At the end it says the Upgraded editions of BotW and TotK will be availible to Switch Online + members who already have the base games, also new TotK Amiibos

On the Pre-order page on My Nintendo Store

"Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 digital games, upgrade packs and amiibo will open on My Nintendo Store from 24/04."

So if it doesn't come out beforehand, at least we'll know the upgrade price in three weeks at the most.

As someone who STILL hasnt finished these games despite owning the NES Carts since they came out back in the day, maybe now I'll finally finish them... One can hope.

Wow, thats unexpected. Not that much of a Smash player but this one seems to have hooked me. I'm still terrible at it so not going anywhere near online, but World of Light and the Spirit Board are maore than enough for me to do for a long time.

Alos really like the way the Classic mode is setup in this. Only been through once with Link, but wil certainly play again as a few characters.

I doubt it, but oh boy that would be amazing. Heck, just release it on everything as the more people that can play this game the better (guess you could say that for a lot of games really)

Joker in Smash, Marvel UA 3, Outerwilds and Dragon Age 4 were the only things I really cared about, which isn't too bad really. Oh yeah, the Stanley Parable on consoles as well, which hopefully includes switch.

Having recently finished Persona 5 this is amazing news for me, and if they rerelease it on Switch (however unlikely that is) I'd darn sure play it again.

I'll find out on Friday morning when I wake up, it may take away the surprise but I'm too old now to get up at 1am to watch it live.

Bought Owlboy, rented Bayonetta 2 and I've bought Fe on Xbox, figuring that if a Physical copy is to come it would be more likely on Switch rather than Xbox.

I remember buying (or getting it bought for me is more accurate) that on cassette from Woolworths. Good times.

Got the standard edition on order for £37.85 from base so will see how much more this version is to see if its worth the upgrade

Strong post, quietly shouting it would seem. On the plus side I've learnt what the asterisks do in here.

$50/£50 .... makes sense. Too high for me, especially given everything else being bought at launch (console, Zelda collectors edition, pro controller and 1-2 Switch). £10 less would of had me interested but at £50 its not gonna happen right away.

Though I may leave 1-2 Switch and get this and that will probably drop in price quicker....though it is a Nintendo game so probably not. Ugh, decisions.

Edit: Thinking about it, getting anything alongside Zelda will probably be a waste of money for the first few weeks. Think I'll leave other games to a later date (he says knowing full well that wont be how it happens)

I've got the Red/Blue one pre-ordered on Amazon and the Grey version pre-ordered (and paid) on ShopTo. So I'm going to get one, two or none depending on how my luck is.

It'll probably be out on the switch at the same time as the other versions, but just got to wait for Nintendo to announce a release date for the Switch first. At least thats what I think is happening.

My original plan was to get the Wii U version from the kickstarter pledge, but I may change that to the X1 download and pick up the Switch physical version whenever it comes out.

Just the physical copy of Super Mario Maker this week I think, which is currently on its way right now.

Star Fox 64, DKC & DKC2 and Hyrul Warriors Legends (the physical collectors edition) along with its 3DS/Wii U season pass for me this week.

I've gone all digital on the X1 (4TB external HD helps) but I just cannot bring myself to do that for Nintendo games. I've still got all my NES/SNES/N64/Gamecube/Wii titles and all my Wii U purchases so far have been physical copies where possible, heck even all my DS/3DS games are physical copies and thats a console where digital makes more sense then on home machines. I guess its a tradition sort of thing and I cant see that changing any time soon.

Pokken Tournament Retail, F-Zero and Super Mario Kart 3DS downloads and probably the Ace Attorney trilogy for me this week.

I'm OK with the GBA games on Wii U instead of 3DS as I can't play any of the 3DS's for long due to pain at the base of my thumbs which is really annoying as I want to play a fair few games on them. It would make more sense to release them on both though, no idea why they don't do that.

I was going to get this on the X1, but will probably end up with the Wii U version. It just seems like the right choice for this game.

Received my copy from Shopto.net today so if anyone in the UK still wants it before christmas I think this is the best bet outside of finding it in store somewhere (same day despatch if ordered before 5pm).
