Damn, I thought this was coming this year. Oh well, a little bit longer to wait.

As much as I do fancy this one, I simply cannot justify £54.99 for a sonic game. Not when for the same price, I'm getting Spiderman 2.

I really want this, but lately I've been going physical so even if it does release soon on the eshop, I may have to wait a bit.

So, got it on PC, PS4, and will probably get the PS5 and switch version now. I absolutely love this game.

I disagree with cloud gaming on the switch. It feels fake saying you can now play control on the switch if all its doing is streaming online.

@Moonlessky £30 from Amazon UK. I figured the eshop sale would not be that much cheaper than that at the time. I feel the update has improved the graphics a fair bit. Doesn't seem to perform that much better and there is still a fair bit of texture popin. Still an enjoyable game though.

In anticipation for the patch, I finally bought this one yesterday. Only played a little bit and I am really enjoying it so far. I also think the graphics are not as bad as I was expecting either, so when the patch drops, it can only get better.

@PorllM Well, I also have the first one winging its way to me, so will play that one first before touching this one.

I hope it really is as good as this reviews says. Slightly worried by the poor performance, but, that will teach me for pre-ordering.

I wonder if using 2D could be a bit of a fast travel cheat, play in 3D, but instead of running across a huge landscape, switch to 2D to shorten the journey. Don't know if it will work like this, but might give it a try.

It's enough to make me not get a switch lite.

Folders is the only thing I want or need.

Is this by the same people who did the mobile games like traffic rider etc. Looks very similar which means it will be a fun simple time wasting kind of game, but not a serious racer.

Been playing this a lot today,and it’s not as bad as people are making out. Only the one level has fog like that, all the others seem fine, and I have not noticed any input issues.

I just hope that when time comes for them to do an upgrade or a successor, it's backwards compatible. I have invested more money in games for the switch than I have ever done for any other console so far.

The patch has been released today, and it does improve performance a fair but, although its still not as good as it should be!

Instant purchase for me, this was easily one of my favourite games on the spectrum. Brilliant!

Anyone know if this is getting a physical release in the UK or Europe. I have seen a pre-order link on the Argos website, but I am not sure if that was a mistake.

@Agramonte It can get a little noisy, and warm as well. Playing a bit of Need for Speed Most Wanted can make your fingers feel toasty The Switch don't do that LOL.

@Agramonte Its a nice bit of kit, and I keep flip flopping between using the GPD Win 2, and my Switch. At the moment, its the Switch as I probably would not buy a full price PC game (the Win 2 is my only PC for gaming), and to get things like Valkyria 4, I would only consider buying them on the Switch. Its too risky paying money for modern games on the Win2 in case they don't work very well.

This find means nothing. The JSON returned from the website is just a standard template/object. For the websites structure and database to support listing VC games on the WiiU and 3DS, it needs those tags in the JSON structure.

Just by changing the URL to filter on Switch only would not then cause the underlying structure of the JSON to change.

Chances are those tags have been there from day one, and it does not mean that VC is coming.

Looks pretty poor. I shall remain in waiting for V-Rally as it seems to be the only proper racing game on the horizon.

Amazingly, I got this for my GPD WIN 2 on Steam only the other week and really enjoyed what I played of it. Now its coming to the Switch, I have just refunded it on steam ready for its release so I can play it properly.

I'll probably give this ago, so far I am enjoying the free to play games on the switch.

For me, the reason I wont be buying FIFA 19 or NBA2K19 is that I already have FIFA 18 and NBA2K18 on Switch. I really don't see the point in laying down another £100 for the same game (with some minor updates). I never see the point of buying the latest Sports games year in, year out. I might get FIFA 20 or NBA2K20 when its out, but not going to dip every year.

I get that the point of this was for it to be frustrating, but the controls are awful. I just cannot get the hang of it, and am going to delete the game as I found it quite rubbish!

Well, I just bought it and tried the tutorial. Its pretty smart. Good controls. Mind you, the framerate is certainly nothing to write home about. Even on the tutorial section, where its a small town, its not the smoothest of experiences navigating and zooming in and out.

Mind you, that being said, does it really matter on a game like this. It still looks very nice, and I love the animations of the buildings getting built etc. looks very detailed and smart.

@daveh30 Me, too, its a really smart, minimalist case that doesn't add much bulk.

I quite fancy this one, although I am still unsure about playing strategy titles like this on a handheld. Always feels more suited to an iPad or something. I bet I end up getting it though, maybe I will wait to see a review on NintendoLife.com

But why, it's not even that good. I felt like it had no character, and was pretty poor.

I just feel they should leave the switch as a gaming device, personally I am not interested in any sort of apps on the Switch, just my opinion though.

I'm a backer of this, and still not received it yet. Apparently they ran out of money and are now prioritising new sales to those who backed it to try and keep the cash flow incoming. Most disappointed.

I’m not normally bothered by games at only 30fps, however, pinball fx3 is very noticeable in handheld mode. It just doesn’t look right which is a shame.

Oh hell, just checked the storage on my switch. I have a 256gb Card, and with doom downloading, and Skyrim already on it, plus all the others, I now have 60gb left. And LA Noire is going to take 27gb. Guess I will be buying that 400gb so Card now. Blimey. Sandisk, can you not release a 1tb Card for us please.

Really serious now, I like the look of this. I used to have a big X Arcade stick for my Pc, and it was great. I can imagine this being brilliant for all the neogeo games.
