Re: "No Widespread Technical Problems" With Switch Joy-Cons, Claims Nintendo

oceano

Just want to add some positivity here. Mine is fine. Zero trouble with the Joy Con or Pro Controller. Its been on almost constantly since I bought it. I just say that to encourage people with trouble, get a replacement for detective devices. There are working systems. People without a Switch complaining about the problem? Stop.

Re: Google Trends Data Demonstrates Interest in Nintendo Switch

I've helped add to those statistics. But I bet there are many like me who aren't pre-ordering, and aren't waiting in line to buy one launch-day, not buying one from a scalper, but I'll wait until I can just walk into a store and buy it easily. That being said, that is STILL my plan for the NES Mini, still waiting.....

I'd gladly pay for any quality game. Development is work, nothing is free. Either pay up front, or pay by being marketed to through ads (and microtransactions). Expecting something for nothing is ridiculous. I hope Nintendo can shake up the mobile market with this, although there are many other games for around that price already, it's nothing new.

Re: Parent Trap: Nintendo Switch Takes on Tablets

The 3ds systems in my house are used daily, so are the tablets. I don't see the Switch taking away tablet users as much as I see portable gamers getting an awesome device powerful enough to double as a home console, or vise versa. Its Nintendo's niche made even more seperate. Now, what is the next Pokemon title going to look like on that.👍

Re: No Strategy Briefing Planned for Nintendo's Q2 Financials - NX, 3DS and Mobile Updates Still Expected

It makes a lot of sense for Nintendo to ride out until past Christmas with what they have. Pokemon, Mario Run, Nes mini, will be big sellers. And why try to fight with ad space between ps4 and xbone when the NX isn't releasing until 2017? It would wash out the focus, although waiting until after the holiday smoke has cleared Nintendo will have all eyes and ears on them. I suspect a January announcement, and possibly pushed back release.

Re: Editorial: The Rights and Wrongs of Shutting Down Pokemon GO Fan-Made Tools Like Pokévision

Glad its down. I agree it takes the fun from the game. Play the game the way its intended. I'm doing fairly well, and I haven't used a tracker site. It exciting to have an unexpected Pokemon pop up out of nowhere. If this was a single player game, the "cheating" wouldn't affect anyone but yourself, great, go ahead. But this is worlwide multiplayer. It screws people playing it right.
