First time I hear of this one but very interested. Rayman is the only thing I care about from Ubisoft and I like some roguelikes so it sounds good to me.
I love rhythm games but not this one. Story and characters are meh and the boss Battles are terrible. Instead of playing a song you just repeat a given pattern and if you miss you have the redo the whole thing.
In general the soundtrack is forgettable.
Pocket Card Jockey is my preferred non pokemon Gamefreak title.
I guess this was supposed to be an extra like the Jeanne minigame but decided to sell it by itself, maybe fleshing it out a bit more as it is taking 6 months to release.
My issue is with the demo being so brief and incomplete (demo of a demo) and that price tag as this is niche among the niche. Maybe the NSO thing is what they are thinking of as you say.
I love Bayonetta but I hated this. Style over substance. It is beyond me how an IP so focused in combat ignores this in the demo, and the price tag is insane, even for Nintendo. Your indie comments are spot on.
They should just put it in the eShop instead of cynically removing the requirements to have people trying it by any means so we buy it.
Never saw it coming but so excited. People who say Splatoon 2 is a slight upgrade from 1 should go back to the original and play it again. 1 feels like a prototype although I still prefer the music.
This could still be nearly 2 years away so not that soon. Nice to see they trust the IP enough for it to close the Direct. I guess sales figures have helped.
I support the Gen An interest, per an interview I once read, Gen An is like the only character that survived from the original pitch that had monsters instead of samurai as fighters.
I love this game (hence my avatar) but I havent bought the rehash as I havent heard of improvements, only issues so I will try this demo to see if it is worth double dipping.
I picked this up last week and I love it. Nice, polished homage to the series, makes you appreciate how good some of these songs really are. No need to like or know the series to enjoy it but it definitely helps.
KH 1.5 and 2.5 should be ported to Switch, they are PS3 games so they should not be too demanding.
So there are no Adventure Maps like in the original HW? That was the only thing that kept me playing the game, as the story never held my interest. Not sure that the extra activities in the map will compensate, as most of them seemed very short and the material giving ones are over in a flash.
I always use the inverted option for aiming/camera so it should have been there from the start, specially since it was the way the original played so people were used to that.
I love Platinum but I dont like this one. Too anime/superhero movie for me with cliched characters, convoluted and self important story and a few attempts at humour that fall flat. It feels more like a Kojima game than a Platinum title. The geek character is even named Hal. Really?
Combat is decent but Bayonetta excels on that department. The levels are overlong, for an action game it makes them feel repetitive.
I found the final boss ridiculously overpowered and a huge difficulty spike compared to any other boss before. Beat the game and never went back to it.

Re: Samba De Amigo: Party Central's Song List Has Ariana Grande Headlining
I know only a couple of songs by name so I will have to look up the rest to see.
Re: Countdown: 3DS eShop Spotlight - Pocket Card Jockey
Definitely my favorite Gamefreak game. Nice in short bursts and a quirky sense of humor. More luck than skill sometimes but again, it is a card game.

Re: Review: Blanc - A Perfectly Pleasant Co-op Experience With Gorgeous Visuals
So this has online co op but the full priced Kirby doesnt?
I will get it as it looks adorable. Kinda like Never Alone, a simple, short co op game.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2023 Nintendo Direct?
I havent enjoyed a Direct so much in ages. Pikmin and Samba de Amigo were my favorites, followed by totk and Prime 1.
Re: Piczle Lines 2: Into the Puzzleverse Is Bringing More Picross-Meets-Sudoku Tasks To Switch
I liked the first one, a truckload of puzzles although the biggest ones took hours to finish.

Re: Review: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration - A Painstaking Love Letter To Gaming's Pioneers
@Teksetter
Bummer. I loved Empire Strikes Back with its many options and things like weak points and smart bombs.
And seeing the list posted by @kiyata makes me want to wait on a sale. Thanks Kiyata!
Re: Review: Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration - A Painstaking Love Letter To Gaming's Pioneers
So no Activision games? They had a lot of great games on 2600: Pitfall, Hero, Enduro, River Raid.

Re: Beep Beep! Taxi Chaos Takes Its Directions From Crazy Taxi, Coming To Switch On February 23rd
As most People here I am cautiously optimistic. Fine line between homage amd rip off and controls could make or break this.
Re: Mini Review: PUSS! - Strangely Compelling Nightmare Fuel
Had no idea this existed, it really looks interesting.
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Members Get Free Trial Of Crash Team Racing
I will try it then although I am not really into kart racers.
Re: A Crazy Taxi Spiritual Successor Is Coming To Switch Next Year, And Sega Is (Sort Of) Involved
I always played the original without music so I would not miss it. The voices got old after a while.
This one just looks like a rip off but since Sega wont bother.
Re: Sephiroth From Final Fantasy VII Joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate This Month
Man Sakurai really likes swords.

I also want more info about KOF15.
Re: 'A Merry Hyrule Christmas' Album Blends Zelda Classics With Beloved Festive Carols
I actually wrote Eric on Twitter to suggest "Tingle Bells" to be added.
Re: PlatinumGames Releases A Demo For The Wonderful 101: Remastered, And You Can Play As Wonder-Bayonetta
@AlexSora89
I find it more reasonable than Activision's demo for Crash Bandicoot 4, only available for digital preorders of the game.

Man, portable Okami for $10 is super tempting.

Cant stop thinking Ratchet & Clank with that name. Looks interesting.

I hate to post pics here so I sent you a tweet.
Re: Devious Dataminers May Have Unearthed The Entire Playable Cast Of Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity
@rjejr
I think and hope Purah is the closest we get to Lana. Not a fan of that generic anime girl.
Re: Devious Dataminers May Have Unearthed The Entire Playable Cast Of Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity
@ToadBrigade
The original HW already let us play as some villains.
Also, it is possible some characters are playable in other modes and thus they can add odd choices to make it more interesting and not being canon.
Re: Devious Dataminers May Have Unearthed The Entire Playable Cast Of Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity
It does not sound bad if true. Riju is one of my favorite characters in BotW.
Probably will have DLC as Purah and Robbie should be playable too.
Re: Random: Dataminer Uncovers List Of Words That Might Get You Banned In The New Kingdom Hearts Game
This wont affect my decision to buy the game. Demo was fun but nothing amazing.
Re: Rumour: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity May Be Getting A Playable Demo
Yes, please. Not only all games should have demos but all demos should carry your progress to the game should you decide to buy it.
Re: You'll Soon Be Able To Invert The Camera Controls In Super Mario 3D All-Stars
I always use the inverted option for aiming/camera so it should have been there from the start, specially since it was the way the original played so people were used to that.
Re: Gallery: Lots Of Gorgeous Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Screenshots Appear
@Bizzyb
True. I wonder if they will go with the season pass approach again. If it ends up as meaty as the original I would not mind paying extra.
Re: Gallery: Lots Of Gorgeous Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Screenshots Appear
I wish they confirm the Adventure maps for this one or something similar. That is where I spent most of my time in the original.
Re: NPD Analyst Thinks Limited-Time 3D Mario Games Will Be Sold Individually On Switch
Sell them individually and add Galaxy 2 so I can only buy the ones I like.
Re: Video: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Trailer Shows Breath Of The Wild's Hestu In Action
One month to go. This has me very excited!
Re: Frame Rate And Resolution For Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo Seemingly Revealed
Sounds like a third party port on a Nintendo system. Late, full price and not taking advantage of the console's power and features.
Re: New Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Trailer Shows Breath Of The Wild's Robbie and Purah
@marandahir
Nice. I only got the original HW so I never played the other maps you mention. An insane amount of content.
Re: New Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Trailer Shows Breath Of The Wild's Robbie and Purah
Loved this trailer. I am hoping Adventure Mode is there as that was my favorite part of HW.
Re: Koei Tecmo Hopes To Make "More Interesting Games" Like Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity In The Future
Never thought a Musou game would be the 2020 Switch game that would excite me the most but here we are. Thanks Aonuma for approaching KT.
Loved the first HW so I am dying to play this one. As for suggestions maybe a Kingdom Hearts one?
Re: Minecraft's Steve Revealed As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Next DLC Fighter
Yay? Whats next, a Fortnite character?
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Fall Update Is 'Around The Corner', Says Nintendo
@JeanPaul
Cool. I am missing some flowers entirely so I will be getting there someday. Those breeding guides are very useful.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Fall Update Is 'Around The Corner', Says Nintendo
Got it in August so I am kinda new but still enjoying it. I am into flower breeding lately.
Re: Random: Can You Hear That? Sounds Like Super Mario Galaxy 2 Music In 3D All-Stars
I won't believe Galaxy 2 is in there until I see a real confirmation and I will not buy this until I know it is there.
If they want to sell it on its own later, I would buy that.
Re: We're Getting A New Pocky & Rocky Game On Nintendo Switch

Re: Super Mario 3D All-Stars Lands On Switch On 18th September, And It's A Limited-Time Thing
If the original Super Mario All Stars had 4 games, this should have 4 games too. Specially when the best game is the one being left out.
Re: Nintendo Announces Super Mario Remasters In Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct
@skulltulips
I am very disappointed. Galaxy 2 is amazing and if they are doing the first one they could do it all the way. Should at least be DLC.
