Well, I bought this on day one, before I found out about the frame rate issues. I don't mind though as I am really enjoying it, it's a very good game non the less.
Does anyone else have issue with how the switches notifications work. A few times I have switched it on and seen some notification about something been downloaded, but I keep missing the info about what, and then there seems to be no way of finding out what it was etc.
I have been playing Shovel Knight with the Joycon buttons and I have to admit, I don't mind it. I know its not a proper D-Pad but it does work quite well. I have opted out of getting the pro controller as I did not like the idea of having different controls for the same game, depending on if its docked or not.
I like the fact that regardless of if I am portable or on the TV, its the same controls.
@imgrowinglegs don't get me wrong, I love the vita, but if you don't like JRPG, there is nothing big and new on it, other than Indy games (which are still good), the 3ds I never could get in to as much, and releases were quite slow, but with switch, I am hoping that it gets supported with big games as well as Indy games, best of both worlds. Time will tell.
I know people give the switch a lot of criticism, especially on the games for its release, but coming from a ps vita, I am just excited to have a new portable system that is actually getting games released for it, now the vita is unsupported. Looking at the list of big games and Indy games coming, I feel reassured that it's going to keep my busy for a good few years until the next device.

@OfNullAndVoid What an interesting idea
Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
Lack of headphone jack, what about maybe those bluetooth dongles that convert any 3.5 mm headphone jack into a Bluetooth headset. That might work for some people! It charges via USB, so you could plug it in to the switchs headphone socket, and also a USB port for power. Might be an issue when not wanting to use headphones as you might have to switch it off/unplug it etc. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Receiver-Streaming-compatible-Smartphone/dp/B01IOIKLU8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1488381472&sr=8-1&keywords=mini+jack+to+bluetooth
