I'm a huge Nintendo fan. I own every Nintendo console, and have purchased the last few at launch. But after being burned with the wii, the wii u, and I even upgraded to the new 3ds (those exclusive games?) I'm starting to feel pretty bummed. I've loved the first party games, and the 3ds has tons of good stuff. I just can't justify buying another Nintendo system until it's been on the market for a couple years. Especially if the NX comes out in 2016. Way too soon. Idk. I know that This rant doesn't matter since I ultimately chose to buy these systems... But I'd love to feel that my gamble on a new system has paid off. So far with these past few, it hasn't happened yet. Not fully anyway.

The main thing I want is a localization confirmation for Dragon Quest 7.

Also, question- I have been interested in the SMT series for a while now, yet I haven't played it at all. I was considering emulating the SFC game, but also starting with one of the 3ds titles. Where do you guys think would be a good place to start? Thanks in advance!

I might jump on some of these discounts... SMT IV has had my interest for a while... Even though I've never played a game in the series.

I don't want to be the guy that complains about free or exclusive stuff but...
I wish they would have a better selection. Or at least bring back som physical gifts. I feel like the same games get offered up in some way or another all the time. Or games that everyone already has, like Legend of Zelda. It just sucks seeing physical rewards in other regions, yet we get nothing. Idk. Ultimately, I just don't want to spend more than a system's worth of coins on a $5 game.

Lol I am amazed... Even Capcom is pulling away from Nintendo now... Looks like I will be boycotting their games for the foreseeable future... Shame, I was looking forward to monster hunter 4.

I'd love to see DQ 7 re-released in the west... Great series, it's a shame that it's had such a rough release history over here.

I might get a PS4 in a few years, otherwise i'll wait until a little later in the generation. The only thing that could make me go buy a PS4 tomorrow would be if they released a Dragon Quest game exclusively for it.

Otherwise, I have a lot of retro consoles to play too. So many games, so little time...

Virtual boy Wario land is so fantastic Definitely glad I bought the VB for it.

Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious here, but... Why don't they just release a gameboy player style add on for DS games on the wii u? Even if it was $50, it'd be worth it, IMO. This just seems like a way to make more money... I really miss the old days when I could play all the handheld games nintendo had to offer on one single console: the Gamecube.

That video ending, with that music, has to be the sexiest way possible to introduce a controller.

Watch dogs hasn't grabbed my attention too much. I might pick it up when it's $20-$30, but not until then. So ready for mario kart 8 though!

I am pretty happy about these games coming out. Been playing pokemon since '99 (Yellow was my first game ever).

I'm curious to see how the transition to 3d goes, should be interesting. And those secret bases, so many possibilities...

Love this game. Played it on my GBA back when it came out, and then on 3DS. It's my second favorite in the Warioland series after #3.

Speaking of Wario, we really should get Virtual Boy Warioland on the 3DS. It'd be perfect.

Ken Sugimori has always seemed pretty cool to me, and he sounds like a smart guy.

Why are games in Australia so expensive? $80 just seems like a lot for a new game, and $50 is a lot for a new select. I don't know the value of the dollar there though, so I'm lost. Especially since the Nintendo selects are so expensive, and you can get them for $15 over here in the states.

I'm only 21, but I haven't played a GTA game since the old top down view days of the earlier entries. It was kinda fun back then, but now...not so much. I find the hype for this game kind of funny, but I guess most people play this and black ops 2 nowadays. I honestly think the series now is a bit worthless, but I don't have to buy it so its whatever. I just think it's sad that this is the game that gets all the perfect reviews and hype when there are others that are way more deserving, in my opinion.

@LDXD I know why I was confused- they released Battle of Olympus on the gameboy as well. But yeah I've always wanted to try it out!
I recently picked up Crystalis on the NES, I haven't played it yet though. Interesting that it was made by SNK. (Assuming we are talking about the same game)

I just commented about this game in another topic but ill say this: Zelda II is an amazing game. If you love Zelda & want a challenge, try it out! If you like it, check out Faxanadu on the NES. Side scrolling adventure, with a more creepy atmosphere.

@XCWarrior I really enjoy Zelda II actually. There are frustrating elements to it, but something about it has a charm to me. I really like the side scrolling madness along with its difficulty, and the leveling up system was pretty cool. It also reminded me of Faxanadu, which is always a good thing. I understand why people don't like it, but I me it'll always be one of my favorite Zelda games along with ALttP & OoT.

Also- I think it was relieving to have a bit more sense if where to go in Zelda 2, as opposed to Zelda 1 where you wander around like a drunken kid with no direction haha. (Don't get me wrong, I really like Zelda 1, I just enjoyed the change of pace in 2.)

I would play the hell out of this. Too bad the USA doesn't care about these games... :/

@Dark_Link Same here. Games like this need to sell well for more variety. I'll definitely pick this up during the Christmas season.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I love a good turn based RPG. Heck, I even love random encounters.

I guess we will have to keep an eye on BD:FF & see how the final product turns out.

Hours later, and I'm still pretty hyped about this. Can't decide between Bulbasaur & Squirtle though.

I wasn't too thrilled about paying for this service at first, but think about it. Nintendo had Pokemon box & ranch to store Pokemon, and those discs probably cost $30 to $40 each, but people bought it with no complaints. Also- remember that the price doesn't cover space exclusively, but server space as well.If price is your concern, then this bank thing isn't that big of a deal, as it would take 5-7 years before you spent as much as you had on the other storage options. I still don't know if I'll use the service, but I think it's a cool option, especially for people who want to start a new game.

I personally think it was an awesome direct. So much nostalgia, especially since I've been with pokemon since gen 1. So good to see the old starters again!

Got one of these last year for around $60. Though I still use my original for some games, especially goldeneye, the hori pad is pro for games like smash bros and f zero.

So happy about Wario Land 3. One of my favorite GBC games, I'd love to beat it again.

The idea of an all star Nintendo cast is exciting, but this new ip is really growing on me. I really should invest more time in the demo since I know I'll be getting this within a few months.
