@PixlBitStudios

Your game is pretty good.

Button inputs cant come soon enough and with them I would love the option of using the TV screen to play. In the small screen sometimes the hint columns get out of view so I make mistakes because of it.

Also my neck is hurting from looking down at the gamepad.

Hello. Congrats on your first game. Question before I buy: does the game tell you right away when you make a mistake or do you have to wait until later that something doesnt click?

Also love that 'solve without guessing' thing. I hate that random element of luck in a puzzle game.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?

sinalefa

Miitomo is not available in Costa Rica as per NoA but it looks terrible anyway.

My Nintendo is convoluted and confusing with its double currency. The only good part is things like Zelda Picross: small, exclusive games whose price is not too high, specially with coins expiring so soon. I miss the codes on physical games.

Re: Review: Miitomo (Mobile)

Don't like Facebook, Miiverse or Tomodachi so I will gladly skip this.

If the Wii crowd migrated to phones and tablets, it makes a ton of sense to have an app like this.

Re: Talking Point: Pokémon and Mega Man Show Us Extremes of Nostalgia's Value

If Capcom had sold the amiibo individually I wouldn't be getting the collection. But at least I only have 2 of the games, only one on 3DS. Thankfully the Wolf Link amiibo can be bought on its own, worldwide.

Regarding Pokemon, I have issues going back to HG/SS, so I will probably be skipping those. I do think they are using the titles themselves and their nostalgia to overprice them.

Re: Super Mario Maker Picks Up Family Game Of The Year Award At DICE 2016

@rjejr

"but when a game like Rocket League wins all those awards, why couldn't Wii U get that?"
"You mean NX right? Wii U isn't getting anything anymore."

So Wii U or not Wii U? Make up your mind already

I don't want a NX to play a port of an old, overrated indie game, and I don't think anyone wants that either. Anyway, there are games like the P* Activision games that should have gone to Wii U and didn't. Unless NX takes off in a Wii like manner, I don't see Western third parties getting anywhere near it.

@rjejr

Something else: Mario Maker and MGSV are the only Japanese games in that list. Go to PushSquare and see everyone amazed that Bloodborne didn't win anything. Here that spot seems reserved for Splatoon, or even X.

This is why I basically told you last year that The Game Awards were not Nintendo geared, but maybe I should have pointed to these instead.

Rocket League could be an interesting fit on Wii U, but look how long it took for X1 to get it. Maybe Wii U will get a late port at full price, Minecraft style. Customizing cars with Nintendo IP could be huge.

@abbyhitter

Meanwhile in Europe, they don't get to play FE Fates until Nintendo knows when cause there is no date.

Anyway, sounds good how you can control the encounter rate. Sometimes I feel like grinding a lot, or not at all.

@rjejr

Next week? More like next month...

I heard rumours that Street Fighter V is so meager on single player and broken serverwise because of this game.

Also this is not Atlus, why no EU release yet? Oh, it's Nintendo, nevermind.

Re: Review: Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)

This review is worthless and empty without a comment from @JaxonH, whom I should thank for convincing me to give my neglected copy of Awakening a try. If I beat it, then I will be picking up one of these, probably Birthright.

Re: Review: LEGO Marvel’s Avengers (Wii U)

sinalefa

I got the previous Lego Marvel game (the one it always crashes @rjejr's Wii U) and I played it for literally one hour. If the IP is not interesting then I don't care.

Another vote on LCU as best Lego game. No need to lean on a known property, but there are tons of parodies and references.

Re: Feature: Learning More About the Nindies Love You Wii U eShop Promotion

@Action51

Sorry for the delay. I got around 10 "stars" on FreezeMe. Controls take getting used to, the jumps are specially tricky to get, and sometimes I fall misjudging distances as it is hard to say how long the character will jump.

I don't regret the $10 I paid, but the game is definitely rough around the edges so approach with caution. I feel something like Armillo controls much better.

Re: Feature: Learning More About the Nindies Love You Wii U eShop Promotion

@Action51

To be honest I haven't even downloaded it yet. I was trying to update Smash to get Bayonetta last night but it took me like an hour and a half, so I just got FreezeMe (as today the price increased) and hit the sack. I will let you know later how I like it.

@rjejr

Trying to get Bayonetta on Smash and facing such a big game update, actually discouraging me from getting it made me think how hard Nintendo makes it sometimes to give them money. If I want to get them on 3DS I cannot do it off the eShop, I need to fire up the game.
