Re: Sledgehammer Games Has a Definitive Answer on Call of Duty: WWII for Nintendo Switch - "No"

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Man.. "The games look like Wii U games". Almost all first party titles have improved visuals and a boost from 720p>1080p. What do you want them to do? Completely change the artstyles? Yeah, third party support sucks, but guess what? You don't buy Nintendo consoles for third party games. The Switch has an amazing first-party line-up, with games such as ARMS, Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey. And that's what a console is all about, good games. But hey, good luck playing Odyssey on your Wii U!

@MsgBoardGamer "I can hook it up to my TV and play video games. That's what a home console does."

Apparently if we talk about specs and functionality, it's a console. But if we talk about sales, woosh, it's magically a (with DS comparable) handheld. Guess someone's just salty the Switch sales are higher than the Wii U.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE They aren't limited if it's docked. And even if they're limited, they're still console games. The controller part is your opinion. And yes, it's weaker than other consoles. Don't see how any of this makes it less of a valid console.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE It's called a hybrid. It's no rocket science. The switch can be used as a full home console without any disadvantages compared to a "real" console. More importantly, it runs full console games.

If the whole business world, the whole market & all customers see the Switch as a console competitor, you can't just go around and claim otherwise. You can form your own opinions - really. But you can't form your own facts.
