My Nintendo Store UK's Black Friday 2021 offers are now live, with a host of deals and discounts on Switch hardware bundles, physical Switch games, Switch accessories and Pokémon merchandise. Gotta love a Snorlax mug!
The headline deal is a standard Neon Blue/Red Switch bundle which includes a download code for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 3-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online for £259.99. That works out as a saving of £56.98, if you bought the items individually at their normal price. There are various other hardware bundles which add another game and a Switch carry case for an extra £50 (including the recently-released Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury).
Elsewhere you'll find discounts on select physical Switch games 20% off select Lego sets (and Lego games), including the huge Lego NES set, up to 40% off select Switch accessories, and 25% off select Pokémon merchandise (including plushies and a whole bunch'a mugs). The UK store is also offering a free 64GB SD card with purchases of digital games over £75.

I need that pokémon trainer trivia.
The decimal point appears to be in the wrong place for the Mini Pikachu Mug Set, which is currently listed here as £1,499.00!
@TheRealKyleHyde Fixed, cheers
I'm shocked not shocked that the prices aren't very compelling for a lot of that. Dragon Ball FighterZ standard for £37 when the ultimate edition is frequently under £15 on the eshop or the standard under £8?
Just Dance 2021 is about £10 cheaper on Amazon UK right now.
Are there going to be any deals in your deals articles? I'm just asking for a friend.
I feel a little sad that these are meant to be deals. I have some of these stuff from years ago and also paid less. Good luck everyone on your purchases
Those Nintendo branded SanDisk microSD cards are still disgustingly overpriced.
And they aren't even a good deal on their own site, for the 512GB unit it's £112.49 on My Nintendo Store, which is undercut by £94.99 over on Amazon UK.
And even then, it's lower performance than the 512GB SanDisk Ultra on Amazon UK, which is going for just £48.99 right now.
@RupeeClock I thank you for mentioning the Amazon deal for the 512gb microSD. Already have one for my switch, but I do have need for another and that price is pretty good. =)
Regarding the "deals" on the store, these are quite laughable.
The UK Nintendo store changed a few months back and is now really bad in my opinion. I used to really like it when it was part of 'The Hut' group...but now the check out and stuff seems a lot worse.
These are comedy deals. Nintendo is laughing to the bank
And.... how many of these "deals" haven't already been done before or even bettered in the past?
Black Friday articles that don't include reference to previous sale prices are literally just pointless noise.
Put in the time and effort to tell us if it's actually a good deal or not (so we don't have to check ourselves!) and that's the new par for the course on any Black Friday "deals" article.
If you were already going to spend £75 on the few digital games they have reduced, then the free SD card could be interesting.
The MyNintendo Store also sends the downloads as emailed codes, so you'd get more Gold Points than buying on the eShop directly at the same price.
...but that's about all I can see that's interesting.
And nearly all of those games have carts anyway, so... I'd rather get those instead.
Sad that we don't have such a store here in the Netherlands. The offerings on the Dutch Nintendo store are laughable at best and always out of stock too.
Wish they would concentrate on sending out my switch oled. Placed my order 5 days ago and still not been dispatched.
Ah, Black Friday. The time of year when people everywhere flock the stores and your wallet is praying for its life.
@dartmonkey I think $26 for BOTW, Splatoon 2 (gamestop's black friday deal) deserves it's own headline in the news feed. This seems like the first time we've seen those Nintendo titles go on sale lower than $40 USD.
Perhaps I'm interrupting your-making that headline right now.😉 Forgive me. Just looking out for ya.<3
@WoomyNNYes We've got something scheduled.
Shame no home circuit
@RedRaven723
In my experience of dealing with the U.K. Nintendo Store it may well have been despatched but they haven’t bothered to tell you.
What's with all the mugs?
@electrolite77 I was hoping that might be the case but I chose express delivery (1-2 days) and no sign so far. I've emailed them today so hopefully they'll get back to me soon. My main concern is that there's an error with my order and before it gets resolved the white oled will be out of stock again.
Thanks for your response.
did hollow knight get a price raise? they were under charging for it before but it's still kind of a bummer
edit: no wait i checked it's the same it's been, it has a different price in the uk?
@ancientlii
That's the price for the physical cartridge, the digital is still £10.99
@RedRaven723
No worries. Hope it gets sorted for you 👍🤞🏻
Sasuga Nintendo.
According to Which magazine over 90% of Black Friday deals from previous years were either sold cheaper before or after the Black Friday sale.
Looks this way here.
