Re: Turok 2 On Nintendo Switch Doesn't Include Multiplayer

gamefreak77

Why would a game for a home console not have more than one player? I know Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time were known for that, but come on, it's 2019, not 1996, and Switch is only a home console replacing the failed Wii U, not a handheld that replaces the highest selling of all time, the 3DS!

Re: Random: Zelda Fan Smashes PS4 In Rage As Breath Of The Wild 'Clone' Genshin Impact Is Revealed

gamefreak77

I would too, because here's this $300 home console he just bought for Zelda, and now Sony is about to get a similar game! I mean it's not like he bought a handheld since clearly the 3DS is the handheld of Nintendo (fanboys and Nintendo themselves say that, meaning Switch Lite is just a home console that can't connect to a television- strange as that sounds), but no, he just got a home console and another home console can now play a similar game. That'd anger me to the core as well

Re: 3DS YouTube Service Ends In Japan This September

gamefreak77

Keeping it going on Wii U, shutting it down on 3DS. So much for how that 3DS carried Nintendo, huh? Their handheld lines have ALWAYS been the majority of their income from way back in the SNES/GB days, the GB did like 3 times what SNES did! The DS even smashed the Wii in profits! Quit acting like Wii U was nothing, 14 million systems isn't something to take lightly, only ONE Sega system was able to do that, and that was Genesis!

Re: Sorry Nintendo, But The 3DS Really Is Dead Now

gamefreak77

@gaga64 well, the Wii U did the same in 2016, and was declared dead, so it fits here too. Can't have it both ways, the Wii U couldn't have died a quick death if it was still alive, because then that'd have given it 5+ years on store shelves, erasing the whole mass failure thing who only lives 5 months.

Re: Sorry Nintendo, But The 3DS Really Is Dead Now

gamefreak77

There's more to it too. I want to show something from first quarter, 2016, and compare it to first quarter 2019:

(Q1, 2016) Wii U: 18,893 million Yen

(Q1, 2019) 3DS: 5,679 million Yen

This clearly shows the Wii U made THREE TIMES as much in 2016 as the 3DS did in 2019! So, quit saying how well the 3DS is doing, it's NOT!! It's beyond dead when the WII U can make more money than it!!

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto, Like All Of Us, Still Dearly Misses Satoru Iwata

gamefreak77

Too bad Iwata's legacy ends with a massive commercial failure of a product that didn't even sell millions of systems. The Wii U was Iwata's last thing, and it was a horribly massive failure that didn't even reach 1 million households. Shame too, because had it sold like 10 or 15 million systems, it could have very easily pushed 100 million games, and game sales are where the money is. Oh, well, it didn't, so Iwata's legacy ends in massive failure. RIP Iwata.

Re: New Standard Nintendo Switch Revision Offers Significantly Improved Battery Life

gamefreak77

Now that its battery (from Nintendo's own numbers estimate) lasts longer than 3DS, what are adamant 3DS fanboys going to use as "proof" that Switch isn't replacing 3DS? You've now got a longer battery life, a dedicated handheld option, Pokemon, and virtually every other major 3DS franchise on or coming to Switch in the next few months, at this point is it finally clear Switch is the 3DS's successor?

Re: We've Re-Translated That Pokémon Sword and Shield Interview Quote

gamefreak77

Come on, you KNOW the line " Because it's the first mainline game since the 3DS-era people are, rightly or wrongly, expecting a fair boost in visual fidelity when it comes to the Pokémon visuals." before Switch Lite's introduction would have read " Because it's the first mainline game since the 3DS-era ON A HOME CONSOLE people are, rightly or wrongly, expecting a fair boost in visual fidelity when it comes to the Pokémon visuals."
Suddenly you can't call the Switch a home console, because if Switch Lite is a home console, why can't it connect to a television??

Re: Nintendo President Says 20 Million Switch Target Failed Due To "Insufficient" Efforts To Convey Its Appeal

gamefreak77

Switch: the next failure by Nintendo- says it right there, "FAILED"! The reason why was because of the 3DS, if that 2 million sales had gone to Switch instead, it wouldn't have failed as much as it did, causing them to lower their fiscal year forecast. Too bad too, Switch seemed like a good system until it started failing- "FAIL" right there in the headline, quit arguing!

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo 3DS Games

gamefreak77

But wait, all these fans on here keep arguing with me that if Nintendo said it, then it's true, despite lies in the past like DS isn't replacing GBA, 3DS isn't replacing DS, Switch isn't replacing Wii U, so NOW Nintendo is honest that Switch Lite isn't replacing 3DS when they've lied so many times in the past- I'll just leave this link from 2016 as proof they are rarely honest (yes, they actually said Wii U and Switch would coexist!): https://kotaku.com/nintendo-denies-its-ending-wii-u-production-anytime-soo-1766548639

Re: Gallery: Here's What The Nintendo Switch Lite Looks Like

gamefreak77

Great, more confusion for parents by now having 5 different portable systems to choose from this holiday- do I get my kid an $80 2DS, a $150 New 2DS XL, a $200 New 3DS XL, a $200 Switch Lite, or a $300 Switch? Yeah, the marketplace is officially flooded with systems that can be played on the go- good job Nintendo this won't cause a glut in stores at all, parents will buy all 5 systems for their kids!

Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Lite And Nintendo Switch Pro: Everything We Know So Far

gamefreak77

Hardcore 3DS fans: Switch is NOT replacing 3DS, because Nintendo said so, despite Pokemon leaving, despite another dedicated handheld now, despite all this, it's going to live forever, because it may have no games, but people are buying it, despite 2/3 drops in sales the last 2 years with another one expected this year, it's still got 2 people who want it, so that means it's still alive and selling like hot cakes!

Re: Soapbox: The Nintendo Switch Lite Has The One Thing I've Been Waiting For All This Time

gamefreak77

Remember when Switch was selling so well there wasn't a need for multiple variants of the console, and 3DS was still selling like hot cakes alongside Switch? That was a good 2017, wasn't it? This means either the 3DS is officially dead and this replaces it, or Switch failed to meet expectations and now has to have another variant add to its sales. Which is it? Probably a little bit of both since Switch did fail to meet the 20 million, and also failed to meet the revised 16 million, but the 3DS has been on life support since 2017 with Ultra Sun/Moon breathing its final life into it.

Re: Guide: Switch Pro And Switch Mini: Everything We Know So Far

gamefreak77

Why? Won't this compete with the 3DS which is selling like hotcakes? Fanboys keep saying how great the 3DS is selling, and even Bowser himself said the 3DS was doing amazingly well, and they won't stop supporting it anytime soon. This will create market confusion if they release a handheld, because 3DS is a handheld, Switch is not, it's only a home console, meant to replace the failed Wii U, it's why it came out in 2013, only days after Wii U launched, because it was quickly discontinued after launch.

Re: Here Are The Top 10 Best-Selling Third-Party Switch Games As Of May 2019

gamefreak77

Here's a crazy fact. The Wii U's lifespan for games, including 3rd parties, was the longer than Nintendo 64 and GameCube's! Look it up, the N64 launched worldwide in 1997, and its final game came in the summer of 2002, while GameCube launched worldwide in 2001 and its final game came in the summer of 2007. Wii U launched worldwide in 2012, and its final game (Just Dance 2019) came out in the fall of 2018 (nearly 2019), longer than N64 and GCN! Who would have thought that a system with an extremely short lifespan got 3rd party games longer than N64 and GCN?

Re: Switch Mini Rumours Escalate As Spanish Arm Of GAME Lists Accessories

gamefreak77

Pure speculation, because clearly they're going to release a successor for 3DS since as many on here continually say the 3DS is still selling like hotcakes. Fanboys know everything, so they're all right of course. This means Switch is NOT the successor for it, and the Switch Lite isn't happening, the 4DS will come out soon, due to the insanely high demand for the 3DS right now.

Re: It Looks Like The Final Japanese 3DS Title Has Been Canned

gamefreak77

That's weird, Nintendo said it was doing very well, and they were going to keep supporting it, but games are now being cancelled for it? Hmmmm. I mean it's not like they've got a successor for it on the market or anything since you know Switch isn't its successor- that's what Nintendo keeps reiterating. I wonder what's going to replace 3DS if it's not Switch mini...

Re: Is This Our First Real Look At Nintendo Switch Mini? Update: Company Responds

gamefreak77

These same people claiming how it's false were also the same ones taking Nintendo's comment that Switch was ONLY replacing Wii U (despite saying prior it's replacing NEITHER Wii U NOR 3DS), and still believe it despite the fact that essentially every 3DS franchise has officially (or will soon) move to the Switch. Seems like it's inevitable that a smaller version that then replaces 3DS HAS to come out, how else do they expect to sell Pokemon on a home console when it's historically sold to the handheld crowd?
