other Pokemon, as I have a Gen 1/2 bias. It looks nice aswell, not mind blowning, but I primarily handheld as I travel alot with work, so it looks pretty great! Also managed to get it for around £25 by selling the Steelbook and DLC, so can't complain!

Re: Doraemon Story Of Seasons Heads West On Switch This Autumn

History of Doraemon on English TV:

Disney XD aired two seasons of the the 2005 anime from 2014-2015. It was a tad edited (names, music and some Japanese items), but the voices fitted with Mona Marshall playing the titular character. Season 3 has yet to air.

In the UK there was a dub produced by LUK international, the European distributor of Doraemon. There were around 26 episodes produced, these had the US name changes, but no edits, no music changes and there was a lovely Opening theme dubbed in English: https://youtu.be/5jL7OnZDSJ4

Doraemon has always been hard to translate, as it is iconically Japanese. Also it is the middle ground of appealing to Japanese children, but still shows things that can't air on US network television without edits.

Very happy this is coming though!

These games have been my guilty pleasure since the 1st one.

Luckily I have lived in the UK and got all that were released here.

This one better get localised, as the others were only Nintendo published, wonder if this will be a Switch Exclusive? Unless Sony takes the reigns on the PS4 version. But definitely Switch version all the way!

@Moon I'm wondering if it will be dubbed or not? As their was a 2004 dub for the UK or using the Funimation dub (which is much ruder, so I can't imagine it being on there, also it was not licensed in the UK by Funimation). So it will be a nice surprise, since I really enjoy Shin Chan.

Re: Review: Super Strike Beach Volleyball (3DS eShop)

I would love a full fledged either indoor Volleyball or Beach Volleyball game, I have played the sport for 10 years now, and there hasn't been that great of a game for the sport. But this looks quirky, will pick it up.

I would love a Inazuma Eleven Style Volleyball game, or Haikyuu game release (I know there is a japan only 3DS game, but apparently it sucks...)

I have more of a soft spot for the 3D Sonic Stages, I adored Sonic Generations modern Sonic Stages, they worked perfectly. I grew up on 2D Sonic, but the speed on the 3D levels was always more appealing to me. It's needs to be Sonic Generations 2, it will be the best of both worlds and it will cater to both fans! MAKE IT HAPPEN SEGA!

@GoldenGamer88 Me too - Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle, Rogue Galaxy, Professor Layton, White Knight Chronicles, Fantasy Life, Inazuma Eleven series, LBX and Yokai (whens it in the UK). I loved them all, its actually crazy that there is not even one that I dislike. This looks really fun as well, I'm loving the style and the charm. Its hard to believe this was dubbed already and I'm liking it,
