Button inputs cant come soon enough and with them I would love the option of using the TV screen to play. In the small screen sometimes the hint columns get out of view so I make mistakes because of it.
Also my neck is hurting from looking down at the gamepad.
Hello. Congrats on your first game. Question before I buy: does the game tell you right away when you make a mistake or do you have to wait until later that something doesnt click?
Also love that 'solve without guessing' thing. I hate that random element of luck in a puzzle game.
Miitomo is not available in Costa Rica as per NoA but it looks terrible anyway.
My Nintendo is convoluted and confusing with its double currency. The only good part is things like Zelda Picross: small, exclusive games whose price is not too high, specially with coins expiring so soon. I miss the codes on physical games.
The game was enjoyable when maps were shorter. It seems later maps take a lot of planning and time. When I saw those units on the overworld map and I said "ugh, an extra battle" instead of "cool, an extra battle" I realized the game was not for me.
If Capcom had sold the amiibo individually I wouldn't be getting the collection. But at least I only have 2 of the games, only one on 3DS. Thankfully the Wolf Link amiibo can be bought on its own, worldwide.
Regarding Pokemon, I have issues going back to HG/SS, so I will probably be skipping those. I do think they are using the titles themselves and their nostalgia to overprice them.
"but when a game like Rocket League wins all those awards, why couldn't Wii U get that?" "You mean NX right? Wii U isn't getting anything anymore."
So Wii U or not Wii U? Make up your mind already
I don't want a NX to play a port of an old, overrated indie game, and I don't think anyone wants that either. Anyway, there are games like the P* Activision games that should have gone to Wii U and didn't. Unless NX takes off in a Wii like manner, I don't see Western third parties getting anywhere near it.
Something else: Mario Maker and MGSV are the only Japanese games in that list. Go to PushSquare and see everyone amazed that Bloodborne didn't win anything. Here that spot seems reserved for Splatoon, or even X.
This is why I basically told you last year that The Game Awards were not Nintendo geared, but maybe I should have pointed to these instead.
Rocket League could be an interesting fit on Wii U, but look how long it took for X1 to get it. Maybe Wii U will get a late port at full price, Minecraft style. Customizing cars with Nintendo IP could be huge.
I am no FE expert so I should get Birthright, but the test always takes me to Conquest, which admittedly seems to have more interesting battle objectives.
This review is worthless and empty without a comment from @JaxonH, whom I should thank for convincing me to give my neglected copy of Awakening a try. If I beat it, then I will be picking up one of these, probably Birthright.
I got the previous Lego Marvel game (the one it always crashes @rjejr's Wii U) and I played it for literally one hour. If the IP is not interesting then I don't care.
Another vote on LCU as best Lego game. No need to lean on a known property, but there are tons of parodies and references.
Sorry for the delay. I got around 10 "stars" on FreezeMe. Controls take getting used to, the jumps are specially tricky to get, and sometimes I fall misjudging distances as it is hard to say how long the character will jump.
I don't regret the $10 I paid, but the game is definitely rough around the edges so approach with caution. I feel something like Armillo controls much better.
Broken record? But it is the first time you complain about Lego City being still $50! The first time today
Background downloads are awesome. While Smash was downloading I had to fire up the PS3 and play Project Diva F 2nd. That is something I love about the PS4, even firmware updates can be gotten in the background.
Easy, as we get older we have nothing to prove, so competitive gaming is not that important.
I avoid competitive games, specially online,(including MK and Smash) but Splatoon is the bright exception to this rule. Maybe because I focus on teamwork and even if you suck you can contribute to a team effort.
To be honest I haven't even downloaded it yet. I was trying to update Smash to get Bayonetta last night but it took me like an hour and a half, so I just got FreezeMe (as today the price increased) and hit the sack. I will let you know later how I like it.
@rjejr
Trying to get Bayonetta on Smash and facing such a big game update, actually discouraging me from getting it made me think how hard Nintendo makes it sometimes to give them money. If I want to get them on 3DS I cannot do it off the eShop, I need to fire up the game.

Re: Road Redemption Developer Says It's Still "Actively Pursuing Wii U Development"
I have a PS4 and Wii U. If they cancel the U version I wont buy either, just like Project CARS.
Stop being a mouthful and biting off more than you can chew.

Your game is pretty good.

Re: Interview: Solving the Puzzle of PixlCross on Wii U
@PixlBitStudios
Thanks for the quick reply. Consider it purchased and I will give you my feedback when I play it.
Thank @JaxonH for this sale and NintendoLife for the spotlight for indies. Take care!

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of My Nintendo and Miitomo?
Miitomo is not available in Costa Rica as per NoA but it looks terrible anyway.
My Nintendo is convoluted and confusing with its double currency. The only good part is things like Zelda Picross: small, exclusive games whose price is not too high, specially with coins expiring so soon. I miss the codes on physical games.
Re: Review: Miitomo (Mobile)
Don't like Facebook, Miiverse or Tomodachi so I will gladly skip this.
If the Wii crowd migrated to phones and tablets, it makes a ton of sense to have an app like this.
Re: Review: The Hand of Panda (3DS eShop)
@TurboTEF
Curtain Call has 200+ songs not counting DLC so it will last you quite a while. But Mirai is the one I always come back to. Wish it had DLC too.
Re: Review: The Hand of Panda (3DS eShop)
keeps playing Project Mirai DX and loving every minute of it
Re: TT Games Wanted To Include Mortal Kombat In The Lego Dimensions Midway Pack
Easy. Convince WB of releasing a Collection of classics, and throw a Kollection in there.
Re: Reminder: North American Gamers Can Buy an amiibo and Get Mini Mario & Friends Now
Not interested in the game and I know Amazon wont honour this based on my ip location.
Re: Video: See the Contents Spilled of the Hyrule Warriors Legends Limited Edition in our Unboxing
I took the hit and imported. Thanks NoA and thanks Nintendo for region lock.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th March (North America)
Gunstar Heroes AND Project Mirai on discount? Sega does things right once in a while.
Re: North American Pricing Confirmed for Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC and Season Pass
I want the clock/compass so I now have an unplayable region locked game.
Re: Community: Pick Your Favourite Nintendo 3DS Games - Fifth Anniversary Edition
I already rated Project Mirai DX so I am fine.

You are as cheap as you are stubborn
Funny thing is that reading the first line of your comment and the title of the article was enough to know it was LCU.
Re: Splatoon Has Now Shipped One Million Copies In Europe
If only people supported CN Steam and W101 like this.
I want my rumoured Squid Sis. Amiibo!

Re: Star Fox Guard's Japanese Site Reveals More Details About the Game
@JaxonH
Add to the difficulty playing a game in a genre I don't enjoy. P* games are hard but I beat them cause I like the gameplay.
Re: Pocket Card Jockey Comes to the 3DS This May
@rjejr
Just a bit busy at work lately. And no date for Rhythm Heaven, of course. At least Starfox is not delayed while Uncharted 4 was.
Thanks for worrying though
Re: Pocket Card Jockey Comes to the 3DS This May
Never thought they would localize it. Hopefully Picross 3D 2 won't take this long.
Re: Rhythm Heaven Megamix Dancing onto 3DS
Finally. Now I just need Picross 3D 2 and a date for this and I'll be set.
Re: Talking Point: Pokémon and Mega Man Show Us Extremes of Nostalgia's Value

Re: First Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 Footage Shown At MAGFest 2016
There is only one different letter from Red Ash to Rehash. I still hope Mighty No 9 can deliver on its promises, whenever it is released.
Re: Sega 3D Classics Developer Akira Saito Loses Battle With Cancer
It always sucks to hear about these untimely deaths.
Re: Bayonetta Could've Been in Project X Zone 2
Maybe another reason why his games sell poorly. He should take advantage of all advertising possibilities.
He will be doing a game with Drew (his new Dante) and Bayo before Capcom says yes to using Dante.

Re: Reminder: Register and Gear Up for the Pokémon Red & Blue Splatfest
The survey is kinda similar but these results (comments) are one sided.
I will be supporting Red as that was the version I chose so many years ago when this was new.

Re: Video: Take a Tour of Pokkén Tournament
16 characters, exactly the same as SFV. Rounding it out to 20 would be nice.
Re: Pokkén Tournament Is Joining The Pokémon Championship Series This Year
Can anyone explain why everything NoA does is linked to GameStop?
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th February (North America)
Cool, a Dreamcast theme!
Re: Hyper Light Drifter May Not Be Coming to Wii U
Now indies are treating Wii U like the AAA Western devs do?
So happy I didn't pledge, but I feel for the ones who did. I am still waiting on Lobodestroyo, Shantae, Mighty No9, Hive Jump, etc.
Re: Review: Bravely Second: End Layer (3DS)
@abbyhitter
Meanwhile in Europe, they don't get to play FE Fates until Nintendo knows when cause there is no date.
Anyway, sounds good how you can control the encounter rate. Sometimes I feel like grinding a lot, or not at all.
Re: Random: Nintendo Releases a Quirky Fire Emblem Fates Flowchart for Choosing Between Birthright and Conquest
I am no FE expert so I should get Birthright, but the test always takes me to Conquest, which admittedly seems to have more interesting battle objectives.
Oh well, I will keep playing Awakening then.
Re: Preview: Punching Pikachus in Pokkén Tournament
@Yorumi
Thanks a lot for sharing. Pretty good video with lots of different Pokemon.
Re: Preview: Punching Pikachus in Pokkén Tournament
Each day this game sounds better. That 2 phase battle thing could lead to very interesting strategies.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)
@rjejr
Next week? More like next month...
I heard rumours that Street Fighter V is so meager on single player and broken serverwise because of this game.
Also this is not Atlus, why no EU release yet? Oh, it's Nintendo, nevermind.

Easy, as we get older we have nothing to prove, so competitive gaming is not that important.
I avoid competitive games, specially online,(including MK and Smash) but Splatoon is the bright exception to this rule. Maybe because I focus on teamwork and even if you suck you can contribute to a team effort.
With this said, I also dislike strategy games.

Re: Nintendo Gives Us A Friendly Recap On Why We Should Be Excited About Hyrule Warriors Legends
I never completed the last two DLC Adventure maps and I don't have a new 3DS. A few extra characters just means even more grinding to level them up.
Best part of this is the Compass Watch, which means I have to import because NA is not getting it, and ending up with a game I cannot even play.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th February (North America)
I am passing this week too. I will wait on Abe's review.
