Mario Kart Tour is still rolling along with frequent changes in theme, but on 30th November it'll shift into an extended Holiday Tour (the equivalent of three tours) to guide players through the festive season.
As you can see in the teaser trailer there'll be cute festive versions of characters to try and obtain, quite a few of which have been available in the past but may have passed you by. By the looks it'll be light in terms of new content, perhaps with the game ramping up again in the new year.
It all starts on 30th November and will run through to 12th January, and we can expect updates in that time of specific events and promotions for players to target.
Are you planning to play much Mario Kart Tour in the festive season?

imagine if they put this effort into some MK8 DLC or MK9 instead!
if Nintendo is putting in this much extra content into their mobile kart game, I expect even more in their next home installment (MK9 or whatever the new title will be named)
@quinnyboy58 i came to say exactly the same. Absolute joke that MK8 has had nothing.
@idork99 There's a difference here, there are people paying a lot of money for these Mario Kart Tour characters, that's why we get so many of them.
Well it's not Nintendo putting the effort in,
but yes, you'd hope to see some of the inclusions in Mario Kart 9,
such as Dixie Kong.
I saved up my diamonds. This year Santa Bowse(r) is coming to town!!
People are really still complaining about Tour continuing to receive content over 8 Deluxe? They haven't added anything noteworthy in months
@idork99 @quinnyboy58 @Kidfunkadelic83 3 years and all of you are still making tantrums about this game!
3 YEARS!
God you are pathetic!
Maybe the next console release will be a live-service game. At this point, I'd be willing to give it a chance.
@quinnyboy58 I'm surprised we are still waiting for Mario Kart 9. I thought they would have released it for sure by now on Nintendo Switch but at least we have got some similar games like 'Team Sonic Racing', 'Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled' and 'Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2' to play while we wait.
If only we could get 'Diddy Kong Racing' on the Switch.
