Lost in Cult's excellent Lock-On is a 'premium gaming journal' that has been on our radar for a while now. The debut volume focused almost entierly on PlayStation, while the second issue spread its wings a little more and covered a wider range of topics.
The team behind this most noble of ventures is currently in the process of crowdfunding Volume 3, and doesn't really need our help in this regard – its Kickstarter campaign has already raised £29,914 against its intial funding goal of £24,000.
Running at around 220 pages, Lock-On Volume 3 will contain interviews with Mizuguchi Tetsuya, Jake Kazdal, Edmund McMillen and Frédérick Raynal, and much of the issue will be dedicated to celebrating the Sega Dreamcast. However, there will also be room to "explore the darker side of Pikmin" as well as a series retrospective of Darksiders.
Be sure to pledge some support if this all sounds like it could be up your street.

I've got the first two and backed the third yesterday. Lowest tier for a physical book is £20 (plus shipping), but they're really nice products.
I have a friend who works on these. I have the first 2. Really recommended. They are a great team.
I got 2 and it's really nice. So happy to pre-order 3 and get a reprint of 1 that I missed. The hardcover is too pricey for me but the softcover is no poor option itself.
Oh and you can back directly on their site if you don't like kickstarter itself
I wrote an article for this issue! Can't wait for everyone to read it.
