Lol Someone's dizzy off of the kool aid. It's funny that you say that considering that elon is known for blocking people left and right himself & that people that have called him out have been canceled or banned. I mean perhaps if you're a lonely basement dwelling hateful of everything incel type you'll have a great time and last there. As that seems to be what's mostly there now anyways
Or, it could be to get traffic from the rabid sony Fanboys who will come running and falling all over themselves to defend anything they see as a potential negative or some slight to sony. 😉 That's a whole industry within itself.
The funniest thing is that this is coming from a company who is terrified and throwing a b!%*# fit over the possibility of losing Call of Duty. Proving to the world that you don't believe in your own ability and can't even stand on your own two feet, yet you''re commenting on someone else. Then again I don't blame them. As it was never their titles that brought me to their systems for real
Which I always find amusing, because while of course there are some people murmuring here and there when it comes to them censoring things, people went out of their way to not to have the same energy when it came to sony. All the whining and hand wringing that went on when it was Nintendo was suddenly muted to a near hush when sony got to censoring. Something that's been going on for a while actually. Heck, I remember even back in the GameCube era when that garbage game BMX XXX came out and sony made sure that it was censored. Apparently it was only a foil and a big deal when Nintendo did it.
Meh, nobody should be feeling this thing about this either way. As most people have another option these days. And if they don't, there's more than enough games on the switch to play these days to be that bummed out over it. This isn't the Uber exaggerated Wii U scenario. Ironically, even though I have the means to play it, they were only going to get my money for the game if they put it on the Switch. As I might have given it a go there, but was never excited enough about it to buy a copy of it for my other console. The backlog on the home front is crazy enough as is. However it did look like something that could whittle away time when it's slow at work. Which is where I would have warranted a purchase in my eyes.
So they effectively saved me at least $120; as I was going to buy my nephew a copy too. I just told him that it was canceled for Switch & he was pretty much like 🤷🏻♂️ and asked could he get another game. Moral of the story is that someone will always be willing to take the money if you don't want it LOL
Yeah, I don't think Microsoft cares that much at all. Sure they want to be as profitable as any company out there , but they don't mind making the investments because they're planning for the future and play the long game. Unlike sony they know that they can absorb it and it isn't that big a deal to them in the long run as they set up for the future. A lot of that loss was to set up future plans like Game Pass and stuff like that wish they were ahead of the curve on quite frankly. The only way I see them just bowing out is if they get bored for real.
I mean maybe because many of them are. The same people who complained about Microsoft buying Activision silly didn't have any problems with sony was buying up franchises, undercutting others with exclusive deals and overall moneyhatting. And it's not like they haven't purchased companies that have been downsized or dissolved. Let's keep it real. That is why they get called out, because they were the biggest ones whining about me. Even from the top of that company on down.
Man boo effing hoo man. You act like you're the only person that has known someone in dire straits. By the way, how do you know I haven't been that person living off of 8 cent a day or something? How do you know I'm not a person that would have loved to have even had that a day? Exactly. You don't know jack about my situation, you're just ASSuming. And the thing about it, none of that nonsense you mentioned matters as the point still stands. If you're doing that bad financially your @$$ has 0 business worrying about video games. They are NOT food, water or any other necessity. It's a luxury item and something that you may want, but you absolutely don't need. Maybe I'll go stand in front of the butcher shop and whine about Angus beef being more expensive than regular ground even though it's all beef lol. Or perhaps throw a hissy fit because the person that can only afford the stanza feels entitled to a McLaren. Give me a break.
Also, let's not forget that it's absolutely OPTIONAL. If $10 is going to send you to the gutter you can wait for a sale, rent it or heck maybe even play it at a buddy's house. You can even just flat out avoid the game, but there's plenty of much more reasonable options than continually crying over 10 d@*n bucks. So you can go through all of that holier than thou nonsense all you want, but miss me with that garbage. If we're keeping it real, you could say that the real entitled people are the ones that believe a company exercising their right to sell their product at the price they want or wrong. Then again, that's exactly why I would recommend that they don't have a successful company of their own. Since you feel this way though, you keep me in mind if you ever want to sell anything. As I would love to dictate to you the price point that you sell something to me for.
Exactly. And like somebody pointed out earlier, some of these same people are typing out these tirades on the newest iPhones and everything else. There's seriously a bunch of whining and gnashing of teeth over something that a jobless kid would lose less sleep over. I know, because I was said kid. Heck, even to this day I've watched my nephew save up his money for things that cost almost triple that. Seriously , if the price of a fast food meal is that much of a deal breaker and giving you that much pause, then perhaps you don't need to be worrying about buying games in the first place. Your priorities certainly need to be elsewhere.
You already get the full experience princess. The rest is extra. That's like saying that you didn't get the full experience of your burger because they didn't include dessert. Go to McDonald's and ask him to supersize your d@*n meal for free and see what happens. The bottom line is if you want extra, you usually have to pay for it.
I am not going to lie, I do be noticing that a lot for real. And I am very okay with calling these companies out, but I certainly see double standards when it comes to how, how often and who some people keep the smoke and energy for as opposed to others. Heck, some of the same people that I have seen raking Nintendo over the coals for something here would suddenly clam up or be in defense of the very same thing when one of the other two companies did it. Even if they were doing it before Nintendo did it. I usually just look at it and chuckle because the hypocrisy is so amusing.
Yeah, nice to hear. The funniest thing about all that ying yang s that you're about as pot calling a kettle black as it can get. Dude, you don't know MY darn situation. I could literally be the poorest darn person commenting here and still feel that it's not that serious. However, you didn't even see the irony or imagine that option as you went about making ASSumptions about me to fit your narrative as you came in to play Robin Hood or some ish.
Bottom line is this; if you don't want to pay the extra 10...just don't buy the darn game. Ta da! Pretty novel idea, huh? I've done the exact science countless times and know that it 100% works. It's not food or water after all. It's an OPTIONAL purchase, not a necessity. It doesn't have anything to do with being poor, "poor shaming" any of that nonsense that you're trying to conflate it to. Which is probably why many people are calling out all the whining and hand wringing over it. Talking about extremes. Hell, rent it or something if the $10 is going to make you faint.
To continually go on about about something so fairly inconsequential in the long run though is silly. Gaming's been an expensive hobby pretty much since it's Inception. So if $10 is REALLY taking you to the Woodshed like that, then you might need to go find another one like bedazzling scrapbooks or something.
You hit the nail directly on the head man. I'm not advocating for a price increase for ANYthing, but I am an adult that lives in the real world, so I understand. Everything has gone up, that's just the way the world works. Your favorite candy bar that used to buy as a kid cost more now even though it's smaller in size . Same with your favorite bag of chips or box of cereal. To be quite honest though, game prices have stayed pretty chill longer than most things that have seen inflation much quicker over time. And that's despite everyone wanting multiplayer/multiple gane modes yadda yadda, 300 hr games, every bit of tech used, voice acting, the best story writers money can buy so that they can talk about having their "emotion heart strings" pulled Etc. Like all of that ish doesn't cost money. Something so many gamers seem to always conveniently forget or ignore
I have admittedly long found it funny how some people always seem to want to tell others else how to run their business or whatever. Yet, I would be willing to bet dollars to Donuts that the same darn folks wouldn't be so happy go lucky with their discount Outlook or willing to let you dictate how much they could sell a product to you for when and if it concerns them or their bottom line. I wonder if the same people talking all that ying yang would allow us to tell them how much they should sell their house or car for? I mean hey, where you see $300,000 I see $175,000. Or maybe maybe if they run their own business I get to tell them that they are charging too much for their skill set and services rendered.
Honestlt, it took me a while, but after years of trying to defend, I see why so many people look down on a a good chunk of gamers as being whiny, entitled man babies & such. Again ( as I'm sure some fool is going to come in here with some disingenuous nonsense) I am NOT advocating for a price hike of ANY kind, in ANY facet of life, period! I just don't find an extra $10 being the OMG end of the world to me. If $10 is really that big of a deal to you maybe you need to mow more lawns or ask for an advance on your allowance OR you need to get your life together & put gaming on the back burner. As seriously, my nephew who isn't even a teenager wouldn't Flinch as much as some of the straight up adults are doing here LOL
Straight up. And truth be told, sometimes it is legit user error that could possibly be the problem. For example, I had to call out a friend who was complaining about the joy-con drift when I would go over his house and see how he had his controllers strewn about haphazardly. You would find it in between couch cushions where it's on a tilt or thrown about with things on the coffee table with stuff on top of it and everything else that might apply pressure or keep the sticks in a fixed position.
I'm like dude, you don't think that any of this might be part of the reason that you are having problems? You're looking for your joy-con that's stuck in crevices where you're sitting on top of it and everything else and then you expect it to just continue to be resilient. That's like me continually knocking around or dropping my Blu-ray player and being dumbfounded that it's no longer reading my Blu-rays flawlessly. It's little things like that irk me in general seeing as how I'm a stickler for taking care of my electronics and stuff.
Funny thing is that while I haven't had any problems with my joycons from a launch Switch, my nephew has had issues with his dual sense -controller catching the drift & also not keeping a charge. And my buddy had stick drift with his ps5 virtually right out of the box along with issues with the apparently flimsy adaptive triggers failing on him right after the warranty. He's the second person I know that has had that problem. And I know that I certainly had issues with my Xbox controller catching the drift issue for sure.
The bottom line is none of these manufacturers make a perfect product, but it's funny how the joy-con drift issue gets exaggerated yet sony has had issues right of the box with the same thing. And i yet it's excused or seemingly forgiven/ignored. Particularly often it seems by those who you'll see nick Nintendo for any & every transgression. Case in point (while I won't say quote me on this) I'm pretty sure that sony's been hit with class action lawsuits for drift (and more?) like Nintendo & we're back having debates on this here.
At least Nintendo was fixing their issue for free outside of warranty. Try that 💩 with Sony and see what happens. I will wait. While I have not had to deal with them too much personally since the ps2 when it comes to consoles, I've certainly seen what happens with my friends and family dealing more recently with that customer service. And anecdotally speaking, none of them have had a particularly good experience.
Or maybe it's just showing that the Japanese Market didn't abandon them. They very well could abandon the Japanese market, but it doesn't matter if they still support them.
Yeah, that's probably. As it stands, not many people out there these days need a cheap DVD player. Also the Switch doesn't break down nearly as much as ps2s did. I remember all those discrete errors and chewed up discs for sure.
It's a shame really, because it's a well made system. It's got to be xenophobia at this point. As even when sony has absolutely nothing they'll keep supporting it.
Man go in with all of that nonsense. Hope that we had that same energy when sony were eagerly buying talent & money hatting every freaking body forever. Come on nan.
What if you legitimately think the games do suck though? Contrary to what you might want to believe to fit into your perspective, a lot of people have more than one system (or at least access to one) these days. I certainly have systems that I can get the game on and I wouldn't ever spend the money on them. As I just thought they were whack AF. Plain and simple.
Well, let's be honest; it doesn't seem to sell too well, get beyond niche status and keep itself out of budget bin status everywhere on the other systems either. So it wouldn't be in too unfamiliar territory if it didn't set the world on fire on the Switch as well. 🤷♂️
I just laughed at some of the comments coming from some of these folks. Using terms that they clearly don't even know the meaning to. You can smell the Incel aura coming from some of these cave dwellers when you read certain comments.
I want to find this for the U.S. so that my nephew's can get a copy of the special edition. Does anyone know where I can find that? I couldn't seem to find nothing but the Standard Edition on Amazon
Yeah nah, it was bud. In the GameCube era they were making sure that games like Bmx XXX, & Manhunt 2 were censored as opposed to their Nintendo counterparts. It's just being put on front street a lot more these days along with media willing to call them out a bit more. Especially with their ridiculous hypocrisy when it comes to when they conveniently (or perplexingly) want to apply the "standards" & what they'll apply them to.
While I'm not a big fan of Ubisoft at all, their games are no more regurgitated trash than some of the other ones that people suck up to & lust over around here. Ones that I'm not going to mention as I don't want to make some folks from sister sites & other places angry.
Been like that for a multitude of years now. So really not that surprising @ all if you're actually in the know & not getting misled by ancient stereotypes.
Not going to lie, I'm beginning to think that some of you really need to get out into the real world. Contrary to popular belief among nerds, there isn't action and adventure springing out from every nook and cranny out in the real world. People that actually go out in nature, animal watching, getting some tannage or vitamin D or whatever out in the real world knows that there isn't action and adventure springing up from every nook and cranny with every 10 steps you take LMAO.
Then you're a dinosaur stuck in the past my friend. One who is easily persuaded by propaganda, fanboy narratives and nonsense. They (Nintendo) haven't teally had a problem with mature content, themes and such pretty much since Mortal Kombat 2 on the Snes. Heck, they were the only ones out of the three that didn't exactly censor that awful game BMX XXX. They also had you murdering people with motion controls in Manhunt 2. That along with having the more gory and graphic game. Honestly you'd find Microsoft and even more so Sony censoring more than Nintendo's been for a few years now. This isn't the 80's good sir/ma'am Lol
The game it was also available on the Xbox too if you didn't know.
Yeah, that's where I'm at as well. Either that or I will wait until it is "free" on Game Pass someday. As while I am certainly interested in the game, I have quite a lot on my plate. And the only way that it would get some play anytime soon if if it's on the Switch. Since then I could have just chip away at it while commuting or when I'm just board with copious amounts of down time at work every now and again. Whereas at home there's just too much to compete with that it wouldn't even be worth spending the money on.
Heh heh Just dropped in to see the possible whining & gnashing of teeth over Switch Sports doing decently well. Probably not something that I'll pick up, but kudos to them for finding some success with It.
Oh, I am quite serious. Which is why I can't take you trying to correct me on something that was done well before Microsoft got in the game seriously at all. As before Microsoft even got in sony did the buying up exclusivity thing with Tomb Raider which screwed the Sega Saturn (I believe it was) over. They (sony) are hardly strangers to the pay-to-play crap. In fact, they may have been one of the first to actually do it in this industry.
Aaaaaand there goes the excuses & why these folks are rightfully looked at as sony fanboys! I mean it's not like sony haven't been doing this either. Like they didn't purchase insomniac & bungie.Heck naughty dog and geurilla games were making multiplatform games before being money hatted.by sony. The fact that we are oh so willing to call out & condemn Microsoft while happily deflecting & making excuses for sony and their crap is EXACTLY why many are calling out these types for the hypocritical Fanboys, disingenuous folks & sudden concern trolls that they are.
Well to be fair it's only because is usually the Sony fanboys that are the ones crying about it. As they had no problems at all when sony's exclusive rights'ing every gotdarn thing and buying up people. It only seems to be a big deal now that Microsoft is saying screw it, let's play then! Where were many of these suddenly concerned folks with their gnashing of teeth and whining when sony were doing this back in the day with tomb raider? Or even well into the current day with say Street Fighter 5 or destiny or call of duty exclusive perks even?
The funniest thing about comments like these is that when I see him, you really don't see the examples that are being mentioned. I could be wrong, but I don't think I've seen even one example of what you're talking about yet lol. It's almost as if it's being quite blown out of proportion and not nearly as prevalent as some would like to seem or be.

Re: Nintendo Wins "Switch Joy-Con Drift" Class Action Lawsuit
Re: Nintendo Wins "Switch Joy-Con Drift" Class Action Lawsuit
@TheVGMLover
The joycons for free when you send them in to Nintendo. Usually in about a little over a week's time.
Re: Japanese Charts: All Switch Models Outsold By PS5, Story Of Seasons Remake Is On Top
@ModdedInkling
Or maybe it's just showing that the Japanese Market didn't abandon them. They very well could abandon the Japanese market, but it doesn't matter if they still support them.
Re: Nintendo Switch Crowned Best-Selling Console In US For Fifth Year In A Row
@EriXz
Yeah, that's probably. As it stands, not many people out there these days need a cheap DVD player. Also the Switch doesn't break down nearly as much as ps2s did. I remember all those discrete errors and chewed up discs for sure.
Re: Japanese Charts: Switch OLED Model Dominates, Selling Almost 150,000 Units
@SBandy1
It's a shame really, because it's a well made system. It's got to be xenophobia at this point. As even when sony has absolutely nothing they'll keep supporting it.
Re: Video: A Closer Look At The Aya Neo Air, A Powerful Alternative To The Switch
@Magician
I just these days. They've been that way for quite a while now.
Re: Microsoft Enters "10-Year Commitment To Bring Call Of Duty To Nintendo"
@SalvorHardin
Man go in with all of that nonsense. Hope that we had that same energy when sony were eagerly buying talent & money hatting every freaking body forever. Come on nan.
Re: Quake-Powered FPS Wrath: Aeon Of Ruin Launches On Nintendo Switch In 2023
Yeah, I think that I'm digging to look of this one. Definitely going to keep up more on this one.
Re: Yakuza Dev Still Doesn't Think Switch Is The Right Platform For The Series
@Lizuka
Re: Yakuza Dev Still Doesn't Think Switch Is The Right Platform For The Series
@RainbowGazelle
Well, let's be honest; it doesn't seem to sell too well, get beyond niche status and keep itself out of budget bin status everywhere on the other systems either. So it wouldn't be in too unfamiliar territory if it didn't set the world on fire on the Switch as well. 🤷♂️
Re: Yakuza Dev Still Doesn't Think Switch Is The Right Platform For The Series
@kerplunk @
It was kind of a corny statement that sounded like it was coming from some 🤡 trying wayyy too hard to appear rad quite honestly.
Re: Netflix Cancels Resident Evil Series After First Season
@Bass_X0
I just laughed at some of the comments coming from some of these folks. Using terms that they clearly don't even know the meaning to. You can smell the Incel aura coming from some of these cave dwellers when you read certain comments.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Lands Physical Release Today
@Teksetter
Much appreciated man, thanks.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Lands Physical Release Today
I want to find this for the U.S. so that my nephew's can get a copy of the special edition. Does anyone know where I can find that? I couldn't seem to find nothing but the Standard Edition on Amazon
Re: Hideki Kamiya: Nintendo Hasn't Ever Asked Platinum To Cover Up Bayonetta
@Arawn93
Re: Rumour: Roller Champions Could Be Canned After Just One Month On Switch
@NotSoCryptic
While I'm not a big fan of Ubisoft at all, their games are no more regurgitated trash than some of the other ones that people suck up to & lust over around here. Ones that I'm not going to mention as I don't want to make some folks from sister sites & other places angry.
Re: Hideki Kamiya: Nintendo Hasn't Ever Asked Platinum To Cover Up Bayonetta
@steventonysmith
Xbox as well if I recall correctly. I believe that I was the only version that WASN'T censored.
Re: Hideki Kamiya: Nintendo Hasn't Ever Asked Platinum To Cover Up Bayonetta
@martynstuff
Lol Yeah, pretty much. That silly narrative pretty much died the second that they allowed Mortal Kombat 2 to come out as it did on the Snes.
Re: Hideki Kamiya: Nintendo Hasn't Ever Asked Platinum To Cover Up Bayonetta
@Arawn93
Been like that for a multitude of years now. So really not that surprising @ all if you're actually in the know & not getting misled by ancient stereotypes.
Re: Witcher 3 Dev Admits He Overcrowded One Map With Too Many Points Of Interest
@Moonsorrow999
Re: NieR: Automata Confirmed For Switch, Coming This October
@LittleGhost
Re: Marvel's Midnight Suns Coming In October, Switch Logo Missing From New Trailer
@Ryu_Niiyama
Re: Japanese Charts: Nintendo Switch Sports And Kirby Still Reign Supreme
Heh heh Just dropped in to see the possible whining & gnashing of teeth over Switch Sports doing decently well. Probably not something that I'll pick up, but kudos to them for finding some success with It.
Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Being Eyed Up For A Potential Takeover
@Would_you_kindly
Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Being Eyed Up For A Potential Takeover
@ShadowofTwilight22
Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Being Eyed Up For A Potential Takeover
@ShadowofTwilight22
Re: No More Heroes 3 Is No Longer A Switch Exclusive
@TheFox
