Ah good old Serkan Toto: The OG Doomsayer on Nintendo. Long has been wrong about a great many things; I do believe his only real “good” prediction was that Switch (1) would be a hit and could reach 100m sales (long beaten).

Time will tell, I think the next Direct (June?) will be the decider on this.

I feel sorry for the staff; but this should’ve happened years ago. Always overpriced, even above RRP times, zero incentive to buy from them and just pretty scuzzybstires.

Yep, 100% back this. If your putting this out in early December you’re missing 1/12 of your play time (whatever service your following). I for one get a ton of playtime in over holiday time so well played, Nintendo.

It’s not like poor office workers are working on this over the holiday season; things all automated data pulled and slotted into a preformatted way for you.

Tariffs aside… 😉 I’m sure this will be reasonable for a limited run hardback book. I’m estimating £18-£20 in the UK. That’s alright in my book (pun intended).

What I’m saddened about is that you can’t play in TV mode in 2D. I’m sure this wouldn’t be a stretch to implement. Hell, they show it in their own Direct video. Even a toggle on/off for 2D/3D would be preferred.

As it is, I won’t be trying this one, sadly.

Hopefully this leads to an all in one Switch 2 edition patch, but I doubt it. One can dream.

The Japanese has more going on and makes better use of the space. Should’ve had its one category.

Either way NA would come in last.

@Axecon it ain’t great news - but the floodgates will open now. Xbox and PS will follow suit and it will be the new normal going forward. I mean, “deluxe” edition games on other platforms are already like £89.99; so it’s not much of a stretch.

Yea, that’s not real.
The thumbs sticks and buttons are in the wing places. If you disconnect those Journ, you’ll be using your right thumb on the stick and left on the buttons. Or flip it over and have to press the shoulder buttons with your pinkies…

I bought a new Switch Lite to commute with, and this is the only game I’ve played on it so far. Not sure if it’s because it’s new hardware, but honestly, barely noticed a thing.

Not tried it on my OG Switch in docked mode yet though.

Neither? Japan has the better protagonist pic, but is too overcrowded, and Europe’s is lacking in anything other than Firebrand. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Been playing it all day. Absolutely love it; takes me bs k yo the SNES days, but with a well thought out and executed twist. Brilliant stuff!

Hopefully this will at least lead to F-Zero Clinzx being translated and out on NSO GBA…

@Anti-Matter Nothing there to suggest the tempo, and that’s not a waltz.

They’re both a bit crap to be honest. US/EUR is so busy and quite hard to see the name of the game at a glance, with a reduced TMNT logo. Odd choice.

Then the Japanese version is better, easier to see etc but the turtles themselves are generic key art used for years. Also lacking in the whole time theme.

Both not great art for a great game.
