Look everybody has an opinion. If people wait for the review of the game, that's fine. If they buy it anyway, that is also fine. I don't get a game because of the reviews. What if the reviewer hate the game and you don't. Also what if the reviewer loves the game and you don't. To me everybody has an opinion.
I still like retro games since I bought snk 40th yesterday and I am getting Atari flashback in two weeks. I will always treasure these type of games. I just feel that some people want to have it their way, that Nintendo will put out other system games besides nes . if they do, then people will have to wait. There are still some of us that continually like nes games.
@Crono1973 you find this disturbing? I know that Nintendo is not third party. I simply stated about their first party games. Yes we talked about lack of third party games, but be honest, if Ps and Xbox had lack of third party games, would they be dead in the water? I stated that switch do not lack third party games. They are getting more support from third parties more than ever. Some games can't simply be put on the system.
People are wrong if they say that switch has a lack of third party games. They do not. Just because there are no tomb raiders, assassins creed or red dead redemption doesn't mean that there are lack of triple AAA games. Nintendo put out more first party games in less than two years than on the Wii u. I am also counting ports as well. There are some gamers that didn't or don't have the Wii u, so ports would be good for them also. It is not just indies, but also retro and arcade games as well. There are some arcade games that were never on a Nintendo system until the switch, and these were triple AAA games before they were ever on a console. The switch has hundreds of games to choose from, so I find it disturbing that people complain that the switch has lack of games.
@Cobalt, what are fanboys to you? You seem to blindly love the ps4. I would say that makes you a fan boy, because you always talk about how inferior the switch is to the ps4. But you know this site is about the switch, yes everyone has their opinions. Is there one time that you are happy with the switch, or it making you miserable and you have to share it on this site.
Either you like the nes games or don't. I have the switch and Xbox one x. I like also playing retro and backwards compatible on both systems. Some nes games like ghosts and goblins are the most challenging to play. The best part about having these nes games on the switch is that you can play them anywhere.
Hey, I am getting this, no matter what. As a fan of retro, and I grew up during those times, I loved those games, and to get the opportunity to play both nes and arcade versions is a treat. So those that pass, you won't know what you're missing. Reviews may help you buy or not, but for me it is the interest of if I want to buy or not.
There we have it, people either like it or not. I think this was real ambitious and will be a lot of fun. We are also getting more dlc like in the previous smash game.
Will get smash, let's go pokemon, snk, Atari, mega drive classics, gear club 2, new super Mario, NBA playgrounds 2 and probably other surprises that may popup before the fiscal year is over.
@ShadJV kinda funny that you would call nes games crappy. They may be many years old, but they still are retro games. Games that will not go away every month. Modern games are good too, but if wasn't for these crappy retro games you wouldn't be playing glorified modern games today. Nintendo is starting out with nes, and I am sure other systems will follow. So at least have a little respect for these crappy games that started out on the nes.
@ShadJV it is not about defending them, it is about their online. Sony and Microsoft have better online, but they didn't start out perfect either. Nintendo at least have a simpler online providing with games to start with. Cloud saves for those that want them. They just got started, but it is all about choice. Either you want their online or not.
@ShadJV depends on what games come out during that month, and it is not always going to be triple aaa games either. Also unless you download it , the games will disappear after that month is over. Even though Nintendo is just starting their paid online, the games will not disappear and they will keep adding on games every month
@LuckyLand the way you sounded earlier, you were bashing Nintendo and their innovations. It sounded to me that you were a sony follower, besides if Nintendo and sega and others don"t innovate, you will end of seeing boring systems after another. While their ideas don't always work, I applaud that they at least made the effort.
@ShadJV the games on psn are not free. Once you cancel the service, you do not have access to those games. Now Xbox one, if you cancel the service, you will still keep Xbox 360 games.
I think that all people who are ps4 fans should be glad that Nintendo didn't make the switch as powerful, because if they did, they would have a powerful system that you can play at home and on the go. What would ps4 lovers say about that. But if Nintendo would've did it it would have been more expensive. That is why they made it so it can be affordable, even though it is less powerful, it still plays great games.
@NintenGuy being on a superior system doesn't mean that the game is better. It depends on the game itself. If Nintendo wanted to, they could have made a superior system, but they made one affordable, and that you can take with you.
