The Limited Run Games broadcast was one of the most entertaining of E3 to date, even if its quirky approach led to some confusion around reveals. Amongst a lot of announcements one in particular is perhaps worth revisiting, and that's the news that BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites will arrive on Switch as well as everything else 'soon'.
The original actually skipped Nintendo hardware back in the day, releasing on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2011. As well as getting a physical edition it seems that publisher Ziggurat Interactive - along with developer WayForward - is keen to make a success of the game's second bite at the market; it's hired half the cast from The Last of Us: Part II for one thing (we exaggerate a little, but a couple of that cast at least), though they're actually reprising these roles from earlier in their careers.
It'll be interesting to see whether this is a hit when it lands; at one time the BloodRayne IP was a pretty big deal, so perhaps all involved are hoping for a revival starting with this remaster.
Are you excited about BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites?

Critical Role's Laura Bailey.
Cool.
Now port the original two.
That's what I'm talking about. Never even on Nintendo consoles before and sure damn never on portable consoles before - you can count me in the default market for about as much of such "third party support" as can realistically happen.
I was very confused when I saw this on Twitter. I have never heard of this game before, I only know the two 3D action games from way back. I have actually bought those on GOG a few years ago, still fun to play!
Prepare yourself to get the fist level tune stuck in your head. Amazing underrated game.
I had the demo on my PS3 and intended to buy it but i kinda forgot it existed. I guess if it's coming to switch I'll finally get it on there then. Whatever happened to Bloodrayne anyway? The second game was awesome then she just fell off the face of the earth.
Oh boy, Jake Kaufman made a great-ass soundtrack for that game. Kind of like Castlevania on speed metal, very tasty.
Will gladly get it when it comes out.
@Zeldafan79 This game was the last game, as the article says it came out in 2011, but the original two got a re-release on PC last year called "Terminal Cut". Both games got bug fixes, upgraded visuals and controller support. And if you already owned them, you got the new editions for free, which was nice. That was how I found out about it, I saw two new editions of BloodRayne in my GoG Galaxy library. XD
I didn't hear great things about this game and didn't particularly like the demo, so I skipped it on PS3. But this version looks like it fixes some of the those problems, so I'll definitely keep an eye out for it.
Whoa! Nice surprise for me as I have it on PS3, but with the backlog it kinda got lost in the shuffle. Definitely looking forward to this one.
Loved it on the 360, great to see it come back.

@Paraka
Nah . This was the only decent one
Now I just gotto find out if its physical release worldwide or just for America.
Edit: Via LRG.......ewe
Its the publisher thing that led me believe it was a general release.
@Burntbreadman - The first one was good, second was aweful. This is about par with the first.
But if you're going to try and revitalize a franchise, it's how you do it.
Glad they finally port the only good 2D one, the other two were in 3D and plays like garbage.
All I remember about this one was that it was really difficult.
Is Uwe Boll involved? If not, no purchase.
Laura Bailey? Ok, sold.
