@Crono1973 Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. The Memory Pak that goes into the controller. If the connection between the two gets broken your data on the pak erases. Seems like the controller connection wasn't always secure because it happened several times. Even happened to the game boy controller pak which erased my Pokemon Red game when I popped it in to play Pokemon Stadium one day.

@Crono1973 The controller. I bought every THQ wrestling game on N64 so me & everyone I played with button mashed the Hell out of those controllers in fatal four ways & battle royals alone. Not to mention the controller tossing ragequits in Mario Kart 64.

If it allows save states on the console call me interested. My main gripe about the N64 was how your sensitive data was stored in what was probably the most abused part of a console. So many erased games & CAWs ;(

@Morrow Eh it's not really new. Rememeber Capcom during the GameCube era? If it sold well, it got a PS 2 port but if it didn't...well at least I liked Gotcha Force & PN 03 was ok. Almost expect it nowadays from 3rd party hits on Nintendo consoles.

I still have my Original Generation GBA cart somewhere. This is making me wanna dig that out & try to finish it.

Been slowing getting back into Starlink but it's another double xp weekend in Paladins & a friend often asks me to join them for a few rounds of that.

@Onion Agreed. Probably why I enjoyed Castlevania Legends so much while everyone else apparently hated it. Heck, Iga even retconned it out of the timeline.

@Arkay I'm tempted to look into that just to drive the Wii version of Blue Falcon online one more time. While overall I prefer 8, that thing was insane.

Yeah, the level designs are on the butthurt side, but at worst I thought the game was a 5/10.

@Tasuki There's no need on our end. The need is on the owners of this stuff. They saw that people were ditching cable & wanted a cut in on the action on where the money was going.

Couple all these different streaming services with ISPs throttling bandwidth for higher tiers & we may end up paying more than cable.

I just turned that thing on for the first time in months the other day.

I was reporting teammates that spent the match jumping off the stage over & over when no one wanted to join their squid party but hey, glad I didn't uninstall it.

If the vs mode has online play I may have to get this.

@Dezzy Hard to find devs that are into both sexual stuff & gameplay I guess. It does happen but it's rare.

Is it really that hard? Are any stages/bosses that are unbeatable or are there just not enough lives/continues to muscle through it?

Eh the 2nd season wasn't -that- bad. I mean it had Mega Man X in it.

@Blizzia I've tried playing that way & it does feel ok at first. My only issue was I'd keep missing opportunities to score points as I'll instinctively try to shake smash people. Also I felt more comfortable holding the Joy Cons in opposite hands.

@Heavyarms55 For us non-serious players I guess. For Brawl & WiiU I preferred the Wii Remote & Nunchuck over the GC controller & my nephew played pretty well with the Wii Remote sideways.

@bluesdance Tempted to double dip on Cactus myself. Despite Steam's support for the pro controller I'm curious if the Switch's online leaderboards are shared with the PC's or if it has its own seperate one.

Been giving Smash Ultimate another go & still playing a bit of Paladins. Bought V.O.I.D. but not sure how much longer I'm going to force myself to play that.

@NintendoFan4Lyf I don't think I get the "tingle" thing but it does help with relaxing. I listen to this stuff when I have trouble sleeping. Though personally I prefer some of the roleplay vids like doctors & nurse exams over atmosphere stuff.

Already have it on Steam but online is kinda deadish. May get it again just to play against more people.

@WOLF13 Can't you turn it off in vs mode settings or run a no items tournament in MK8? I remember setting it to rarely showing up in MKWii.

@Orin41 Honestly, the improved battle mode didn't sell it for me. Heck, I still haven't even tried it yet. I double-dipped because they removed firehopping.

@LUIGITORNADO Well Metroid Prime Trilogy was ported to the WiiU as an eshop game. With all the other WiiU games being ported, this one probably has the best chance on your list.

Physical. If I'm going to pay the same price either way on a new release, may as well have the cart & save some memory space.

@ReaderRagfihs It's the way I played as well. Ultimate is barely playable for us Wii remote/nunchuk players.
