I love Pokemon, but I don't want to see another main series game for a while. Next year? Sure. But this every year thing is bothering me. Pokken Tournament? Gimme. Colosseum/Gale of Darkness style? Gimme. Even Pokemon Snap or Puzzle League I'd be fine with. Change it up some more. Not just main series and Mystery Dungeon. But they seriously need to take a break from this main series / remake every year thing. I mean release a game this year PLUS the 20th Anniversary next year? After next year they may as well stop releasing games for the next five years seeing how much people are going to expect from the anniversary.

@whodatninja Battle Revolution's online was a more or less good, but the game needed an actual story.

@bitleman They complain about the controls or are left-handed people with no interest of buying a circle pad pro. I had no problems playing the game, though I am right-handed so I can't say for sure how a cpp would work out.

I would love for another Uprising style game. It is fantastic and being on the Wii U could really show its stuff with a control scheme people would feel comfortable with, HD visuals, live orchestrated soundtrack, and a new story, along with that rock solid online and plethora of achievements! Those ideas you had with scaling platforms to get to higher ground would be super fun! Though the platforming needed a little work which is really the only complaint I had from the game along with the Exo Tank needing some touching up. I'd be totally on board for a Wii U sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising!!!!

@Ananymoose I realize it, but I still want Metroid. DKR64 is great and sequel could be beautiful, but think a little more time needs to be had/made(?) until another kart game, though that doesn't stop Nintendo from releasing platformers so who knows.

@shigulicious They said they are going to advertise it as long as Mario Kart 8 which is 6 months. That is a long time.

Glad this game is going to keep being supported with updates, it'll keep the game fresh and keep people playing. Excited for Splatfest.

I really hope it isn't Diddy Kong Racing, I love that game on the 64 but wouldn't want another one seeing as Retro is rumored to develop it and I don't want that. If Retro Studios is not developing the game, I say Diddy Kong Racing come on! I just want another Metroid game developed by Retro Studios.

@Dpishere It should be, people have definitely been vocal about Metroid.

I just want a solid Star Fox game similar to 64 or Assault with a solid length single player and even if the single player isn't long the game needs online play. That's all I ask.

@Blister But Prime 3 brought that cinematic feel and is as close to that cinematic game as I think Metroid and you will get. Anymore and the game play would feel extremely linear as was the problem with Other M. The latter barely had any exploration. Prime 1 is viewed as the best because it is all about exploring with its own way of telling it's story through scanning. If you go with the crazy cinematics and dogfighting then it may as well just be some dumbed down space game with some puzzles. The less story cutscenes for Metroid the more exploration there can be.

@MailOrderNinja I wouldn't say they are even close to neck and neck. Mega Man has had 4 games cancelled, Metroid only one. Capcom has shown no interest in reviving the franchise and Nintendo stated last year that they want to make games for both 2D and 3D entries.

A new F-Zero would be fun. Played some GX last year being my first time playing F-Zero and I definitely enjoyed it. If an F-Zero game gets announced, I'll definitely pick it up.

This put a little fear in me. Anyway, I prefer physical copies to a game over digital and the only digital games I have downloaded (with one exception) I was able to download without directly purchasing because of Club Nintendo deals. The only game I have purchased digitally was Metroid Prime Trilogy. I did see the recent (3 month old) PokeGen hack for XY/ORAS games gets stopped through a patch through the 3DS and game update. There is that.

I played a few rounds and had fun. I only had problems a few times when trying to get into a room. Once I was in a room, the connection was solid with no problems afterward. Wasn't interested in the game before, but I'll look in to it.

Hm, needs more Metroid.

Good news for Nintendo, they are coming back. This is going to be a great year for them. More amiibos would be nice.

@MarzoriuM I'm with ya, and while we're at it let's throw in SEGA. Nintendo will be invincible! Though as you say, we shall dream.

If they made a DLC pack for battle mode with how it used to play with four to eight arenas (even if they were all ported over from previous games), I would completely content with Mario Kart 8 and would not anything more from it. The DLC tracks are nice, but I think the traditional battle arenas are what people have wanted since the game game out.

I honestly forgot about fire hopping.

@AVahne Well at least Black Kingdom will have others objectives than "Rout the Enemy", so there's something.

This is what I love, speculation. I love the idea of thinking about what the future could bring, especially for a company as unpredictable as Nintendo. Whether this speculation could be possible in the future or not, the next few years for Nintendo will certainly shake up the gaming industry, that is for sure.

I will buy the cards for the art alone.

Oh please, this isn't going to be the case when it releases everywhere elsewhere. Nintendo says this is how it is going to be in Japan, but hasn't said anything else. Why would they only announce this for Japan and not just say this is how it is for everyone? Any way, the game is going to be great no matter what. If it does happen to be two separate games, buy the game that your character sides with (that's the main focus of the game) and if you enjoyed the game a whole bunch buy the other one, if not move on. You're still getting a solid game.

Xenoblade X will get people to buy Wii U's.
