Re: 'Pandemic' Will Apparently Be Removed From The Switch eShop This July

Surprised no comments here (that I found) point out that Asmodee was bought recently. It is likely that their license to sell a digital game based on Pandemic ends if the publishing company changes hands. This is all probably just contractual stuff. Asmodee would probably like to continue to publish this game but the new company must negotiate a new deal.

@Friendly It's a bit more like the world in Free Guy than GTA. Far sillier and over-the-top. You get super powers in SRIV very early on so, even though you could drive a car, you simply won't need to as you can run faster and practically fly. It reminds me a bit of Unleashed.
Also, if you play it, choose female voice 1. It's Laura Bailey from Critical Role. You can even summon Ashley Burch as a sidekick, in case you have a Tiefling friend you want to have murdered.

Re: Feature: Where Does Competitive Pokémon Go From Here?

"the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes – which will have little, if any, effect on competitive Pokémon" is a statement that requires explanation or evidence. I'm not saying this is false, but that I need to understand this before ordering the new remakes.

Re: Review: Ys IX: Monstrum Nox - A Fine Action-RPG With Performance Issues On Switch

@Moonsorrow999 It's compared often with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with the advantage of more interactive combat. But it's also very linear and the building a village aspect is a facade. The story is told through static cutscene drawings that has nothing to do with what the play is doing until many hours into the game.
It's a fun little 3D platformer with some stats and basic graphics and performance issues.
XC2 does have slower combat with tons of options with equipping blades for playstyles and combinations, an engaging and epic storyline from the first hour, plus a wonderful open world (as opposed to small areas with loading screens).
In YsVIII you fight mobs roughly the same level as you. In XC2 you see level 86 and 91 mobs alongside the level 6 mobs.
YsVIII is fun. It is good. It's not any more than that though.
