Re: Tekken 7 For Switch Depends On Fan Demand According To Katsuhiro Harada

jaymacx

@CharlieSmile I heard it was still being worked on. There was some news about it the other day.

"Producer and lifeblood of the series, Katsuhiro Harada, shared that yes, Tekken x Street Fighter is not completely canceled and is still on hold. This is the same game announced back in 2010 along with Street Fighter X Tekken (which did come out) and put on ice in 2016, mind. While we knew that much already, he explains that development is "roughly 30% done." Harada also openly acknowledges the possibility of another season pass (a scheme Capcom recently dumped for Street Fighter V) and a Switch port for Tekken 7." destructoid

@BensonUii what baffles me (long time 2k fan since the first dreamcast game) is how early they release the games before the start of the nba season. They could use that time to fix most issues before release.

Re: Editorial: amiibo Has Stalled, Because Nintendo is Forgetting What Makes It Special

@Fandabidozi unfortunately i gave in and bought the Usagi off of Amazon. As for the Turtles (Samurai), I was able to get everyone at Walmart. I still cannot find Muckman and Tiger claw (w/ Robe) at retail.

People complain about Amiibo availability but at least you can preorder them unlike most toys. Lego dimensions has so much stock it probably turns people away because it doesn't seem popular.

Maybe Nintendo can make a great game that focuses just on Amiibo like other toys to life franchises.

Re: Nintendo Using Costly Air Freight To Meet Demand For Switch Faster

jaymacx

@Dezzy they planned on 2 million for March. Because of demand they added almost 800,000 more. They had to be more conservative with Switch at first due to the sales failure of Wii U.

Some of us gamers don't understand that you just can't make 5-7 mil systems so quickly and it costs money to have them sitting in warehouses unsold.
So far I think they have done a great job getting systems in stores to meet demand. My local Best buy had 60 systems at launch

Re: Stardock CEO Says Nintendo Switch Doesn't Need Third Party Support To Succeed

@JudgeMethos one thing people (gamers, devs, publishers) forget is who the target audience is on Nintendo platforms. Audiences need to be built on any said platform. Nintendo needs unique titles on Switch as well as established hit games. Capcom could easily revive Mega man on Switch. Ubisoft could make Beyond Good & evil 2 , Tecmo Ninja Gaiden, & Konami Castlevania etc. Then have all these characters appear in known Nintendo hit games such as Smash or Mario Kart. Then release Amiibo for these characters. This would establish new found love for these franchises and now would be on people's radar. Fire Emblem became a good franchise in the west mainly due to it appearing in Smash.
