Cool to see a TTRPG zine mentioned here. MOSH is a great system too. This campaign wasn’t an instaback for me because Primeval by Lone Archivist had readability issues, but the sample layouts on this look much improved. Some cool extras too. I can also very much recommend Gradient Descent as a superb MOSH module. Major System Shock vibes on that one.
I got 2 and it's really nice. So happy to pre-order 3 and get a reprint of 1 that I missed. The hardcover is too pricey for me but the softcover is no poor option itself.
I suspect people saying things spawning next to them are victims of the time of day changing rather than draw distance.. Night falls and zubats spawn right in your face if unlucky.
Surprised no comments here (that I found) point out that Asmodee was bought recently. It is likely that their license to sell a digital game based on Pandemic ends if the publishing company changes hands. This is all probably just contractual stuff. Asmodee would probably like to continue to publish this game but the new company must negotiate a new deal.
If the KS campaign was still ongoing then this isn't a case of refunding. Money is only taken when the campaign completes successfully. Fair play to not let it get that far though. As before, I ruled my self out of this one when standard warranty was offered only as a stretch goal.
@Friendly It's a bit more like the world in Free Guy than GTA. Far sillier and over-the-top. You get super powers in SRIV very early on so, even though you could drive a car, you simply won't need to as you can run faster and practically fly. It reminds me a bit of Unleashed. Also, if you play it, choose female voice 1. It's Laura Bailey from Critical Role. You can even summon Ashley Burch as a sidekick, in case you have a Tiefling friend you want to have murdered.
I don't think it will come to Switch, but the joycons are not the reason. There are affordable arcade sticks and gamepads available for the people that care about that sort of thing.
I'm shocked not shocked that the prices aren't very compelling for a lot of that. Dragon Ball FighterZ standard for £37 when the ultimate edition is frequently under £15 on the eshop or the standard under £8? Just Dance 2021 is about £10 cheaper on Amazon UK right now.
"the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes – which will have little, if any, effect on competitive Pokémon" is a statement that requires explanation or evidence. I'm not saying this is false, but that I need to understand this before ordering the new remakes.
My use case is that I'm keeping my old Switch, giving to my daughter (we are on the NSO Family Plan) and making my OLED one the Primary. I appreciate any advice on how to manage that part.
I think part of the problem, is that it's clickbait. The "Too Many Games. One Developer." And I'm not helping by commenting at all. But it's what I just did.
Totally going there. Totally expect to get gouged on prices though. Will then go back to Book-Off and that place in Shinjuku that I can't remember the name of but can always find. It's near a CoCo-ichi, which totally does not narrow it down.
I'm wondering which game to buy two of so that my daughter and I can do battles against each other (she has her own Switch). Will this or new D/P or still Sword/Shield be the main tournament game?
@AcridSkull same thing happened to me. Their international shipping ng partner crashed at the worst moment and a bunch of slower people will get theirs before mine. On the other hand, if season 1 games turn out to be a bit poo then I’ve got time to cancel my order.
@Moonsorrow999 It's compared often with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with the advantage of more interactive combat. But it's also very linear and the building a village aspect is a facade. The story is told through static cutscene drawings that has nothing to do with what the play is doing until many hours into the game. It's a fun little 3D platformer with some stats and basic graphics and performance issues. XC2 does have slower combat with tons of options with equipping blades for playstyles and combinations, an engaging and epic storyline from the first hour, plus a wonderful open world (as opposed to small areas with loading screens). In YsVIII you fight mobs roughly the same level as you. In XC2 you see level 86 and 91 mobs alongside the level 6 mobs. YsVIII is fun. It is good. It's not any more than that though.
Those graphics don't look nice enough for performance issues. YsVIII runs pretty poorly too and is a bit overrated. Is this really a step forward or sideways?
Get the remix albums of the soundtrack too. Utterly fine. It is worth calling out as a positive. And yes, I listen to it on long walks, drives and flights too.
@Nintendo_Thumb Yep. Also never seen Mario labelled as マリオ in Japan. It's a clear indication of appropriation. Not harmful but not fooling many either.

Most of those games are frequently on sale for less than half that. When is Rayman not on sale for £7.99? This is NOT a good deal!

ShopTo have the DLC for a lot less than the eshop BTW. Makes the Online Expansion pack look even more like a waste of money.
